Al Thumama (Doha)

Al-Thumama Stadium (Arabic: ملعب الثمامة, romanized: Malʿab ath-Thumāma) is a football stadium in Al Thumama, Qatar. It is a venue for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.The stadium is located about 20 km south of Doha.

Zone 50 is a zone of the municipality of Ad Dawhah in the state of Qatar.

Old Airport (Arabic: المطار العتيق; also referred to as Al Matar Al Qadeem) is an area of Doha, Qatar. The district is located close to the site of Doha's old international airport servicing Qatar before the construction of the Hamad International Airport. Running through the district is Al Matar Al Qadeem Street (known in English as Old Airport Street), around which many businesses and retailers cater to the residents of the area. The first mall constructed in Qatar is also located within the district, next to the congested Najma roundabout.

In the final round of matches of the final round of Asian qualification for the 1994 FIFA World Cup, Japan and Iraq drew 2–2 in Doha, Qatar. If Japan had won the match, they would have qualified for the World Cup for the first time. Instead, Japan finished third in their group, allowing their arch-rivals South Korea to qualify instead. The Japanese refer to the match as the "Agony of Doha" (Japanese: ドーハの悲劇, romanized: Dōha no higeki), whereas South Koreans, because the country's national football team only qualified in the final minutes of this match, refers to it as the "Miracle of Doha" (Korean: 도하의 기적, romanized: Doha-ui gijeok). The failure to qualify for the World Cup, and the dramatic way in which it happened, caused great disappointment for Japanese fans. Football had become very popular in Japan with the launch of the professional J.League earlier that year and the team had never been that close to qualifying for the World Cup. Although Japan has since qualified for seven consecutive World Cup finals (even co-hosting one), team members from this match are still known as the "Class of Doha" (ドーハ組, Dōha gumi) and the phrase "Never forget Doha" (ドーハを忘れるな, Dōha o wasureruna) remains a rallying cry for fans.

Al Hilal ash Sharqiyah is a settlement in Qatar, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah.

Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Doha, Qatar. It is the home ground of Al Ahli SC (Doha) and Al-Sailiya SC. The stadium holds 18,000 people. In addition to QSL matches, the stadium also hosts regular track and field meets.

Nuaija (Arabic: نعيجة, romanized: Nu‘ayjah) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah. One of Nuaija's zones, Zone 41, was formerly known as Al Hilal West but was incorporated into Nuaija as of the 2010 census. Municipal authorities are developing district as a major mixed-use hub for south-central Doha.

Oqba Ibn Nafie station is a station on Doha Metro's Red Line and serves Old Airport district in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rosary (Arabic: كنيسة سيدة الوردية) is a Catholic church in Doha, Qatar. It is located, along with churches of other Christian denominations, at the Religious Complex in Abu Hamour. It is the first church built in the country since the Muslim conquests in the 7th century.The church was constructed at a cost of around $20 million on land donated by the Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Due to the laws in Islamic Qatar, the church displays no Christian symbols like crosses, bells, or a steeple on its exterior.The church was dedicated on 14 March 2008, by Cardinal Ivan Dias, prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation, in a ceremony attended by Qatari Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah; Archbishop Mounged Al Hachem, the ambassador of the Holy See to the Gulf; Bishop Paul Hinder, Apostolic Vicariate of Arabia; Archbishop Giuseppe Andrea, former nuncio of the Holy See to the region; and several Qatari officials.The church is part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia and serves around 200,000 Catholics in Qatar, most of them migrant workers from the Philippines, India, South America, Africa, Lebanon and Europe.

Free Zone station is a station of the Doha Metro's Red Line. It serves the Al Wakrah Municipality, namely Al Wakrah City, Ras Abu Fontas and Barwa Village. It is located near Airforce Interchange, which is the crossing of F Ring Road and Al Wakrah Road.

Doha International Air Base (Doha IAB) is a airbase of the Qatar Emiri Air Force located at the Doha International Airport, Doha, Qatar which operated officially from 1991 to 1993 and from 1996. The base was also used by the United States Armed Forces as Camp Snoopy.
