Patola (Finnish), Dammen (Swedish) is a northern-central neighborhood of Helsinki, Finland.

Mustapekka Areena (previously Fair Pay Areena in 2006–2017, also known as Oulunkylän jalkapallostadion, "Oulunkylä Football Stadium"), is a multi-purpose stadium in Oulunkylän liikuntapuisto in the Oulunkylä neighbourhood of Helsinki, Finland. It is the home stadium of football club IF Gnistan, and is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds a seating capacity for 1,100 people.

Oulunkylä (Swedish: Åggelby, also known as Ogeli) is a suburb and a neighbourhood of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. It is located 6 kilometres (4 mi) north from the center of the city. It has been inhabited since the 13th century. Earlier an independent municipality, it was made part of Helsinki in 1946. Oulunkylä is also the name of a district. It consists of Patola, Veräjämäki and Veräjälaakso, and has a total area of 4.51 km2.

Itä-Pakila (Finnish), Östra Baggböle (Swedish) is a northwestern neighborhood of Helsinki, Finland.

Oulunkylä railway station (Finnish: Oulunkylän rautatieasema, Swedish: Åggelby järnvägsstation) is a railway station in the Oulunkylä district of Helsinki, Finland. It is located between the stations of Käpylä and Pukinmäki, along the main railroad track from Helsinki to Riihimäki, about 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of the Helsinki Central railway station. The station building in Oulunkylä is no longer in use for train traffic, and the station does not have ticket sales.

Koskela (Swedish: Forsby, lit. "rapids village") is a district in the city of Helsinki, Finland. There are about 3 300 inhabitants. The borough is surrounded by Käpylä, Kumpula, Vanhakaupunki, and Oulunkylä. Koskela is located in the subdivision of Vanhankaupungin peruspiiri, near the rapids close to the mouth of the Vantaa River. The earliest mention of the human settlement in Koskela dates back to 1417, which makes it the oldest part of Helsinki.Koskela can be divided into two distinct areas: the small north side dominated by detached housing and the dense south side with apartment buildings. The streets of Puu-Koskela (wooden Koskela) have been named after municipalities in Uusimaa. Before the recession of the 90s, Koskela had many kiosks and stores. After the financial collapse, only one Alepa remained in the center of the apartment building district. Although one of the tram depots is named Koskelan varikko, it isn't situated in the borough.

Käpylä (Finnish) or Kottby (Swedish) is a railway station in the Käpylä district of Helsinki, Finland. It is located between the stations of Pasila and Oulunkylä, along the main railroad track from Helsinki to Riihimäki, about 6 km north from the Helsinki Central railway station.

Pakila (Swedish: Baggböle) is a neighbourhood in Northern Helsinki, about nine kilometers from the city center. It comprises Länsi-Pakila ("West Pakila") and Itä-Pakila ("East Pakila"). Pakila has approximately 10 275 inhabitants.In Pakila the average size of the apartments is the second largest in Helsinki, 98 m2.Since the 1970s, the largest party in Pakila has been Coalition. The National Coalition Party was the most popular party in Pakila in the 2012 municipal elections (50% support) and in the 2015 parliamentary elections (44% support).Pakila is home to many celebrities, such as Antero Vartia, Arto Bryggare, Erkki Junkkarinen, Jimi Constantine, Kari Hotakainen, Martti Larni, Oskari Mörö, Samuli Laiho, and Signmark.

Karjalatalo (in English: Karelia House) is a red brick building in the Käpylä neighbourhood of Helsinki, Finland. It is owned by the Karelian Association, who built it as a meeting place for the Finnish Karelians who were displaced during World War II and their descendants. Designed by architect Into Pyykkö, construction of the building began in 1972 and completed in 1974. The interior design by Maisa Laaksonen features large amounts of pine, as well as the colours red, black and green.The location of the building was heavily debated before construction began, with Lappeenranta a serious contender until the city of Helsinki donated a suitable plot of land for the building effort. The building effort received significant amounts of private donations. Approximately 200,000 Mk were obtained from municipalities around Finland, who were asked to donate one markka per Karelian evacuee living in the municipality in 1960.In addition to being used by the Karelian Association, the building is used Viipurin Lauluveikot as a practice facility, along with having an ecumenical chapel.

Veräjälaakso (Finnish), Grinddal (Swedish) is a northern-central neighborhood of Helsinki, Finland.

Uusimaa (Swedish: Nyland), is a historical province in the south of Finland. It borders Finland Proper, Tavastia, Savonia, and Karelia. The English translation would be "new land". From the Middle Ages to 1809, most of the present-day Finland was a part of Sweden. Uusimaa (Nyland) was thus included also among the historical Swedish provinces.

Käpylä (Finnish: [ˈkæpylæ]; Swedish: Kottby) is a neighbourhood of Helsinki with 7,600 inhabitants. Administratively speaking, Käpylä is a part of the Vanhakaupunki district. It is located between Kumpula, Oulunkylä and Koskela. Käpylä has a terminus for route-1 of the Helsinki tram network. Additionally, the Olympic Village built for the 1952 Summer Olympics and another village for the cancelled 1940 Summer Olympics are located in Käpylä. The Park Hotel, located in Käpylä, became known for being the shooting location of the popular Finnish satirical TV series Hyvät herrat. One of the two lyceum schools situated in Käpylä has a specific orientation towards students with an interest in the natural sciences. The tram lines 1 and 1A as well as the Tuusulanväylä freeway bus lines travel to Käpylä. The I- N- and T-trains of the Helsinki commuter rail system stop at Käpylä railway station. There are smaller regions inside Käpylä, Puu-Käpylä (wood-Käpylä) and Taivaskallio.
