The Pinson Mounds comprise a prehistoric Native American complex located in Madison County, Tennessee, in the region that is known as the Eastern Woodlands. The complex, which includes 17 mounds, an earthen geometric enclosure, and numerous habitation areas, was most likely built during the Middle Woodland period (c. 1-500 AD). The complex is the largest group of Middle Woodland mounds in the United States. Sauls' Mound, at 72 feet (22 m), is the second-highest surviving mound in the United States. The Pinson Mounds are now part of Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park, one of two archaeological parks in Tennessee (the other being Old Stone Fort near Manchester). Pinson Mounds is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Five Points is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Tennessee, United States. Five Points is located on Tennessee State Route 197 10.6 miles (17.1 km) southeast of Jackson.

Henderson is a city in and the county seat of Chester County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 6,309 at the 2010 census, up from 5,670 at the 2000 census.

The Chester County Courthouse is an historic county courthouse building located at 133 East Main Street, Court Square in Henderson, Chester County, Tennessee. Built in 1913 in the Classical Revival style of architecture. it is the third courthouse that Chester County has had, the previous ones having burned down. It is a two-story redbrick structure with a colonnaded front portico and a cupola in the center of its gabled roof. The original building has been added onto with an architecturally complementary extension on the rear. In 1973, it was featured in the movie Walking Tall, based on the life of McNairy County sheriff Buford Pusser. On March 26, 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The National Teachers' Normal and Business College Administration Building, at 158 E. Main St. in Henderson, Tennessee, was built in 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.It was designed by Memphis architect Hubert T. McGee in Renaissance and/or Italianate style.It was a main building of the National Teachers' Normal and Business College, which was incorporated in 1907 as a successor of the West Tennessee Christian College, itself the successor of the Henderson Male and Female Institute. A. G. Freed served as president and N. B. Hardeman served as vice-president; the college was renamed for them in 1919 and eventually became the Freed-Hardeman University in 1990. The entire structure (aka, Old Main) underwent a thorough renovation which was completed in 2019.

Freed–Hardeman University is a private university associated with the Churches of Christ and located in Henderson, Tennessee, USA. It is primarily undergraduate and residential, enrolling full-time students of traditional college age. The university also serves some commuting, part-time and adult students on-campus and through distance-learning programs. The university offers a limited number of masters' and doctoral-level graduate programs including Bible, business, counseling and education. Arts, science and professional degrees are conferred. The university is governed by a board of trustees, all of whom are required to be members of Churches of Christ. Courses are offered by 12 academic departments organized into five colleges: Arts and Sciences, Biblical Studies, Business, Education and Behavioral Sciences and the Honors College.

Licensed to Henderson, Tennessee, United States, the station is owned by Thomas Radio, LLC.In 2015, the station transitioned from an adult contemporary music format to a hot AC music mix. As of January 2021, though, the station had returned to its former mainstream AC format.

Chester County High School is a high school (grades 9–12) in Henderson, Chester County, Tennessee. It is the only high school operated by Chester County School District and is fed by Chester County Junior High School.

South Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee is a public high school, part of the Jackson-Madison County School System school system. It was created in 1956 by the consolidation of Pinson High School, Malesus High School, J.B. Young High School and Mercer High School. In 1992 they absorbed the students of West High School (Jackson, Tennessee) when it was abolished as part of the merger of the Jackson and Madison County school systems.

The Deberry-Hurt House is a historic house in Madison County, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built for Mathias Deberry in 1823. It was expanded by his son-in-law, Robert B. Hurt, in 1855. By 1922, it belonged to Hurt's granddaughter, Elizabeth Hurt Leeper.The house was designed in the Federal architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 8, 1980.
