Green House (Little Rock, Arkansas)

The Scipio A. Jones House is a historic house at 1872 South Cross Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a 1+1⁄2-story masonry structure, finished in an elaborate interpretation of the Craftsman style with a variety of materials. It has a clipped-gable roof covered with red tile, with a skirt of roofing extending across the front above the first floor. The entrance is recessed under a stone-faced arch, which is flanked by stuccoed bays with bands of three sash windows. The gable above also has a three-sash window group. The house was built about 1928 for Scipio Jones, one of Arkansas' most prominent African-American lawyers and politicians of the period.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Paul Laurence Dunbar School Neighborhood Historic District encompasses a historical neighborhood area of central Little Rock, Arkansas. Primarily developed between 1890 and 1915, the area was initially racially integrated, but had by the mid-1960s become predominantly African-American. It is anchored at the northern end by the Dunbar School campus, and extends south for 6-1/2 blocks along South Cross and South Ringo Streets. Prominent houses in the district include the Miller House (1853 S. Ringo), the Womack House (1867 S. Ringo), and the Scipio A. Jones House (1872 S. Cross).The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Arkansas Teachers Association Headquarters Building and Professional Services Building are a pair of historic commercial buildings at 1304 and 1306 Wright Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Occupying adjacent lots with a shared parking area and landscaping, the two buildings are both single-story brick structures, designed by George Tschiemer & Associates and built in the early 1960s. The buildings were listed as a pair on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018, for the role of the Arkansas Teachers Association, an association of African-American educators, in its work during the Civil Rights Era of the 1960s to end segregation in the state.

The Womack House is a historic house at 1867 South Ringo Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a single-story wood-frame structure, with a low-pitch gable roof, weatherboard siding, and a brick foundation. A cross-gabled porch extends across the front, supported by sloping square columns. The gable ends are supported by knee brackets, and the eaves have exposed rafter ends in the Craftsman style. The house was built in 1922 for Dr. A. A. Womack, a prominent African-American doctor of the period.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and Junior College was a school for black students in Little Rock, Arkansas before integration.

The Miller House is a historic house at 1853 South Ringo Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1906 and twice enlarged by the same owner, the house is a reflection of the effect of segregation in the United States. Now a two-story brick-faced Craftsman-styled structured, it was originally built as a modest single-story cottage typical of the segregated African-American neighborhood in which it was located. It was purchased in 1924 by Arthur T. Miller, who was employed in a comparatively secure position as a railroad mail clerk. Prevented by segregation from moving to more affluent neighborhoods, Miller chose to enlarge the house, and then finish it in brick.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

M. W. Gibbs High School was a segregated public high school for African-American students in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. It was named after local judge Mifflin Wistar Gibbs. It was open by 1892, when Jefferson G. Ish was appointed principal. In 1909 the school was listed as being at 1600 Scott Street. By 1913 the school was at West 18th and South Ringo streets; that building was still standing in 1939.

The Pearson–Robinson House is a historic house at 1900 Marshall Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story brick building, with a dormered hip roof, and a broad porch extending across the front. The porch is supported by brick piers, and has a bracketed eave. It was built in 1900 by Raleigh Pearson, and was purchased in 1903 by future United States Senator and Governor of Arkansas Joseph Taylor Robinson. It has also been home to Governors George W. Hays, Charles H. Brough, Thomas C. McRae, and Tom Jefferson Terral.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church is a historic former church building at 1401 West 18th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story vernacular brick structure, its main facade featuring a slightly recessed central section with a gable topped by a cross above. The church was built in 1941 for an African-American congregation established in the 1890s. This was the congregation's first purpose-built home, which it occupied until moving to larger quarters on Brown Street in 1975. It has been owned since then by the Greater Little Rock Singing Quartet Center, and continues to serve as a community meeting and performance space.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Charles Clary Waters House is a historic house at 2004 West 22nd Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof, weatherboard siding, and a brick foundation. Its prominent feature is a massive temple-front portico, with two-story fluted Ionic columns supporting a dentillated entablature and fully pedimented gable. The house was built in 1906, and is a prominent local example of Classical Revival architecture. It was from 1911 to 1927 home to Charles Clary Waters, a prominent local attorney who served for many years as a US District Attorney.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Dunaway House is an historic house at 2022 Battery in Little Rock, Arkansas. Designed in the Craftsman Style, it is located on a boulevard on Battery Street. The two-story brick house is in the Central High School Neighborhood Historic District. It was designed by architect Charles L. Thompson of Little Rock in 1915. The Dunaway House features a terra-cotta gable roof with a portico over an arched entrance. It has a south-facing two-story wing with a hip roof. The house was listed individually on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Maxwell F. Mayer House is a historic house at 2016 Battery Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Built 1922–25, it is a two-story Tudor Revival structure, designed by Little Rock architect Maximilian F. Mayer. The styling is unusual for its neighborhood, which consists mainly of Craftsman and Colonial Revival houses. It has a side-gable roof with a large projecting gable at the right end, whose right roofline descends to the first floor to shelter a porte-cochere.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
