Saptakoteshwar Temple is a Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord shiva at Narve in Goa, India, is considered to be one of the six great sites of temples of Shiva in the Konkan area.

St Estevam (Santo Estêvão) is an estuarine islet in the Tiswadi taluka, Goa state, India. Therefore, the people of Jūvã came to be nicknamed bhennddem. The island is named after St. Stephen. It is one of Goa's most prosperous villages, often quoted by ex-Chief Minister Pratapsingh Rane for having a high per capita income. It is the smallest of six major islands within the Mandovi, the others being: Ilha de Goa Chorão Divar Cumbarjua Vanxim Several other small mangrove islets and sand banks.

Fort Santo Estevão (Fortaleza de Santo Estevão in Portuguese) is a military structure erected in Santo Estevão Island, in Goa, by the Portuguese. Built on the highest point of Santo Estevão Island, it was originally built as a watchtower to guard the Mandovi River, in 1550. It was the easternmost defensive structure in the Velhas Conquistas. After the first Maratha incursions against Goa, in 1666-1668, The structure was expanded into a small fort. In 1683, the Marathas attacked Goa and managed to breach into the island of Santo Estevão because the corps of auxiliaries tasked with defending it fled from their enemy. The Marathas captured the fort and massacred its garrison. After the annexation of the Novas Conquistas, the fort lost its military purpose. It was abandoned in 1811 by decree of the Viceroy of India Dom Bernardo José Maria da Silveira e Lorena. Restoration works were undertaken on the fort in 2012.

Maem is a village located in the North Goa district in the state of Goa, India. In 2001, the population was 7544 of which 3799 were male and 3745 were female.

Piedade is an island village located in Ilhas (also known as Tiswadi), a northern district in the state of Goa, India, and named after Our Lady of Compassion. The name comes from the Portuguese word piedade, which means "compassion". It lies 23 km east of the state capital, Panjim, between the taluks of Satari (to the north) and Ponda (to the south). Other nearby villages are Amona (3 km), Volvoi (3 km), Surla (4 km), Cudnem (4 km), Betqui, and Candola (5 km). The local language is Konkani.

Vanxim or Capão is an island of Goa situated in the Ilhas region. One can reach here by taking a ferry from Divar. The colonial name for Vanxim was Capão. Naroa is a village located on the eastern tip of the island of Divar, in the Indian state of Goa. It has a population of barely a thousand people, with about 80 houses. The Island subsequently became the residence place of many dignified families of Goa. It also houses three parochial churches and possesses a chapel of two images of Christ held in great veneration by the Catholics of the place. The ruins of a fort are evident in the northern part of the village.

The Konkan Railway passes through São Mathias, the nearest stop on the mainland is the train station at Carambolim. São Matias is surrounded by Piedade and Panjim towards west, Ponda towards East, Margão Taluk towards South. This Place is in the border of the North Goa District and South Goa District. It is near to Arabian Sea so there is a chance of humidity in the weather. The São Mathias Church was built by the Portuguese over 400 years ago. The St Mathias Sports Club is situated on the main road of the village.

The Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola is located 500 metres (1,625 feet) from the main town of Marcel, Goa, India. This college offers courses in Bachelor of Science (Computer Science & Microbiology), Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Geography.
