The Building at 171–177 Clinton Street, also known as Bruun and Co. and Afga Ansco, No. 99, is a historic commercial building located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. It is a two-story, two part brick commercial block built in 1920. The first floor is divided into four storefronts and the second floor contains the remnants of offices and apartments. The building was purchased in the 1940s by General Aniline & Film and housed a number of GAF offices and facilities.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Endicott-Johnson Medical Clinic, also known as the Wilson Hospital Annex, is a historic hospital building located at Binghamton, Broome County, New York. It was built in 1928 by the Endicott Johnson Corporation as a part of its "Square Deal" program. It is a two-story, T-shaped steel frame building with a flat roof, clad in red brick. It has a projecting central section that is four bays wide and a one-story enclosed portico. It was sold in 1946 to the Wilson Memorial Hospital and used as an annex. In 1967, it was purchased by New York State for use as a day care center for the Binghamton Psychiatric Center.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The West Side, as the name implies, is a neighborhood in the western section of the New York State city of Binghamton. It is primarily an urban residential neighborhood with retail along Main Street and pockets of industrial buildings along the train tracks. The West Side, can be defined as encompassing the area north of the Susquehanna River, east of the neighboring village of Johnson City along Margaret Street and Floral Avenue, west of the Chenango River and south of the Norfolk Southern tracks. The area's "main drag" is Main Street which carries NY-17C. It runs from the foot of the Court Street Bridge west and into Johnson City. It is lined with retail, consisting of several large supermarkets, churches, pharmacies, bank branches, a few bars and restaurants as well as a few mom and pop shops. Other important streets in the neighborhood are Riverside Drive, Front Street which carries US-11, Leroy Street, Grand Boulevard and Floral Avenue. The West Side is home to Lourdes Memorial Hospital, Recreation Park, Binghamton High School, Seton Catholic Central, and St. Patrick's Church. Recreation Park and the area south of it are part of the Abel Bennett Tract Historic District. The American Civic Association, on Front Street, was the site of the Binghamton shooting, where 13 people were killed by a shooter before he committed suicide. Apart from commercial Main Street and some industrial buildings one block north of it along the Norfolk Southern tracks, the West Side of Binghamton is primarily an urban residential neighborhood. The housing stock ranges from small to large, detached, single and double-family houses to attached row-houses and larger apartment buildings. Generally, the area south of Main Street towards Riverside Drive and the Susquehanna River is inhabited mainly by people of lower middle to upper-class. The area north of Main Street is inhabited by people of a lower income. Many college students also live in the area south of Main Street near/around Recreation Park.

The Harlow E. Bundy House (also known as the Bundy Museum of History and Art) is a historic house located at 129 Main Street in Binghamton, Broome County, New York.

Saints Cyril and Methodius Slovak Roman Catholic School, now known as Schoolhouse Apartments, is a historic Catholic school building located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. It was built in 1910 and is a two-story over a raised basement, steel frame building clad in brick. The building is rectangular in shape, 85 feet wide by 45 feet deep.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Lithuanian National Association Hall, also known as the Tri-Cities Opera, is a historic clubhouse located at Binghamton, Broome County, New York. It was built in 1917, is a two-story, steel and timber frame building with a flat roof, clad in yellow brick. It features a broad central Romanesque arch on the second floor. The building measures approximately 50 feet wide by approximately 115 feet deep. The building housed the Lithuanian National Association until 1964, when it was sold to the Tri-Cities Opera.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Recreation Park is a public, urban park in Binghamton, New York. Located in Binghamton's West Side, Recreation Park is bordered by Schubert Street to the North, and Laurel Avenue to the East, Seminary Avenue to the South, and Beethoven Street to the West. Shoe manufacturer George F. Johnson donated it to Binghamton, and it is home to one of Allan Herschell's six famous carousels. The park also contains a bandstand, statues and monuments, numerous athletic fields and courts, swimming facilities, a playground, and walking paths in a grove of mature oak trees.

The George F. Johnson Recreation Park Carousel is a historic carousel located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. The carousel and its pavilion were built in 1925. The carousel is housed in a wooden, one story, 16-sided, pavilion topped by a cupola. The carousel has 60 horses standing four abreast, each of which is a "jumper," and two chariots. It was constructed by the Allan Herschell Company and contains its original Wurlitzer Military Band Organ. The carousel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.This carousel, the gazebo, and the entire Recreation Park served as inspiration for Binghamton native Rod Serling's classic Twilight Zone episode "Walking Distance". Serling is honored with a bronze plaque in the floor of the gazebo, as well as with paintings depicting memorable scenes from The Twilight Zone on the carousel.This is one of six carousels donated to the citizens of Broome County by George F. Gen. Edward F. Jones House is a historic home located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. It was constructed in 1872 and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, irregularly shaped building built of an eclectic combination of materials and textures. It was part of a large estate assembled by General Edward F. Jones (1828–1913) by 1883. The foundation and first floor are constructed of brick while the upper stories are of wood with shingle, beaded board, and clapboard siding. It is an exceptional example of the Queen Anne style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Marlborough Building, also known as Marlborough Hotel, State Bank of Binghamton, State Hotel, and Marble Grill, is a historic building located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. It was built in 1914 and is a three-story, five bay commercial building with a one-story addition and upper level stacked porches projecting from the rear. The front facade features a stepped parapet with a cast cartouche ornamented with foliage flanked by decorative cast stone foliage. It was built as a hotel and housed a bank on its first floor until 1930. From the 1940s to 1990s, the first floor was used for commercial establishments with apartments above.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Seton Catholic Central is a private Roman Catholic school located on the Westside of Binghamton, New York. It is run by the Catholic Schools of Broome County, which is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse. Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital is a 197 bed community hospital in Binghamton, New York, United States. In 1983, the hospital was selected by the US Federal Government to take part in a national cancer research project. In 2006, a flood cost the hospital several million dollars in damages.In 2016, the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released the first round of the Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating. Our Lady of Lourdes received one star, and in 2019, received three stars. In 2016, Loudes Hospital also became a certified member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network.In 2017, Lourdes was granted a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).In 2018, Lourdes was ranked as the 21st best hospital in New York according to the U.S. News Best Hospitals specialty rankings.
