The Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Istanbul (Chinese: 中华人民共和国驻伊斯坦布尔总领事馆; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Rénmín Gònghéguó zhù Yīsītǎnbù'ěr Zǒnglǐngshìguǎn, Turkish: Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti İstanbul Başkonsolosluğu) is a diplomatic mission representing China located in Istanbul. Opened in 1985, it serves the city as well as surrounding areas. The consulate has been the site of protests because of the Xinjiang conflict and the Chinese government's treatment of the Uyghurs, with the Uyghur genocide leading to increased protesting. The Chinese government has also alleged that East Turkestan independence movement extremists bombed the consulate in 1998.

Sultan Mahmut Fountain (Turkish: Sultan Mahmut Çeşmesi) is a historical public fountain in Istanbul, Turkey. The fountain is located in Kireçburnu neighborhood of Sarıyer secondary municipality by Bosphorous. It was commissioned by Ottoman sultan Mahmut II (reigned 1808–1839) in 1814. Its ornamental slab as well as the inscription is made of marble. The inscription includes a tughra of the sultan. The inscription was written by Yesarizade Mustafa Izzet Efendi.Presently, the fountain is out of use.

Lycée Français Pierre Loti d'Istanbul and Tarabya British Schools both have high school campuses in Tarabya.

Hacıosman is an underground rapid transit station and northern terminus of the M2 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in southern Sarıyer under Tarabya Bayırı Avenue. Hacıosman was opened on 29 April 2011 as a northern extension of the M2 to service neighborhoods in Sarıyer. It has an island platform serviced by two tracks.

Huber Mansion is one of the historical buildings in Yeniköy, Istanbul, Turkey. Built in the late 19th century, it was used as a private residence until 1930 when it was sold to Notre Dame Sion High School. The mansion was nationalized in 1985 and has been used as the residence of the Presidents of Turkey since then.

Türkmenbaşı Nature Park (Turkish: Türkmenbaşı Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in Sarıyer district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Situated west of Hacı Osman Bayırı Avenue in the PTT Evleri neighborhood of Büyükdere in the district of Sarıyer, it covers an area of 5.6 ha (14 acres). It was established in 1998 as a place, to dignify the cultural values shared by Turkey and Turkmenistan. It was named "Turkmenbashi" (literally: Head of Turkmens), in honor of Saparmurat Niyazov (1940–2006), the leader of Turkmenistan.The nature park offers outdoor recreation activities such as hiking and picnicing for visitors on daily basis. There is a playground for children.
