Račna Karst Field

Velika Račna (pronounced [ˈʋeːlika ˈɾaːtʃna]; German: Großratschna) is a village in the Municipality of Grosuplje in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. Kopanj Hill rises 70 m above the village to the north; geologically, the hill is a mix of karst limestone and dolomite. The hamlet of Kopanj is located on Kopanj Hill.
