San Joaquin College of Law

California Health Sciences University (CHSU) is a private, for-profit university located in Clovis, in the U.S. state of California. Founded in 2012, the school operates three academic programs, two of which offer doctoral degrees in pharmacy and osteopathic medicine, and the third offers a masters degree in science. Graduates of the College of Pharmacy (COP) will receive the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree, graduates of the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) will receive the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, and graduates of the College of Biosciences and Health Professions (CBHP) will receive the Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) degree. The College of Osteopathic Medicine is fully pre-accredited by the American Osteopathic Association's (AOA) Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA). The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission and has approval to operate from the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE).

Clovis is a city in Fresno County, California, United States. Clovis was established in 1890 as a freight stop for the San Joaquin Valley Railroad by a group of Fresno businessmen and Michigan railroad speculator Marcus Pollasky. The railroad bought the land from two farmers and named the station after one of them, Clovis Cole. Pollasky then developed a town on the site, also named Clovis. The completion of the lumber flume in 1894 led to the growth of the area around Clovis Station where a lumberyard and sawmill were built. Clovis was officially incorporated as a city in 1912. Today, Clovis celebrates its heritage as an American frontier town, known for its rodeo, Old Town Clovis historic district, and its motto "Clovis – A Way of Life." The 2020 population was 120,124. Clovis is located 6.5 miles (10.5 km) northeast of downtown Fresno, at an elevation of 361 feet (110 m).

Melvin is a former unincorporated community in Fresno County, California, now incorporated into Clovis. It lies at an elevation of 358 feet (109 m).

Clovis High School is a four-year high school founded in 1899. The school's current campus, located at 1055 Fowler Avenue in Clovis, California, United States, opened in 1969.

The Center for Advanced Research and Technology (CART) is a high tech high school in Clovis, California, United States. The CART facility is about 75,000 sq ft (7,000 m2). It offers classes in professional sciences, engineering, advanced communications, and global economics. Within each cluster are career-specific laboratories in which students complete industry-based projects and receive academic credit for advanced English, science, math, and technology.

KFPT (790 AM) is an American radio station broadcasting a sports format. Licensed to Clovis, California, United States, the station serves the Fresno area. 790 ESPN Radio airs live sports, ESPN Radio programing and local ag reports. KFPT-AM is also Fresno's home for professional sports like Oakland A's Baseball, San Jose Sharks & LA Lakers. The station is currently owned by Fat Dawgs 7 Broadcasting, LLC and features programming from ESPN Radio.

Tarpey Village is a census-designated place in Fresno County, California, between Fresno and Clovis, 2 miles (3.2 km) south of the latter, near Tarpey. Tarpey village falls within the Clovis Unified School District. It lies at an elevation of 351 ft (107 m). At the 2010 census, the population was 3,888.

Dr. Floyd B. Buchanan High School, known as Buchanan High School, is a four-year public high school in Clovis, California, United States. The school is part of the Buchanan Educational Center, which houses approximately 5,000 students at Garfield Elementary School (K-6), Alta Sierra Intermediate School (7-8), and Buchanan High School. The school graduated its first class in the spring of 1995, and is named after CUSD's first district superintendent, Dr. Floyd B. Buchanan, which makes Buchanan High School the only CUSD high school that does not contain "Clovis" in its name.

Save Mart Center at Fresno State is a multi-purpose arena, on the campus of California State University, Fresno (Fresno State), located in Fresno, California. An open house was held for the community on November 5, 2003, with the official ribbon cutting following on November 27, 2003. It is home to the Fresno State Bulldogs men's and women's basketball teams, women's volleyball team and wrestling team. It is the former home of the Fresno Falcons ice hockey team for their first five seasons in the ECHL (2003–08); prior to the opening of the building, they played at Selland Arena. It is also a concert destination, with its first performance featuring opera tenor Andrea Bocelli. Financing for the project was provided through revenue, from corporate sponsorships, private gifts, leasing of luxury suites, sale of club seating and personal seat licenses, as well as revenue from advertising and signage agreements.

The Leaky Acres Recharge Facility is a groundwater recharge facility located in Fresno, California. The facility began as a joint research project by the City of Fresno water division and the US Department of Agriculture. It first began percolating water in 1971 and was subsequently expanded and duplicated in other areas of the city.

University High School (UHS) is a charter high school on the campus of California State University, Fresno, in Fresno, California. The school emphasizes college-prep academics and music. UHS opened in 2000 with Dr. Brad Huff as the founding head of school, with its first class graduating in 2004. At the end of the 2004–2005 school year, approximately 370 students were enrolled. The school now has a steady enrollment of about 480 students. University High School is chartered by the Fresno Unified School District and has special autonomy over its administration.

Fresno Yosemite International Airport (IATA: FAT, ICAO: KFAT, FAA LID: FAT) is a joint military–public airport in Fresno, California, United States. It is the primary commercial airport for the San Joaquin Valley and three national parks: Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It offers scheduled passenger flights to several major airline hubs in the United States and international service to Mexico. The facility opened in June 1942 as Hammer Field, a military airfield. The airport is owned and operated by the city of Fresno and operates two runways on a property spanning 1,728 acres (699 ha). Its airport code "FAT" stands for Fresno Air Terminal, a former name for the airport. Due to its central location within the state, the airport is home to several military, law enforcement, firefighting, and medical air units. The Fresno Air National Guard Base on the southeast corner of the airport is home to the 144th Fighter Wing of the California Air National Guard. The Fresno Air Attack Base on the eastern side of the airport supports aerial firefighting aircraft. Other government and military operators with facilities at the airport include the California Army National Guard, the California Highway Patrol, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, and the Fresno Police Department. Fresno is home to a large operations base for SkyWest Airlines, the nation's largest regional airline.
