Saint Bernard's High School was a private, Roman Catholic high school in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The High School, along with an elementary school that served pre-kindergarten to eighth grade, also closed, were both part of the Church of Saint Bernard, which is adjacent to the former school building (now used to house the Community School of Excellence). The Parish and Grade School were founded in 1891, with the high school being opened in 1957.

Arlington Senior High School was a public high school in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was located in the city's North End neighborhood, north of Downtown Saint Paul. Arlington opened on September 3, 1996, and was the districts first new high school since Humboldt Senior High School opened twenty years earlier.By 2010, the school enrolled only 875 students in grades 9–12, despite having operated near its capacity of 2,000 most of the years it was open. The school consistently served a population that was around 95% students of color, 50-60% ELL, and 90-95% students on free/reduced price lunch. The school was closed after the 2010–2011 school year. Arlington was the only high school in Saint Paul with no attendance boundaries and enrolled students from throughout the city. Beginning in the 2009 school year, the school's main educational focus was "Bio-SMART," a program that emphasizes bioscience and the use of technology in health care. The school offered several Advanced Placement classes as well as several College in the Schools classes, in conjunction with the University of Minnesota. Following the schools closure, Washington Middle School took over the school grounds and the school is now known as the Washington Technology Magnet School, hosting grades 6-12 and continuing the Bio-SMART program, fulfilling the ultimate goal of Arlington Senior High School.

The Church of Saint Bernard is a Roman Catholic parish in the North End neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The brick church was designed by John Jager and built 1905–1914 in the Prairie School and Art Nouveau styles. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The parish formerly included a private school, Saint Bernard's High School, which closed in 2010 due to declining enrollment.

The Ann Charlotte and Jacob Hinkel House is a house listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was built by ice-dealer Jacob Hinkel in 1873 two miles north of downtown, in a rural area in what was New Canada township; the rural route was named after Horace J. Brainerd (1825-1902) an influential property-owner and politician.

Community of Peace Academy (CPA) is a chartered public school located in the East Side of Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Founded in 1995 by Dr. Karen Rusthoven, this former K-5 school has now grown to be a PreK-12 school with around 800 students. The school participates in the University of Minnesota's College in the Schools program.

They served the Saint Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba Railway, which later became part of the Great Northern Railway.The buildings, located just west of the Minnesota Transportation Museum roundhouse, have been redeveloped by the Saint Paul Port Authority and are now known as the Empire Builder Business Center. The Minnesota Transportation Museum (MTM, reporting mark MNTX) is a transportation museum in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. MTM operates several heritage transportation sites in Minnesota and one in Wisconsin. The museum is actively involved in preserving local railroad, bus and streetcar history. MTM was formed in 1962 to save a streetcar that had been built and operated by Twin City Rapid Transit (TCRT) in Minneapolis–St. Paul. Many of the museum's early members were formerly part of the Minnesota Railfans Association, which had organized railfan trips from the 1940s to the 1960s. In 2004–2005, the organization's streetcar operations became the Minnesota Streetcar Museum, with the steamboat Minnehaha, originally built by TCRT in a style similar to its streetcars, becoming a major attraction of the Museum of Lake Minnetonka.

City Academy High School is a charter school in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The school was created a year after charter school legislation in Minnesota was passed. As a charter school, it operates independently, but is sponsored by the College of St. Catherine. On September 7, 1992, City Academy became the first charter school in the United States to open.City Academy operates in a variety of buildings in Saint Paul. The majority of classes are held at a local recreation center in Saint Paul. City Academy enrolls students 15–21 years of age who have previously dropped out of school or are not currently attending school. The school was created to aid students in at-risk demographics.

Hmongtown Marketplace is an indoor market focused on Hmong American products and culture in the Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Hmongtown is noted for its cuisine and produce, with the Star Tribune calling the food court "one of the state's top culinary gems." It is variously referred to as the Hmong Farmers Market or Hmong Flea Market, or simply "Hmongtown" to emphasize its role as a cultural hub like a Chinatown, not just a retail location.More than 200 vendors sell traditional food, clothing, and home goods especially from Hmong and Hmong American culture, including from Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. It is designed to simulate open-air markets in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Vientiane, Laos sells culturally specific fruits, vegetables, nuts, and other edible plants. Hot and ready-made food vendors sell a variety of dishes such as roast meats, boba tea, papaya salad, and bánh mì. Home goods include green market, electronics, religious supplies, and garden tools. In the summer the market nearly doubles in size with an outdoor market in the surrounding paved lot that brings the number of vendors up to 300 or more. The outdoor market is sometimes referred to as the Hmongtown Farmers Market and sells produce as well as meat, clothing and textiles, herbal medicine, live potted plants, and home products.The large size and foot traffic have led to the nickname "Hmong Mall of America". 600 people work inside, as many as 20,000 customers have been noted during events, and there is capacity for more than 300 stalls. The interior footpath complexity due to the many stalls has been described as "labyrinthine" and "byzantine". Because of the wide variety of products and services offered at Hmongtown, it is referred to as many different kinds of markets, such as a mall, a supermarket, a flea market, a farmers market, a marketplace, and a food hall.
