Mamak railway station is a railway station in Ankara, Turkey, on the Başkentray commuter rail line.

Altındağ is a metropolitan district of Ankara Province in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey, part of the city of Ankara. According to the 2000 census, the population of the district is 407,101, of which 400,023 live in the urban center of Altındağ. The district covers an area of 175 km2 (68 sq mi), and the average elevation is 850 m (2,789 ft).

The Cebeci Asri Cemetery (Turkish: Cebeci Asri Mezarlığı) is a cemetery located in the Cebeci quarter of central Ankara, Turkey serving multiple religions. It was the first modern burial place in the capital city, and is the final resting place of many prominent figures. As of 2005, the total number of graves in the Cebeci Asri Cemetery was 220,000, with 121,000 for males and 99,000 for females. The burial rate was two per day. Administered by the municipality, it is the second largest cemetery in Ankara after Karşıyaka Cemetery.

Köstence railway station (Turkish: Köstence istasyonu) is a railway station in Ankara, Turkey, on the Başkentray commuter rail line. The original station was built in 1970 by the Turkish State Railways and entered service in 1972 as a station on the Ankara suburban. The first station consisted of an island platform with two tracks.In 2016, the station was closed, demolished and rebuilt to accommodate higher capacity. The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, with two more tracks on the south side for intercity and high-speed trains. Köstence was reopened on 12 April 2018.

Gaziantep station is a station in Gaziantep, southeastern Turkey. Politicians claim a high speed train will stop here.

Ankara University Medical School is a medical school affiliated with Ankara University and located in the Sıhhiye of Ankara, Turkey, was established in 1945 as the second medical school in the country. The opening of this institution was prompted by the inability of Istanbul University Medical School to meet the growing demand for trained medical professionals. According to the QS World University Rankings, Ankara Medical School is ranked as the third-best medical school in Turkey.

Abidinpaşa is a town in Mamak District, in southeastern Ankara Province, Turkey. The town takes its name from a pasha by the name of Abidin. He was assigned an Ottoman administrator in Ankara around the mid-1800s. He used to like fresh air, therefore he had his mansion (governor building) built in modern Abidinpaşa, which is a place on top of the one of the highest hills in Ankara. The area, where the mansion is, is a public park and the mansion serves as an historical place to tourists today. One of the largest hospitals in Ankara Province, the Ankara University Hospital, is located in the town.

The Balgat massacre (Turkish: Balgat katliamı) of 10 August 1978 was a mass shooting targeting 3 coffeehouses known with their left-wing customers in Çankaya, Ankara in which 5 died and 14 were injured. The massacre was ordered by Abdullah Çatlı. 2 people, Mustafa Pehlivanoğlu and İsa Armağan, were arrested related to the incident. Pehlivanoğlu was executed on 7 October 1980 and Armağan escaped from prison. He was caught in 1995 and was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment. However, he was released after 7 years. According to some idealist sources, Mustafa Pehlivanoğlu was a victim of false accusation and had no connections to the incident.

Dikimevi is an underground station and the eastern terminus of the Ankaray line of the Ankara Metro in Çankaya. It is located under Cemal Gürsel Avenue in Cebeci, three blocks south of Cebeci station. Dikimevi station consists of two side platforms and opened on 30 August 1996, together with the Ankaray line. The line was originally planned to be extended further east in Mamak, however these plans never took place.

Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage (Turkish: uhsin Ertuğrul Sahnesi) is a theatre venue in Ankara, Turkey. It is owned by Mamak Municipality and operated by the Turkish State Theatres. It is named in honour of the Turkish stage actor and director Muhsin Ertuğrul (1892–1979). The theatre is situated inside the Mamak Cultural Center (Turkish: Mamak Kültür Merkezi) on Talatpaşa Boulevard 167 at Dikimevi, Mamak, Ankara. The interior was renovated and the technical infrastructure was modernized by preserving the theatre's historic texture. The auditorium has a total seating capacity of 288, including 50 box seats.The theatre is generally home to performances of municipal actors, choirs and folk dance groups. It hosts also activities of local foundations, associations and schools. It is among the official venues of Turkish State Theatres.
