Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) (Arabic: مدينة دبي الصحية) is a healthcare free economic zone situated in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. DHCC was launched in 2002 by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. DHCC was mandated by the government to meet the demand for high-quality, patient-centered healthcare, and the main aim is to attract tourists to Dubai for medical services and treatments. Through strategic partnerships, DHCC provides a wide range of services in healthcare, medical education and research, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, wellness and allied support.DHCC comprises two phases. Phase 1 of DHCC is dedicated to healthcare and medical education and covers 4.1 million square feet. Phase 2, which is under development, is dedicated to wellness, and will cover 19 million square feet.In 2014 alone, visits to DHCC were up 20 percent to 1.2 million from 1 million in 2013, of which 15 percent were medical tourists. According to DHCC, the most popular procedures sought by medical tourists to DHCC include infertility, cosmetic and dental treatments. Most medical tourists came to the DHCC from the Gulf Cooperation Council area (37 percent) and wider Arab world (25 percent), though 20 percent came from Europe and 18 from Asia.

Jumeirah Creekside Park is a group of two towers in Dubai Healthcare City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The towers are Jumeirah Creekside Park Residence and Jumeirah Creekside Park Hotel. Jumeirah Al Khor Residence is the taller of the two with 43 floors, standing at 172 metres (564 ft). The other tower has a height of 140 metres (460 ft), with 35 floors. Construction was expected to be completed in 2008 but is now on hold. The two towers will be managed by the Dubai-based hotelier Jumeirah. The hotel tower will contain 439 rooms and suites while the residential tower will have 406 apartments.

Dubai Healthcare City (aka Dubai Health Care City and Healthcare City, Arabic: مدينة دبي الصحية) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Dubai Healthcare City.The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. The Green Line was extended beyond this station to connect Al Jadaf and Creek stations on 1 March 2014.The station is close to Wafi City, the Wafi Mall, the Khan Murjan Souk, Creek Park, Dubai Children's City, and the Dubai Dolphinarium.

Dubai Dolphinarium is the first fully air-conditioned indoor dolphinarium in the Middle East, providing habitat to dolphins and seals, allowing the public to watch and interact with them through live shows and photo sessions. It is located in the creek side park at Bur Dubai near the Children's City. Dubai Dolphinarium was opened on May 21, 2008 by Dubai Municipality, and is sponsored and supported by Dubai government to provide the general public with entertainment and also educate them regarding dolphins, seals and other marine organisms. It was also reflected that interacting with such friendly mammals like dolphins will motivate young generation to protect marine life and the environment.

Al Garhoud (Arabic: القرهود, al-qarhūd) is a commercial and residential zone. It is near Mirdif and it is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Al Garhoud is close to Dubai International Airport and therefore preferred by Emirates Airline pilots as a living place. The Emirates Aviation College is also situated in Al Garhoud. The roads around Al Garhoud are notorious for their traffic. People generally leave out the 'Al' part of Al Garhoud and call it Garhoud. The Emirates Airline/Emirates Group head office is in Garhoud. Daallo Airlines has its head office in the airport Free Zone.

WAFI is a mixed-use development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The complex includes a mall, hotel, restaurants, residences, and a nightclub. The "city" is styled after Ancient Egypt. This themed environment includes columns reminiscent of Karnak, small pyramids, and images of pharaohs. The walls are the colour of the light brown stone that can be found on structures in Ancient Egypt.

Wafi Mall is one of the oldest malls in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mall is in the Wafi City complex that also includes a Raffles Dubai 5-star hotel in the shape of a pyramid, restaurants, residences, a nightclub, and a spa/leisure club, themed around the style of Ancient Egypt. The mall includes an Arabian-style Khan Murjan Souk, Carrefour hypermarket, and a Samal department store. The mall opened in 1991, and includes over 300 stores. It features stained glass ceilings in an Islamic style. The mall features a visa application centre. Free Wi-Fi is available in the mall, provided by du. In 2007, a gang of masked gunmen rammed two cars into shops at the mall, later set on fire, stealing cash and diamonds worth 14.7 million Dirhams. Later they were arrested in Europe and returned to Dubai. One gang member was later found dead in their cell.

Grand Hyatt Dubai is a hotel in the area of Umm Hurair in Dubai, United Arab Emirates established in 2003; at the time its 682 rooms made it the largest hotel in Dubai. The restaurant serves Arabic cuisine. The Grand Hyatt Dubai is one of the Hyatt hotels. Zabeel is between Dubai Airport and the new developments in Dubai which is usually referred to as "new Dubai". The hotel lobby has an indoor rainforest, which, according to an Economist travel writer, had mixed results in injecting atmosphere.With more than 8,000 square meters, the hotel has one of the largest hotel convention centers in the city with the largest ballroom being able to host event with up to 2,500 people.

St. Mary's Catholic High School (SMCHS) was established in the year 1968 by Fr. Eusebius Daveri. It is located in the city of Dubai, and is one of the oldest schools in the UAE. Affiliated with the church, the school has a very evident Catholic background.

The Iranian Club Dubai (Arabic: النادي الإيراني دبي; Persian: باشگاه ایرانیان دبی) is a social club complex located in the Oud Metha area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is funded by the Iranian government and is run by the Iranian community in Dubai.
