The Robbinsville Public School District is a comprehensive community public school district serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in Robbinsville Township (known as Washington Township until 2007), in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. A new high school was established in the district, which started admitting its first students in 2004-05 as part of ending a sending/receiving relationship with the Lawrence Township Public Schools under which students had attended Lawrence High School. As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 3,164 students and 237.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.3:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

Edinburg, also known as Edinburgh, is an unincorporated community located within West Windsor in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is located at the junction of Old Trenton Road (County Routes 526 and 535), Edinburg Road (CR 526), and Windsor Road (CR 641). Robbinsville Township is a township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located at the cross-roads between the Delaware Valley region to the southwest and the Raritan Valley region to the northeast, the township is considered part of the New York Metropolitan area as defined by the United States Census Bureau, but directly borders the Philadelphia metropolitan area and is part of the Federal Communications Commission's Philadelphia Designated Market Area. The township is named for George R. Robbins, who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1855 to 1859 and lived in the area. Inspired by its central geographical location within New Jersey, Robbinsville's motto is Be at the Center of it All.What is now Robbinsville Township was originally incorporated as Washington Township (named for George Washington) by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 15, 1859, from portions of East Windsor Township. On November 6, 2007, voters approved by a vote of 1,816 to 693 a measure that changed the township's name from Washington Township (the name of five other municipalities in New Jersey) to Robbinsville, named after a settlement within the township. The official changeover took place January 1, 2008, as signs and other items with "Washington" on them began to be changed.Robbinsville Township is known for reaching the Little League Softball World Series in four of the seven years from 2008 to 2014, the only program in the nation to do so. The team won the championship in 2014 with a 22–0 postseason record and a 4–1 win against Bossier City, Louisiana in the tournament final. the team was featured in a story by ESPNw as a perennial softball powerhouse.

Trenton–Robbinsville Airport (FAA LID: N87) is a privately owned, public use airport a mile east of Robbinsville, in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation reliever airport.The airport is next to Miry Run Golf Course on Sharon Road just off Route 130. Trenton–Robbinsville Airport offers gas, lessons, rental planes, and hangars for private planes. Cutting Edge Aviation and Aviation Charters, at the west end of the field, offers full service aircraft maintenance. The airport is improving safety issues. Work geared towards that goal started in October 2011 and was expected to finish in June 2012.

The community, covering 570 acres (230 ha), was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Until the 2000 census the area was part of the Mercerville-Hamilton Square CDP, which was split into two CDPs as of 2010: Mercerville and Hamilton Square. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 12,784.Hamilton Square was established in 1692 and was named after Alexander Hamilton in a wave of anti-British feeling at the time of the War of 1812. It previously had been called Nottingham after the British town. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 12,784.

The Mercer County Special Services School District (MCSSSD) is a special education public school district headquartered in Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States, whose schools offer educational and therapeutic services for students of elementary and high school age from across the county who have emotional of physical disabilities that cannot be addressed by their sending districts. The district was created in November 1977.As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's four schools had an enrollment of 628 students and 103.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.05:1.The superintendent for the district is also the superintendent for the Mercer County Technical Schools.

The flagship station is licensed to the Trenton/Princeton market and operates from the West Windsor campus of MCCC. The Classical Network owns and operates WWFM, WWNJ (91.1 FM) in Toms River Township, WWCJ (89.1 FM) in Cape May, and WWPJ (89.5 FM) in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. It also broadcasts in the Philadelphia market on the second HD Radio channel of WYPA (89.5 FM) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey, is a 183-acre (74.1-hectare) Hindu mandir (temple) complex that encompasses the Akshardham mandir, a traditional temple, a welcome center, museum, and event space. Following the opening of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in 2014, the Akshardham mandir was inaugurated on October 8, 2023 as the world’s 2nd largest Hindu temple. The temple stands 191 feet (58 m) high and is situated 99 km south of New York City.
