The Protestant Church is a church of the Dutch Reformed and Lutheran community in Oranjestad, Aruba. The church is not an official member of any international church organisation. The old church dates from 1846. In 1950, a new church was constructed next to the old church. The old church is the second oldest building of Oranjestad which still exists after Fort Zoutman.

The National Archaeological Museum Aruba (Papiamento: Museo Arqueologico Nacional Aruba) is an archaeological museum in the city of Oranjestad in Aruba. The collections covers from 2500 BCE to the 19th century.In 1981, the Archaeological Museum of Aruba was opened. In 2009, the museum had moved to a new location and was reopened as the National Archaeological Museum Aruba.

City Hall (also known as the Eloy Arends House; Dutch: Stadhuis) is home to the civil registration of Oranjestad, Aruba. The building used to be a doctor's office and residential home of Eloy Arends. Aruba is only subdivided in regions and zones for administrative and statistical purposes, therefore, it is not a city hall defined as the seat of municipal government. The city hall is used for civil registrations, passports and marriages.

It explains the history of the island and its inhabitants, in rural and urban areas.The museum is situated in Fort Zoutman, an 18th and 19th-century military fortification.The museum is administrated by the Fundacion Museo Arubano (Aruban Museum Foundation) since 1992.

The Numismatic Museum of Aruba (Papiamento: Museo Numismatico Aruba) is a former numismatic museum in the city of Oranjestad in Aruba. It was founded by J. Mario Odor and was opened on 13 November 1981. The collections included coins, paper money, and stamps of Aruba and other countries. The museum is now closed.

The St. Francis of Assisi Church (Papiamento: Parokia San Francisco di Asis Dutch: Sint Franciscus Kerk) also alternatively called Pro Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and serves as the pro-cathedral or temporary cathedral in the city of Oranjestad, on the Caribbean island of Aruba, an autonomous country in the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Lesser Antilles. It is a church that follows the Roman or Latin rite and is within the Diocese of Willemstad (Dioecesis Gulielmopolitana). This is one of the most important churches in Aruba that was built in 1829 and offering religious services in Papiamento and English.

The University of Aruba (UA) is a public university located in Oranjestad, the capital city of Aruba, a small island country located in the southern Caribbean Sea. The university was established in 1988 as the University of the Netherlands Antilles, and it became an autonomous institution in 2010 after the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles. UA provides undergraduate and postgraduate education in four faculties: Law; Accounting, Finance and Marketing; Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies; and Arts and Science.

The National Library of Aruba (Papiamento: Biblioteca Nacional Aruba, BNA) is the main library of Aruba. It is located in Oranjestad and holds more than 100,000 volumes.BNA serves as both the national and the public library of Aruba. It was founded on 20 August 1949 as the island's public library and reading room. After Aruba gained its status aparte in 1986 the Aruba Public Library (Papiamento: Biblioteca Publico Aruba) officially became the National Library of Aruba. BNA has a public library branch in San Nicolas, and a separate building, Arubiana-Caribiana, housing the National and special collections, located in Oranjestad, near the main branch. The BNA holds an annual "Green Education Symposium" to make students and educators of Aruba aware of their local environment so that they become active advocates of the environment surrounding them to make Aruba sustainable for future generations. This is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Beth Israel Synagogue is the synagogue of the Aruban Jewish community, located in Oranjestad, Aruba. Beth Israel Synagogue is an independent congregation with a liberal style similar to Reform Judaism or Conservative Judaism.
