Church of St. Luke in the Fields

St. Luke's School is a coeducational elementary and middle school which is divided into a Lower School (Grades JK-4) and an Upper School (Grades 5–8). It is located on the block of The Church of St. Luke in the Fields in the West Village at 487 Hudson Street, Manhattan. In 2020, the school completed an expansion, during which the school grew from a one-class-per-grade model to two classes per grade. Total enrollment for 2021-2022 is 340, which includes one class of Junior Kindergarten and two classes of Kindergarten through Grade 8. Class sizes range from 18 to 20. The student-teacher ratio is 7:1. Bart Baldwin has served as Head of School since 2007. The current Upper School Head is Amy Francisco, and the current Lower School Head is Karina Otoya-Knapp. The current Chief Officer of Admissions and Enrollment is Susan Harriot.

The Christopher Street station was an express station on the demolished IRT Ninth Avenue Line in Manhattan in New York City. It had three tracks, one island platform and two side platforms. It was served by trains from the IRT Ninth Avenue Line. It opened on November 3, 1873 and closed on June 11, 1940. On February 25, 1908, the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad built a subway station just east of this station as part of the extension between Hoboken and 33rd Street. The next southbound local stop was Houston Street. The next southbound express stop was Desbrosses Street. The next northbound stop was 14th Street for all trains.

The New Ohio Theatre is a performance venue in the West Village of New York City. Located at 154 Christopher Street, the theater was established by Robert Lyons. After losing the lease on his Soho space for the Ohio Theater in 2010, Lyons moved to the Archive building in the West Village. It is an Off-Off-Broadway theater.

The Church of St. Veronica was a Roman Catholic parish church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 153 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in the West Village area of the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The parish was established in 1887, and the church was built between 1890 and 1903. It is located within the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission's Greenwich Village Historic District Extension I, which was designated in 2006.

Christopher Street is a station on the PATH system. Located on Christopher Street between Greenwich and Hudson Streets in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, it is served by the Hoboken–33rd Street and Journal Square–33rd Street lines on weekdays, and by the Journal Square–33rd Street (via Hoboken) line on weekends.

Greenspon was an art gallery located in the West Village of New York City owned by Amy Greenspon. Founded on a partnership with art dealer Mitchell Algus, the gallery opened in the Fall of 2010 with an exhibition of paintings by Gene Beery and an inaugural musical performance by Emily Sundblad and Pete Drungle. Greenspon presented emerging and mid-career artists with diverse multidisciplinary practices, as well as museum-quality exhibitions. Greenspon closed in 2018 following controversy surrounding the cancellation of an exhibition of work by alleged Neo-Nazi Boyd Rice.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre is an off-Broadway playhouse at 121 Christopher Street in Manhattan's West Village. It was built in 1926 as a 590-seat movie theater called the New Hudson, later known as Hudson Playhouse. The interior is largely unchanged to this day. In the early 1950s, the site was converted to an off-Broadway theater as Theatre de Lys, opening on June 9, 1953, with a production of Maya, a play by Simon Gantillon starring Kay Medford, Vivian Matalon, and Susan Strasberg. It closed after seven performances. Much more successful was The Threepenny Opera which opened March 10, 1954, with a cast that included Bea Arthur, John Astin, Lotte Lenya, Leon Lishner, Scott Merrill, Gerald Price, Charlotte Rae and Jo Sullivan. Because of an incoming booking, it was forced to close after 96 performances. Re-opening September 20, 1955, with largely the same cast, The Threepenny Opera this time played until December 17, 1961, a then record-setting run for a musical in New York City.In 1955, financier Louis Schweitzer acquired the building as an anniversary present for his wife, actress-producer Lucille Lortel. In 1981, the year of her 81st birthday, the theatre was renamed in her honor. After Lortel's death in April 1999, she left the theatre to the Lucille Lortel Foundation.

The Federal Office Building in the West Village of Manhattan, New York City, also known as United States Appraisers' Warehouse, was built between 1892–99. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It is a ten-story Romanesque style building bounded by Christopher, Greenwich, Barrow, and Washington Streets, about four blocks west of Sheridan Square. The building's architect, Willoughby J. Edbrooke, left his successful Chicago practice on being named Supervising Architect of the Treasury in 1891. He died before the completion of the building, but his influence and the influence of the Chicago School of Architecture is evident.

Commerce Inn (also referred to as The Commerce Inn) is a restaurant in the West Village neighborhood in New York City. Commerce Inn was founded in late 2021 by restaurateurs Jody Williams and Rita Sodi. The restaurant draws inspiration from the Shakers, a Christian sect known for Shaker furniture.
