North Boondall railway station is located on the Shorncliffe line in Queensland, Australia. It is one of two stations serving the Brisbane suburb of Boondall, the other being Boondall station.

Boondall State School is an independent public primary school located in Brisbane, Queensland, in the suburb of Boondall. It is operated by the Queensland Government. Today it has 680 primary students from prep to grade 6.

Sandgate District State High School (SDSHS) is a secondary school located in Deagon, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It educates grade levels seven to twelve. It was opened in January 1959 but the first classes – five, A1, A2, B1, C1 and C2 were conducted in the Sandgate Town Hall, on the floor and on the stage, because the first school building (F block) was not yet ready for occupation. Foundation students designed the school badge. Every part of the design has meaning. The motto Industria Floremus translates to "hard work brings success", or more literally "through industry we flourish". Latin was taught as a language in the early years of the school. The shield and the boomerang (on which the motto is printed) indicate the association of early Sandgate with the Aboriginal Australian people who roamed the area and featured in its early development. The ibis, a common local bird, has also been associated with Sandgate since its early development. Early in the 21st century, local business people created from the letters of its name the rubric "I believe in Sandgate", a phrase often used in references to the school.

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in the Brisbane suburb of Boondall, Queensland, Australia. The centre is managed by ASM Global. The centre also houses a sporting complex and small function rooms which are available to hire for wedding reception and business functions. The centre's large audience capacity is mostly used for the staging of concerts and musical theatre shows. It has also staged ice-skating shows, including Disney On Ice. The Entertainment Centre was also the filming venue for all three series of the original Australian series of Gladiators in 1995.

The 2001 Goodwill Games was the fifth and final edition of the international multi-sport event. The competition was held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia from 29 August to 9 September 2001. A total around 1300 athletes took part in 14 sporting competitions.The small scale opening ceremony was held at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall and featured The Corrs and Keith Urban. There was a live audience of 10,000 and the ceremony was broadcast live to an international audience of 450 million viewers.The Goodwill Bridge, a pedestrian and cyclist bridge spanning the Brisbane River, is named after the games.

The Buildings of St Joseph's College, Nudgee is a heritage-listed group of school buildings at St Joseph's College, Nudgee at 2199 Sandgate Road, Boondall, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. They were built from 1891 to c. 1960. The school is also known as Nudgee College and St Joseph's Nudgee College. The buildings added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 6 November 2006.

Drew Residence is a heritage-listed detached house at 20 Wharf Street, Shorncliffe, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Samuel Drew and built from 1890s to 1940s by Samuel Drew. It is also known as Samuel Drew's House and the Captain's House. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 24 November 2000.
