Lucan Manor

Lucan ( LOO-kən; Irish: Leamhcán) is a town in Ireland, located 12 km west of Dublin city centre on the River Liffey. It is near the Strawberry Beds and Lucan Weir, and at the confluence of the River Griffeen. It is mostly under the jurisdiction of South Dublin County Council with the exception of the North Lucan areas of Laraghcon, Coldblow and Saint Catherine's Park which are in the jurisdiction of Fingal County Council. Road access to Lucan is from the N4, and the M50 motorway at Junction 7.

Anastasia "Ana" Kriégel (; 18 February 2004 – 14 May 2018) was a Russian-Irish girl who was subject to a violent attack, murder and sexual assault in an abandoned house in May 2018 in Lucan near Dublin. Two boys, known only as Boy A and Boy B, who were 13 years old at the time of Kriégel's death, were convicted of her murder, with one of the boys (Boy A) being further convicted of aggravated sexual assault. The two convicts are the youngest in the history of Ireland to be charged with murder.

Lucan Bridge (Irish: Droichead Leamhcáin) is a road bridge spanning the River Liffey in Lucan, County Dublin, Ireland. It joins Lucan's Main Street to the Lower Lucan Road, carrying traffic towards Clonsilla and the north, and the Strawberry Beds to the east. Designed by George Knowles (architect of Dublin's Fr. Mathew and O'Donovan Rossa Bridges), it was built in 1814. Constructed in collaboration with James Savage at a cost of more than £9,000, it replaced several previous bridges which had been carried away by floods.The bridge is the largest single span masonry arch bridge in Ireland, and is constructed from ashlar masonry with a span of 33 metres (110 feet) and a rise of 6.7 metres (22 feet). It is framed by iron balustraded parapets made by the Royal Phoenix ironworks of Parkgate Street in Dublin.

The Marie Keating Foundation is an Irish foundation focused on raising the awareness of cancer, and the importance of early detection and providing a range of support services for patients at every step of a cancer journey. The charity was founded in 2001 by the Keating Family including Ronan Keating, and is one of the largest national cancer charities in Ireland. The charity receives very little Government funding and relies mainly on fundraising and donations to continue to provide its free cancer support and education services. Initially focussing on breast cancer, the charity organisation has expanded in recent years to cancer information, awareness and support for all forms of cancer for both men and women.

St Finian's Esker church and graveyard is an historical site in Esker, Lucan, Dublin. It contains a medieval church in ruins and an enclosed graveyard. The graveyard has over 50 extant memorials from the early 18th century to the early 20th century. Both the church and graveyard are protected structures in the ownership of South Dublin County Council.

Garda GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, founded in 1922. They are the GAA representative team of the Garda Síochána. Garda have won the Dublin Senior Football Championship on six occasions in 1927, 1929, 1933, 1934, 1935 and 1948. Garda won the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship on one occasion in 1986, bringing them back to senior status. Garda have also had success as a hurling side, having also won the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship on six occasions in 1931, 1929, 1928, 1927, 1926 and 1925. Westmanstown Gaels is the juvenile division of the club and was set up in 2005.

Coláiste Phádraig (St. Patrick's College) is a Christian Brothers secondary school for boys in Lucan, County Dublin, Ireland. It is located in an estate called Roselawn with a relatively large campus that includes three basketball courts, two football pitches, a large school building and a modern sports hall which includes a school gym. Coláiste Phádraig is part of the Edmund Rice Trust schools.

Adamstown railway station is a station on the Dublin to Kildare Commuter service. It serves the new town of Adamstown and South Western Commuter services call to the station.

Adamstown (Irish: Baile Adaim, meaning 'Town of Adam') is a planned suburban development, the first new town in Ireland since Shannon Town in the 1960s. Located circa 16 km from Dublin city centre, the development-in-progress is based on a 220 hectare Strategic Development Zone site south of the N4 road and Lucan, west of Liffey tributary the Griffeen River and north of the Grand Canal. No date has been set for the official granting of any specific long-term official status (as of 2020 the local authority terms it an "emerging new town") but development is underway since 2005 and as of 2015, perhaps 4,500 of a planned population of 25,000 were resident. The planned scale of development is 9,000 to 10,000 dwellings, with aligned supporting infrastructure including public transport links. Adamstown is in the jurisdiction of South Dublin County Council.

Hansfield railway station is a railway station in Fingal, Ireland. It lies on the Docklands to M3 Parkway Commuter service and serves the housing estates of Ongar and Barnwell in the townland of Hansfield.

Kishoge railway station is a railway station in Ireland that is planned to serve the Kishoge (sometimes Kishogue) housing development in west County Dublin. It is located on the South Western Commuter route from Dublin Heuston as part of the Kildare Route Project. Construction of the station is largely complete, but it had not yet opened as of early 2023.

Confey GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club based in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland and won Kildare's Club of the Year award in 2004.
