Jumbo- Flamingo shopping centre (Finnish: Kauppakeskus Jumbo- Flamingo), commonly referred to as simply Jumbo, is a shopping center in Vantaa, Finland. With its gross leasable area of 86,100 square metres (927,000 sq ft), it is the second largest shopping and entertainment center in the Nordics.Jumbo was completed in October 1999. It currently employs approximately 1,500 people. It has two hypermarket chains: Prisma (owned by S Group) and K-Citymarket (owned by Kesko).

Aviapolis is a business, retail, entertainment, and housing marketing brand area in central Vantaa, Finland, covering roughly 40 square kilometres (15 sq mi), including Finland's main airline hub and airport, Helsinki Airport. The term is officially used as the name of one of the major regions of Vantaa, encompassing the districts of Lentokenttä, Pakkala, Tammisto, Veromies, Viinikkala, and Ylästö. It is Vantaa's only major region not named after a city district.

Veromies (Swedish: Skattmans) (meaning "taxman") is a city district in Vantaa, Finland. It is located in southeastern Vantaa, in the Aviapolis major region. It is situated south of Helsinki Airport and west of the Tuusulanväylä highway. To the south, Veromies borders the Pakkala district, separated by the Ring III (Finnish: Kehä III) beltway. It also borders the Viinikkala district to the west. The population of Veromies is 528 (1.1.2014), putting it among the lesser populated districts in Vantaa. Its total area is 3.5 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi), giving it a population density of 150 inhabitants per square kilometre (390/sq mi).The Veromies district includes small-scale industry, office buildings, and three hotels. The western side of the road Lentoasemantie has recently been named Virkamies (Swedish: Tjänstemans), meaning "public official".

Jumbo- Flamingo Shopping Centre is the biggest shopping and entertainment centre in the Nordic countries. It is located in Vantaa next to the Airport. Flamingo was opened in 2008 and there is a hotel, variety of entertainment activities (e.g. a movie theater, sauna, bowling, laser games, virtual experiences) and 40 different stores under its roof. Flamingo and Jumbo was merged in 2021 and is today called Jumbo- Flamingo.

Aviapolis railway station (Finnish: Aviapoliksen rautatieasema, Swedish: Aviapolis järnvägsstation) is a Helsinki commuter rail station located in the area of Aviapolis in Vantaa, Finland. It is one of the new stations of the Ring Rail Line (Kehärata), which opened in July 2015. The station is located between the stations of Kivistö and Lentoasema (Helsinki Airport). The area around the station is planned to be turned into a neighbourhood with office buildings. A bus terminal has also been planned to be built next to the station. The station is served by Helsinki Commuter Rail I- and P-line trains. Trains to Airport and Helsinki (via Tikkurila) depart from track 1 and trains towards Helsinki (via Huopalahti) depart from track 2.

The Finnish Aviation Museum (Finnish: Suomen ilmailumuseo, Swedish: Finlands flygmuseum) is a museum specialising in aircraft, located near Helsinki Airport in Veromies, Vantaa, Finland.

Kartanonkoski (Swedish: Herrgårdsforsen) is a Finnish housing suburb in the southern part of the City of Vantaa. Kartanonkoski is a part of the Pakkala district and furthermore a part of Aviapolis marketing brand area of Vantaa. The area is located on the grounds of the Backas Mansion. Located in or near the area are the International School of Vantaa, Jumbo shopping mall, and Ruutinkoski Rapids. The area is 2 kilometres away from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

Haltiala (Finnish), Tomtbacka (Swedish) is a northwestern neighborhood of Helsinki, Finland.

Torpparinmäki (Finnish), Torparbacken (Swedish) is an area in Helsinki, Finland, and in turn part of the Greater Helsinki area. Torpparinmäki is a residential area, situated north of Kehä I.

Suunto Oy is a Finnish company that manufactures and markets sports watches, dive computers, compasses and precision instruments. Headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, Suunto employs more than 300 people worldwide, and its products are sold in over 100 countries. Although globally active, the headquarters is placed next to the factory, in which most of the work stages are still handcrafted. Suunto was a subsidiary of Amer Sports, owned since 2019 by the Chinese group Anta Sports, with sister brands Wilson, Atomic, Sports Tracker, Salomon, Precor, Arc'teryx. In May of 2022, Chinese technology company Liesheng acquired Suunto from Amer Sports.The company's name comes from the Finnish word suunta, meaning "direction" or "path", or in navigation, "bearing" or "heading".

Tuomarinkylä (Swedish: Domarby) is a neighbourhood in Northern Helsinki. It comprises Haltiala, Paloheinä, Torpparinmäki and Tuomarinkartano.

The Keravanjoki (Swedish: Kervo å; the Kerava River) is a river in Finland. The 65-kilometer-long river starts from Lake Ridasjärvi in Hyvinkää, and it is a tributary of the Vantaa River that flows into the Gulf of Finland at Helsinki. As the name implies, the river runs through the town of Kerava.
