Leixlip Confey railway station

Confey GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club based in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland and won Kildare's Club of the Year award in 2004.

Leixlip ( or ; Irish: Léim an Bhradáin, [ˌl̠ʲeːmʲ ə ˈwɾˠad̪ˠaːnʲ]) is a town in north-east County Kildare, Ireland. Its location on the confluence of the River Liffey and the Rye Water has marked it as a frontier town historically: on the border between the ancient kingdoms of Leinster and Brega, as an outpost of The Pale, and on Kildare's border with County Dublin. Leixlip was also a civil parish in the ancient barony of Salt North. As of 2016, the population of the town was 15,504. It is the fourth largest town in Kildare, and the 29th largest in Ireland.

Confey College is a co-educational interdenominational vocational school in Leixlip, County Kildare, Republic of Ireland. The school opened to 36 students in September 1986 and has approximately 770 students at present and about 50 staff members.The school is situated at the end of the River Forest Estate. It is one of two secondary-level schools in Leixlip, the other being Coláiste Chiaráin.

Leixlip GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland. They were senior football finalists in 1986, club of the year 1979, and home club of Matt Goff who featured on the Kildare millennium football team at full-back.

Coláiste Chiaráin (in English: the College of St. Kieran), also known as Leixlip Community School, is a co-educational community school in Leixlip established in 1980 under the trusteeship of the Presentation Sisters, the Archbishop of Dublin and Co Kildare VEC. It has over 570 students and about 50 staff including office staff, teachers and two caretakers. Coláiste Chiaráin's motto, in Irish, is "Tús Feasa Fiafraí" which means "enquiry is the beginning of knowledge".

The Leixlip Spa (Irish: Spá Léim an Bhradáin) (also known as Louisa Bridge Spa) is an archaeological and hydrogeological complex at Louisa Bridge, Leixlip, Ireland, situated close to the Royal Canal, Ireland. It was a popular health spa in the late 18th and early 19th century. The site is known to contain a warm mineralised spring and a cold spring originating from different sources. The archaeological structures comprise a hexagonal spring well and a Romanesque bath. The warm spring was uncovered in 1794 during the construction of the Royal Canal. The mineral spring, marsh and seepage areas at Louisa Bridge are included in the Rye Water Valley/Carton Special Area of Conservation

Leixlip Louisa Bridge is a railway station in the north-eastern corner of County Kildare, Ireland. It is one of two stations that serve the civil parish of Leixlip, the other being Leixlip Confey. Both stations lie on the Dublin to Maynooth commuter route. It is one of the few stations in the Iarnród Éireann network in which the station building is located directly over the platforms, on a bridge (Dún Laoghaire railway station also follows this design).

Weston Airport, also called Dublin Weston Airport, is a publicly licensed general aviation (GA) airport serving Dublin and its environs since the early 1930s. It is located between Leixlip, County Kildare, and Lucan, Dublin 8 NM (15 km; 9.2 mi) west of Dublin. Its traffic is primarily private and commercial flight training as well as business/executive travel. It is the leading general aviation airport in Ireland, and the only GA airport in the greater Dublin region, and is home to one of Ireland's two approved training organisations for ab-initio professional pilot training. The runway lies across the border between Counties Kildare and Dublin. The facility is located on the Dublin side of the line. The airport operator's mailing address is in Lucan.

The Wonderful Barn is a corkscrew-shaped building on the edge of Castletown House Estate, formerly of the Conolly family, in Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. The barn itself is formally in neighbouring Leixlip.

Anastasia "Ana" Kriégel (; 18 February 2004 – 14 May 2018) was a Russian-Irish girl who was subject to a violent attack, murder and sexual assault in an abandoned house in May 2018 in Lucan near Dublin. Two boys, known only as Boy A and Boy B, who were 13 years old at the time of Kriégel's death, were convicted of her murder, with one of the boys (Boy A) being further convicted of aggravated sexual assault. The two convicts are the youngest in the history of Ireland to be charged with murder.

Lucan Manor is a Georgian-Palladian house and estate in Lucan, County Dublin. A manor house, it is remembered particularly for its association with the Sarsfield family. A castle or house has been recorded on the site since at least the 12th century.
