The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment is a research institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science founded in May 2008. The centre is a partner of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change at Imperial College and acts as an umbrella body for LSE's overall research contributions to the field of climate change and its impact on the environment. Furthermore, the institute oversees the activities of the Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (CCCEP), a partnership between LSE and the University of Leeds. Both Grantham research centres are sponsored through the Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, established by Hannelore and Jeremy Grantham in 1997. The combined investments totalling approximately £24 million is recognised as one of the largest private contributions to climate change research. CCCEP is funded independently by the ESRC. The institute is currently chaired by Lord Nicholas Stern of Brentford, former Chief Economist of the World Bank and author of the widely known Stern Review. Bob Ward is the policy and communications director. The purpose of the Institute is to increase knowledge and understanding on climate change and the environment; promote better informed decision-making; and educate and train new generations of researchers through its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Resource securityThe research of the institute is characterised by its interdisciplinary nature and brings together international expertise on economics, finance, geography, the environment, international development and political economy, as the centre's academic staff comprise a broad range of disciplines, including physicists, climatologists, economists, statisticians, political scientists and various other social scientists. In September 2015, the institute hosted an Open Energy Modelling Initiative workshop. In October 2021, the institute published a working paper by Nicholas Stern stating that economists had grossly undervalued young lives.

32 Lincoln's Inn Fields (formerly Her Majesty's Land Registry Building) is an Edwardian Grade II listed building on the on the National Heritage List for England, and an academic facility of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), located on the south side of Lincoln's Inn Fields in Central London. The building was built in two stages between 1903 and 1913 to house the Head Office of HM Land Registry, with the west wing and centre of the building were built between 1903 and 1905, and the east wing was completed in 1912–1913. The Land Registrar Charles Brickdale based the design of the building on Blickling Hall in Norfolk. The designs were executed by the Office of Works under Henry Tanner and the supervising architect was Richard Allison.The London School of Economics acquired the building in 2010 and converted it into an academic facility, through a £56 million investment. The interior was transformed by the architectural firm Jestico + Whites to include classrooms, two Harvard style lecture theatres, a cafeteria, break out spaces, and a new accessible entrance. The building was opened again in January of 2013, and now houses its Department of Economics and the International Growth Centre.The building was the exterior set for the Halcyon Hotel in the 2017 World War II television drama The Halcyon.

Lisle's Tennis Court was a building off Portugal Street in Lincoln's Inn Fields in London. Originally built as a real tennis court, it was used as a playhouse during two periods, 1661–1674 and 1695–1705. During the early period, the theatre was called Lincoln's Inn Fields Playhouse, also known as The Duke's Playhouse, The New Theatre or The Opera. The building was demolished and replaced by a purpose-built theatre for a third period, 1714–1728. The tennis court theatre was the first public playhouse in London to feature the moveable scenery that would become a standard feature of Restoration theatres.

The Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) (FGDP(UK)) is an independent UK professional body for general dental practitioners. It was established in 1992 as a faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is located in the College’s headquarters in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. Membership of the FGDP(UK) is open to all dentists, dental surgeons and dental care professionals registered with the General Dental Council. It opened its membership to dental care professionals (DCPs) in 2005 and to students in years 4 or 5 of their Bachelor of Dental Surgery undergraduate degree in 2011.

The Hunterian Museum is a museum of anatomical specimens in London, located in the building of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

The Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and Ireland (CFSGBI), commonly known as the Craniofacial Society, is a professional organisation and charity dedicated to the study of cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies based at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London in the United Kingdom. The Society first convened in 1970 and continued to meet on an ad hoc basis, leading to its formal constitutional establishment in 1985. The Society has since grown in terms of membership and stature and has developed to become the leading professional organisation for cleft health care professionals in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) is an independent professional body and registered charity that promotes and advances standards of surgical care for patients, and regulates surgery and dentistry in England and Wales. The College is located at Lincoln's Inn Fields in London. It publishes multiple medical journals including the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Faculty Dental Journal, and the Bulletin of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

The British Library of Political and Economic Science, commonly referred to as "LSE Library", is the main library of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). It is the largest library in the world devoted to the social sciences. The Library responds to around 6,500 visits from students and staff each day. In addition, it provides a specialist international research collection, serving over 12,000 registered external users each year. It is housed in the Lionel Robbins Building.

The Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) is a British research centre at the Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economic and Related Disciplines at the London School of Economics.

The Women's Library is England's main library and museum resource on women and the women's movement, concentrating on Britain in the 19th and 20th centuries. It has an institutional history as a coherent collection dating back to the mid-1920s, although its "core" collection dates from a library established by Ruth Cavendish Bentinck in 1909. Since 2013, the library has been in the custody of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which manages the collection as part of the British Library of Political and Economic Science in a dedicated area known as the Women's Library.

The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn is one of the four Inns of Court in London to which barristers of England and Wales belong and where they are called to the Bar. (The other three are Middle Temple, Inner Temple and Gray's Inn.) Lincoln's Inn, along with the three other Inns of Court, is recognised as being one of the world's most prestigious professional bodies of judges and lawyers.Lincoln's Inn is situated in Holborn, in the London Borough of Camden, just on the border with the City of London and the City of Westminster, and across the road from London School of Economics and Political Science, Royal Courts of Justice and King's College London's Maughan Library. The nearest tube station is Holborn tube station or Chancery Lane. Lincoln's Inn is the largest Inn, covering 11 acres (4.5 hectares). It is believed to be named after Henry de Lacy, 3rd Earl of Lincoln.

Lincoln's Inn Fields is the largest public square in London. It was laid out in the 1630s under the initiative of the speculative builder and contractor William Newton, "the first in a long series of entrepreneurs who took a hand in developing London", as Sir Nikolaus Pevsner observes. The original plan for "laying out and planting" these fields, drawn by the hand of Inigo Jones, was said still to be seen in Lord Pembroke's collection at Wilton House in the 19th century, but its location is now unknown. The grounds, which had remained private property, were acquired by London County Council in 1895 and opened to the public by its chairman, Sir John Hutton, the same year. The square is today managed by the London Borough of Camden and forms part of the southern boundary of that borough with the City of Westminster. Lincoln's Inn Fields takes its name from the adjacent Lincoln's Inn, of which the private gardens are separated from the Fields by a perimeter wall and a large gatehouse. The grassed area in the centre of the Fields contains a court for tennis and netball, and a bandstand. It was previously used for corporate events, which are no longer permitted. Cricket and other sports are thought to have been played here in the 18th century.
