Lake Forest School District

Lake Forest High School is a public high school in an unincorporated area of Kent County with a Felton postal address. It is a part of the Lake Forest School District. The school services Bowers, Felton, Harrington, Viola, most of Riverview, most of Frederica, and some of Woodside East.It is a small Division II Henlopen Conference School.

Gov. George Truitt House is a historic home located near Magnolia, Kent County, Delaware. It was built about 1796, and consists of a 2+1⁄2-story, stuccoed brick main house, with a 2+1⁄2-story braced frame wing. The house is in the late-Georgian style. It features a gable roof with an interesting modillioned box cornice and an exterior chimney with sloped weatherings and corbelled lip. It was the home of Delaware Governor George Truitt (1756-1818).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Thomas B. Coursey House is a historic home located north of Coursey Pond near Felton, Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1867, and is a three-story, five-bay, low hip-roofed, center-hall passage, single-pile, rectangular-plan, large frame house. It has Italianate-style design details. Attached to the main house are a two-story, shed-roofed north wing and to the east there is a recently added one-story, shed-roofed wing. It was the home of Thomas B. Coursey, a prominent figure in 19th century Kent County.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
