Danske Commodities (DC) is an energy trading house. The company is an international trader of energy-related commodities such as electric power, gas and climate market products with activities in 40 countries.

DGI-Huset or DGI Huset Aarhus is a sports center located in Aarhus, Denmark. Parts of the buildings are historic, built in 1910 as part of the Aarhus Central Workshops for the Danish national railway company DSB. In 1990, DSB closed and sold their repair facilities to Aarhus Municipality and in 1997 the sports organization of DGI bought the building. An extensive renovation and construction project was completed on 11 October 2003, including new extensions. The buildings now serves as the primary facility for the sports organization Danske Gymnastik- & Idrætsforeninger in Aarhus, featuring a number of sports facilities, conference rooms. It is also home to some local sports clubs. The organization DGI-Århusegnen, the local chapter of the national organization DGI, took initiative to establish the sports center in the building.

EY Huset (formerly KPMG-huset) is a building on Værkmestergade 25 in the Indre By neighborhood in Aarhus, Denmark. It is one of the tallest buildings in Aarhus and Denmark at large. At 68.5 meters it is the fourth tallest building in Aarhus after Aarhus Cathedral, Aarhus City Tower and Ceres Panorama. As of 2017 it is the 16th tallest building in Denmark. EY Huset is a mixed use building with condominiums on the top two floors, offices on the following 10, stores on the next 2 while the bottom 3 are various miscellaneous. The high-rise was built as a part of the commercial department store project Bruun's Galleri. The building is 17 floors tall and is situated directly behind Aarhus Central Station surrounded by buildings that are generally lower.The building was formerly known as KPMG Huset after KPMG who rented a number of floors in the building. After Ernst & Young took over KPMG activities in Denmark the building was renamed to EY Huset.

The Baumann House is a listed building in Aarhus, Denmark. The building was constructed in 1911 and was listed in the national Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 18 September 1996. The building is situated in the central Indre By neighborhood on Jægergårdsgade adjacent to the Aarhus Central Workshops.

Aarhus Central Station (Danish: Aarhus Hovedbanegård, abbreviated Aarhus H) is the main railway station serving the city of Aarhus, Denmark. Serving as the main connecting hub for rail traffic between Aarhus and the rest of Denmark, the station is used by an average of 6.3 million people per year, making it the busiest station in Denmark outside the Copenhagen area. It is located in the city centre between the districts of Midtbyen and Frederiksbjerg with entrances from Banegårdspladsen and the shopping centre Bruun's Galleri, and with access to platforms from M.P. Bruuns Gade. It is a through station with 4 platforms. The station is located on the East Jutland railway, and is the terminus of the Grenaa Line and Odder Line. It offers international connections to Hamburg and Berlin, InterCity connections to Aalborg/Frederikshavn and Copenhagen, regional connections to the rest of Jutland as well as light rail services to Grenå and Odder. The train services are operated by DSB, Arriva and Deutsche Bahn.

Willemoe's House (Danish: Willemoesgård) or the Bishop's House (Bispegården) is a building in Aarhus, Denmark situated in the Indre By neighborhood on the corner of Fredensgade and Sønder Alle. Willemoe's House was built in 1858 by designs of the German architect Gustav Ludolf Martens in historicist Gothic revival style. Originally it was built to serve as the home and office for the bailif of Hads and Ning Hundred and today houses the Danish non-profit Folkeligt Oplysningsforbund (FOF).The building is colloquially known as Willemoe's House from its original builder and owner and the Bishop's House from the lengthy period it served as the home and office of the Bishop of Aarhus.

Catholic Church of Our Lady (Danish: Katolske Vor Frue Kirke) is a church in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is situated in the central Indre By neighbourhood on the pedestrian street Ryesgade, close to the Central Station and City Hall. It is a catholic church under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Copenhagen; built between 1877 and 1880 by designs of the German architect Franz Schmitz and later renovated by the architect Carl R. Frederiksen. The church has seating for 500 people.The congregation is the largest catholic congregation in Denmark consisting of some 3500 members from 89 different countries. Especially Vietnam is well-represented but also Iraq, Poland, Chile and Germans.

Spanien Public Baths (Danish: Badeanstalten Spanien), colloquially known simply as Spanien, is a public bath house and a listed building in Aarhus, Denmark. The bath house was completed in 1931 and was listed on the Danish national registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 15 February 1989 as a fine example of the Nordic funkis style. The building was thoroughly renovated in 2010–12.The name Spanien (Spain) refers to the harbour district street where the bath house is situated. In Denmark, harbour district streets are normally named after foreign destinations.

Skansepalæet (Lit.: Sconce Palace) is a residential building in Aarhus, Denmark situated in the Frederiksbjerg neighborhood. The building comprises Standvejen 34-36 and Heibergsgade 25-27. Skansepalæet was built in 1908 by designs of the Danish architect Hjalmar Kjær as a hotel in connection with the Danish National Exhibition of 1909. Today the building is an apartment complex owned by its residents.

Skanseparken (lit. The Sconce Park) is one of the oldest parks in the city of Aarhus. It is situated in the neighborhood of Frederiksbjerg in Midtbyen. Skanseparken was constructed in the years 1901 to 1902 between the streets Strandvejen, Marselisborg Allé and Heibergsgade. The park is typical of the parks in the city with large, open areas bounded by beech trees, raised flower beds and playgrounds. It is a popular area for festivals, concerts and other cultural events.The name of the park refers to the sconce erected by Albrecht von Wallenstein on the site when he occupied the city and used it as a base for raids throughout Jutland in 1627 during the Thirty Years' War. In 1898 the area was bought by a developer in Marselisborg and subsequently annexed by the city. Two large residential complexes known as Skansen (The Sconce) and Skansepalæet (The Sconce-mansion) overlooking the small park in the north, both refers to the former sconce here.Skanseparken contains a bust of Hendrik Pontoppidan by the sculptors Vilhelm Bissen and Rasmus Andersen.

Park Allé (lit. "Park Avenue") is a street in the Indre By district in Aarhus, Denmark which runs north to south from Sønder Allé to Banegårdspladsen. Park Allé is a major bus hub and is home to the Aarhus City Hall, the City Hall Square and the two large hotels of The Mayor Hotel and Hotel Ritz.

Søndergade or Strøget is a street in Aarhus, Denmark. It is located in the inner city neighborhood and runs 350 metres south to north from Ryesgade to Skt. Clemens Stræde and provides access to the alleys Telefonsmøgen and Posthussmøgen. Søndergade was created between 1854 and up through the 1860s as the city expanded southwards following the abolition of octroi and the city walls. The word Sønder is an older Danish form of "south" and the name thus means "Southward-street". Søndergade is part of the 750 meters long shopping street and pedestrian zone Strøget which runs from Aarhus Central Station to Aarhus Cathedral, consisting of the three streets Søndergade, St. Clemens Street and Ryesgade. Strøget has about 47,000 visitors on a daily basis and some 14 million visitors annually, making it among the busiest commercial streets in Denmark.
