Bob Hope Patriotic Hall is a 10-story building that was dedicated as Patriotic Hall by the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors in 1925 and was built to serve veterans of Indian Wars, Spanish–American War, World War I and to support the Grand Army of the Republic. It serves as the home of the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Patriotic hall was rededicated to honor of Bob Hope and renamed "Bob Hope Patriotic Hall" on November 12, 2004.

The Dosan Ahn Chang Ho Memorial Interchange, also known as the Harbor–Santa Monica Freeway Interchange, is a three-level cloverstack interchange that serves as the junction between the Harbor (Interstate 110 and State Route 110) and Santa Monica (Interstate 10) Freeways at the southern edge of Downtown Los Angeles, California. Officially named since 2002 after Korean independence activist Ahn Chang Ho, and constructed as part of the first segment of the Santa Monica Freeway which was completed in 1962, it is one of the busiest freeway interchanges in Los Angeles, with hundreds of thousands of vehicles using the interchange daily.

E3 (short for Electronic Entertainment Expo or Electronic Entertainment Experience in 2021) is a trade event for the video game industry. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) organizes and presents E3, which many developers, publishers, hardware, and accessory manufacturers use to introduce and advertise upcoming games and game-related merchandise to retailers and to members of the press. E3 includes an exhibition floor for developers, publishers, and manufacturers to showcase their titles and products for sale in the upcoming year. Before and during the event, publishers and hardware manufacturers usually hold press conferences to announce new games and products. Over time, E3 has been considered the largest gaming-expo of the year by importance and impact. Before 2017, E3 was an industry-only event; the ESA required individuals wishing to attend to verify a professional relationship with the video game industry. With the rise of streaming media, several of the press conferences were broadcast to the public to increase their visibility. E3 2017 became open to the public for the first time, with 15,000 general-admittance passes for those who wanted to attend.E3 took place annually in June at the Los Angeles Convention Center from 1995 to 2019. The event was cancelled for the first time in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the event in 2021 was held online. The 2022 event was cancelled in full, with no announced plans for a virtual event, though the ESA stated they intend to return for 2023.

L.A. Comic Con is a three-day multi-genre convention held annually in downtown Los Angeles, California. L.A. Comic Con is one of the largest independent conventions in the United States and encompasses several categories, including comic, horror, sci-fi, anime, gaming, and pop culture, with a particular focus on the local Los Angeles community. The convention was founded as Comikaze Expo in 2011 by Regina Carpinelli and her two younger brothers, fans of geek culture from Temecula, California. The convention went through several rebrandings – first to "Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo" and then "Stan Lee's LA Comic Con". L.A. Comic Con is also known as "LACC" and is often described as "A convention created by fans, for fans."Originally founded as an event to showcase local Los Angeles talent, the first Comikaze Expo in 2011 primarily featured local artists, comic book publishers and dealers, and various celebrity appearances including horror icon Elvira. The convention has grown since then to include a wider variety of entertainment and popular cultures including fantasy, horror, comic books, manga, western animation, toys, and video games. The Con has grown in size every year, starting with 35,000 attendees in 2011 and expanding to over 123,000 attendees in 2019. The convention has drawn big names to match its big crowds, with celebrities like Elijah Wood, Ron Perlman, Gabriel Iglesias, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and Gerard Way attending in years' past.

The Los Angeles Convention Center is a convention center in the southwest section of downtown Los Angeles. It hosts multiple annual conventions and has often been used as a filming location in TV shows and movies.

Anime Expo, abbreviated AX, is an American anime convention held in Los Angeles, California and organized by the non-profit Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA). The convention is traditionally held annually on the first weekend of July, spanning the course of four days. Anime Expo is regularly hosted at the Los Angeles Convention Center but has also been held in other cities such as Anaheim, San Jose, New York, and Tokyo. Anime Expo is currently the largest North American anime convention as of 2017.

The LA Art Show (Los Angeles Art Show) is an international encyclopedic art exhibition which was originally conceived by the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA). The show annually takes place in Los Angeles at the end of January and is now a seminal part of Los Angeles Arts Month. It is the largest art fair on the West Coast.The LA Art Show began in 1995, at the Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, CA; then moved to the John Wooden Center on the campus of UCLA; then on to Santa Monica’s Barker Hanger before making its final home at the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2009.In 2012 The LA Art Show was purchased by the Palm Beach Show Group and since its inception has been managed by KR Martindale Show Management.

The Grand Olympic Auditorium is a former sports venue in southern Downtown Los Angeles, California. The venue was built in 1924 at 1801 South Grand Avenue, now just south of the Santa Monica Freeway. The grand opening of the Olympic Auditorium was on August 5, 1925, and was a major media event, attended by such celebrities as Jack Dempsey and Rudolph Valentino. One of the last major boxing and wrestling arenas still in existence, the venue now serves as a worship space for the Korean-American evangelical church, "Glory Church of Jesus Christ".

Grand/LATTC station is an at-grade light rail station on the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is located in the median of Washington Boulevard at its intersection with Grand Avenue, after which the station is named, along with Los Angeles Trade–Technical College (LATTC). One of the station's exits leads directly to the LATTC campus. The station also has nearby stops for the J Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system, southbound buses stop at the intersection of Flower Street and Washington Boulevard, one block to the west of the station, and northbound buses stop at the intersection of Figueroa Street and Washington Boulevard, two blocks to the west. In addition to the LATTC campus, the station also serves the South Los Angeles neighborhood.

The Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament is an annual outdoor 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 basketball tournament held at Los Angeles, California, and in the event venue L.A. Live.It is the largest outdoor 3-on-3 tournament in California, with over 1,500 teams, 5,000 players, and 25,000 spectators attending the event every year, and was first started in 2008. In 2018 and 2017, the winners of the elite division for men and women were able to participate in the official 2018 and 2019 USA Basketball 3×3 National Tournament, and will have a chance to win $20,000 in prize money and advances to the FIBA 3X3 World Tour Nanjing Masters in China. Ryan Golden, Commissioner of the Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament said “We’re thrilled that our tournament continues to attract talent throughout the country in addition to the attention of FIBA, who this year, designated the men’s Nike Elite Division an official FIBA 3X3 Satellite Tournament,” and, “It’s an exciting time for 3x3 basketball, and even more so to realize that players from our tournament could potentially represent the USA in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.”The tournmaent was however cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, in compliance with COVID-19 social gathering guidelines.

Los Angeles Trade–Technical College (L.A. Trade–Tech) is a public community college in Los Angeles, California. It offers academic courses towards 4-year colleges and vocational training programs. It is part of the Los Angeles Community College District and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges, The American Culinary Federation, and the National League of Nursing among others.The 25-acre campus is located just south of the Historic Core of Los Angeles. The campus is served by the Metro Busway J Line, Grand/LATTC Station of the Metro Rail A Line and the LATTC/Ortho Institute of the E Line and is approximately one mile north of the University of Southern California.

The John B. Kane Residence is a two-story Queen Anne-Eastlake Victorian house located in West Adams, Los Angeles on Bonsallo Avenue. Built 1892–1893, the house was designated Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument #500 in June 1990.
