Bethlem Museum of the Mind

The Bethlem Gallery is an art gallery in Beckenham, Bromley, England. It was established in 1997 to support and exhibit artists who are current or former patients of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The gallery is housed in an Art Deco building shared with the Bethlem Museum of the Mind, with exhibits about the history of Bethlem Royal Hospital. The small gallery team supports and encourages artists who may feel excluded from artistic endeavour otherwise. The gallery provides facilities for collaboration, experimentation, and skills exchange.

The National Psychosis Unit is a national treatment centre for patients with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, in the United Kingdom. The unit is a tertiary referral centre in the National Health Service. It is located at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. It is closely affiliated to the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, and forms part of the Psychosis Clinical Academic Group of King's Health Partners.

Bethlem Royal Hospital, also known as St Mary Bethlehem, Bethlehem Hospital and Bedlam, is a psychiatric hospital in London. Its famous history has inspired several horror books, films and TV series, most notably Bedlam, a 1946 film with Boris Karloff. The hospital is closely associated with King's College London and, in partnership with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, is a major centre for psychiatric research. It is part of the King's Health Partners academic health science centre and the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre for Mental Health. Founded in 1247, the hospital was originally near Bishopsgate just outside the walls of the City of London. It moved a short distance to Moorfields in 1676, and then to St George's Fields in Southwark in 1815, before moving to its current location in Monks Orchard in 1930. The word "bedlam", meaning uproar and confusion, is derived from the hospital's nickname. Although the hospital became a modern psychiatric facility, historically it was representative of the worst excesses of asylums in the era of lunacy reform.

Orchard Park High School (formerly Edenham High School) is an 11–18 mixed, secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Shirley, Croydon, Greater London, England. It was formerly a foundation school and became an academy in September 2015. It adopted its present name in September 2017 and is part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust.

Eden Park railway station serves Eden Park in the London Borough of Bromley in south east London, in Travelcard Zone 5. It is therefore possible to use an Oyster card at the station. It is 12 miles 34 chains (20.0 km) down the line from London Charing Cross. The station and all trains serving it is operated by Southeastern on the Hayes line. The trains are electric, powered by a third rail. Opened in 1882 by the South Eastern Railway, it is the first station along the branch line from Elmers End to Hayes and still has most of its original wooden buildings, surviving an arson attempt by the suffragettes in 1913 and a partial rebuilding in 1922.

West Wickham is a suburban area of south-east London, England, in the London Borough of Bromley. It lies south of Park Langley and Eden Park, west of Hayes and Coney Hall, north of Spring Park and east of Shirley, 10.3 miles (16.6 km) south-east of Charing Cross on the line of a Roman road, the London to Lewes Way. Before the creation of Greater London in 1965, West Wickham was in Kent.

Langley Park School for Boys is a boys secondary academy school in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley, with a co-ed sixth form. On 31 March 2011, the school converted from a Foundation School to an academy and its current status is that of an "Academy Converter".

St David's Prep or St David's College is an independent junior school in West Wickham and Beckenham, which was founded in 1926.
