The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH), is an art museum located in the Houston Museum District of Houston, Texas. With the recent completion of an eight-year campus redevelopment project, including the opening of the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building in 2020, it is the 12th largest art museum in the world based on square feet of gallery space. The permanent collection of the museum spans more than 6,000 years of history with approximately 70,000 works from six continents.

The Last of the Tribes is a neo-classical sculpture by Hiram Powers (1805–1873). The sculpture was modelled between 1867 and 1872 from marble and depicts a partially nude, young Native American girl walking with her head turned slightly to one side. It was Hiram Powers' last full-length sculpture. While Powers also produced many busts, he was noted for his full-lengths, especially his sculptures entitled Eve and The Greek Slave, both of which are nude. At the time, nude and partially nude sculptures and paintings were frowned upon and Powers received criticism from most of society for his work, but his art was and still is enjoyed by the majority of those who see it. The Last of the Tribes has been on public display at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston since 2001. The Last of the Tribes drew more attention recently when it was part of The United States Academic Decathlon 2003-2004 curriculum. The focus for that year was on the Lewis and Clark Expedition and Native Americans.

The Large Horse (French: Le Grand cheval) is a 1914-31 bronze sculpture by French artist Raymond Duchamp-Villon, installed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's (MFAH) Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden in Houston, Texas, in the United States.

Adam is an 1889 sculpture by Antoine Bourdelle.

Recuerdo de Machu Picchu 3 (Las terrazas) (English: Memory of Machu Picchu 3 (The Terraces)), is an outdoor 1984 oxidized iron sculpture by Colombian artist Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar, installed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden, in the U.S. state of Texas. The sculpture was purchased by the museum with funds provided by the Caribbean Art Fund and the Caroline Wiess Law Accessions Endowment Fund. It measures 55 1/8 x 114 3/16 x 41 5/16 inches.

Two Circle Sentinel is an outdoor 1961 stainless steel sculpture by David Smith, installed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden in the U.S. state of Texas. It was purchased using monetary contributions provided by the Brown Foundation Accessions Endowment Fund in memory of Alice Pratt Brown.

Large Standing Woman I (French: Grande femme debout I) is a bronze sculpture created by Alberto Giacometti in 1960. The outdoor sculpture is installed in the Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, located in Houston, Texas.

Arch Falls is an outdoor 1981 bronze sculpture by American artist Bryan Hunt, installed at the Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in Texas. The sculpture rests on a limestone base. It was gifted by the Charles Engelhard Foundation.

Big Twist is an outdoor 1978 bronze sculpture by American artist Bryan Hunt, installed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden, in the U.S. state of Texas.

Flora, Nude (French: La Flore, nue) is a sculpture by French artist Aristide Maillol.

The Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden is a sculpture garden located at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) in Houston, Texas, United States. Designed by artist and landscape architect Isamu Noguchi, the garden consists of 25 works of the MFAH, including sculptures by Henri Matisse, Alexander Calder, David Smith, Frank Stella, and Louise Bourgeois. There are also sculptures created specifically for the site, including Ellsworth Kelly's Houston Triptych and Tony Cragg's New Forms. The garden also features works by local Texas artists, including Joseph Havel's Exhaling Pearls, Jim Love's Can Johnny Come Out and Play?, and Linda Ridgway's The Dance.
