Pine Bush High School is the central high school for the Pine Bush Central School District, located on Route 302 in the hamlet of Pine Bush, New York, United States. The school no longer offers the International Baccalaureate degree program. It had been authorized to do so since 2002.The school was used in an episode of ABC Afterschool Special in 1991 titled “It’s Only Rock and Roll” which starred Grammy Award Winning singer Carol King.

The Taylor–Corwin House, also the Falconer Inn, is a Registered Historic Place in Pine Bush, New York. It is located at 112 Maple Street (NY 302), a few houses south of its intersection with NY 52.It was one of the earliest houses built in what is today Pine Bush, around 1840. Architecturally, it was built in the then-popular Greek Revival style, with some touches of Colonial Revival. In 1871, James Taylor, the local merchant who originally built the house, sold it to farmer John Corwin. Eleven years later, he in turn sold it to Amanda Falconer, who turned it into an inn. It became popular with travelers on the Crawford Railroad, which terminated at Pine Bush, as a place from which they could take in the scenery of the nearby Shawangunk Ridge.Since the demise of the railroad, it has since returned to its original status as a private home. It was added to the National Register in 2005.

The population was 1,751 at the 2020 census. Pine Bush is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area.

Crawford is a town in the north of Orange County, New York, United States. The population was 9,130 at the 2020 census. The name comes from a settler who gave his name to a community in the hamlet now called Pine Bush.

The John I. Crawford Farm, also Hopewell Farm, is located on NY 302 in the Thompson Ridge section of the Town of Crawford in Orange County, New York, United States. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1998.Crawford, whose family lends its name to the town, settled the region and began building the farm around 1780. The property's main house was built not long afterwards, in the Federal style. A century later, in 1890, the bright yellow outbuildings of the property were updated in a Victorian style. The Crawford family cemetery lies to the southwest.

The Hopewell Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at the junction of Thompson Ridge Road (Orange County Route 17) and NY 302 in the Thompson Ridge section of the Town of Crawford in Orange County, New York.The church itself was established in 1778, in a stone building 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of the present site. It moved to the current building, a stone Gothic revival building, in 1831. In 1968, an addition was built on the back.In 1998 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Shorter House is located at the end of Andrews Road in Thompson Ridge, a hamlet in the Town of Crawford in Orange County, New York, United States. It is a late 18th-century building later modified in the Greek Revival style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Thompson Ridge is a hamlet located within the town of Crawford, New York. The hamlet is served by a United States Post Office with the ZIP Code 10985. Thompson Ridge is located along NY 302 south of Pine Bush, Crawford's main population center. It takes its name from the Thompson family, early settlers of the region. The houses of Alexander, Andrew and Robert Thompson still stand along 302. Much of Thompson Ridge is elevated, providing sweeping views of the Shawangunk Ridge over the valley of the Shawangunk Kill. A small downtown section, including the post office, is along Thompson Ridge Road just east of its junction with 302.

The Alexander Thompson House is one of several originally built by members of the Thompson family in Thompson Ridge, a hamlet in the Town of Crawford in Orange County, New York. It is located, like the others, along NY 302 just south of the intersection with Thompson Ridge Road. It is split between two different eras. The northeast portion of the house is believed to be part of the original structure. In 1822, however, the southeast portion was built in the Federal Style. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Andrew Thompson Farmstead is one of three Registered Historic Places associated with the eponymous family along NY 302 in Thompson Ridge, an unincorporated section of the Town of Crawford in Orange County, New York. It was built around 1810 in a combination of two popular styles in early America: Greek Revival and the Federal style. It remains largely intactIt was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Robert A. Thompson House is located along NY 302 in the Thompson Ridge section of the Orange County, New York, town of Crawford. It was built in 1822 in the Federal style. One of the stones in the northwest cable bears his initials and that date. His descendants established the Dutch-Belt dairy farm, which still operates.The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Benjamin Van Keuren House Ruin is located at the corner of Bruyn Turnpike and Benjamin van Keuren Drive in the western portion of the Town of Shawangunk, in Ulster County, New York, United States. It was the site of the house built in 1745 by Van Keuren and his wife Sarah, early settlers of the area. He would later be elected town supervisor four times and serve in the 4th Regiment of the Ulster County Militia during the Revolutionary War. Today only the foundation stones remain, on a slight rise at the edge of a nearby woodlot, after the building burned down. The town has honored Van Keuren and his role in its history by naming the street after him when houses were built on it recently, and putting a commemorative plaque on the nearby pillar. In 2000 the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
