Sunshine Coast Theological College

Siena Catholic College, Queensland, Australia is a co-educational Catholic day college situated at Sippy Downs on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Opened in 1997, it caters for students in Years 7–12 and has an enrolment of approximately 1000 students. The college shares its campus with Siena Primary School, a Prep to Year 6 school. The College is an Archdiocesan College administered by Brisbane Catholic Education and has close links with the Stella Maris Parish, having S. Catherine's Catholic Church situated on campus.

The University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) is a public university based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. After opening with 524 students in 1996 as the Sunshine Coast University College, it was later renamed the University of the Sunshine Coast in 1999. The university has a flagship campus at Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast, with more campuses at Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast, Gympie, and Caboolture. In 2020, USC opened a full-service campus at Petrie in Moreton Bay. Undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework and higher degree by research) programs are available, with study areas divided into seven disciplines: business, IT and tourism; creative industries, design and communication; education; engineering and science; health, nursing and sport sciences; humanities, psychology and social sciences; and law and criminology. The university is listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students. In the 2020 Student Experience Survey, UniSC was ranked within the top five universities in Australia for teaching quality, and in the top six for the overall student experience.

The University of the Sunshine Coast Bus Station, at Sippy Downs, is serviced by Translink bus routes. It is located in the campus grounds at the University of the Sunshine Coast. It is in Zone 6 of the Translink integrated public transport system.

Chancellor State College is a public, co-educational, day school located in the suburb of Sippy Downs, Queensland, Australia. Chancellor State School opened in 1997. In 2004, it became Chancellor State College offering both primary and secondary education. As of 2017, there are 2889 students from prep through to year 12. Students and staff are spread across two campuses, a Primary on Scholars Drive and a Secondary on Sippy Downs Drive; Either side of the University of the Sunshine Coast. Chancellor State College has links to the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Matthew Flinders Anglican College (MFAC) is an independent Anglican co-educational primary and secondary day school located in Buderim, approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1990 and named in honour of Matthew Flinders, the college has grown from an enrolment of 160 students in its foundation year, to over 1,300 students in 2015.

UniSC Arena (previously known as USC Stadium) is a multi-purpose indoor sports facility located on the Sippy Downs campus of the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The stadium hosts netball, basketball, volleyball and futsal events for professional athletes and students. The stadium is primarily utilised by the Sunshine Coast Lightning in the Suncorp Super Netball league, who play home matches on the main court and are based at the campus.

Tanawha (pronounced /'tæn-uh-wuh/) is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. The name Tanawha is believed to be a Māori language word referring to a legendary New Zealand monster. For statistical purposes, it is regarded as a subub of Buderim.

Pioneer Cottage is a heritage-listed homestead at 5 Ballinger Crescent, Buderim, Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. It was built c. 1882. It is also known as JK Burnett (and family) residence. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Buderim ( BUH-drəm) is an urban centre on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. It sits on a 180-metre (590 ft) mountain which overlooks the southern Sunshine Coast communities. In the 2016 census, the urban area of Buderim had a population of 54,483.The name "Buderim" is usually believed to be derived from a local Kabi Kabi Aboriginal word for the hairpin honeysuckle, (Badderam) Banksia spinulosa var. collina. However, as the environment on the mountain before British occupation was one of dense rainforest not Banksia heath, the name may have come from the Yugambeh word budherahm meaning sacred or spiritual.

Buderim is the central suburb of the town of Buderim in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, the suburb of Buderim had a population of 29,355 people.It is the central suburb of the town of Buderim and comprises 63% of Buderim's urban population.

Buderim Mountain State School is a heritage-listed state school and war memorial at 8–42 Main Street, Buderim, Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Department of Public Works (Queensland) and built from 1936 to 1948. It was also known as Buderim Mountain Provisional School. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 3 May 2019.

The Mooloolah River National Park is a nationally protected area located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It covers an area of 830.9 hectares and is bordered by the Mooloolah River to the east, Claymore and Dixon Roads to the west, and the Lower Mooloolah River Environmental Reserve to the south. It is bisected by the Sunshine Motorway with the northern, 161.93 hectare component of the Park being a later addition. The Park was initially vacant crown land prior to national park designation in 1960. Surrounding land uses include livestock grazing, urban development and the campus of the University of the Sunshine Coast. It is the second largest mainland park on the coastal lowlands in South East Queensland after Noosa National Park and represents an example of low-lying coastal floodplain distinctive of the region.The Jowarra section of the Park is located at the north western corner of the intersection of Steve Irwin Way (formerly Glasshouse Mountains Road) and the Bruce Highway. It is a remnant of coastal rainforest and cut off from the main body of the Park with the only connection via the Mooloolah River itself. The Park is used for conservation and study purposes and recreationally by bushwalkers and bird watchers.
