Gormanston railway station

The River Delvin (Irish: An Ailbhine) is a river of northern County Dublin, about 18 kilometres (11 mi) long and forming much of the Dublin-Meath boundary;: 2  it is thus largely under the responsibility of Fingal County Council, sometimes shared with Meath County Council.

Gormanston (Irish: Baile Mhic Gormáin) is a village in County Meath, Ireland. It is near the mouth of the River Delvin and the northern border of County Dublin.

Gormanston Camp (Irish: Campa Rinn Mhic Ghormáin) is a military camp in Ireland and consists of approximately 260 acres. It is used for air-ground and air-defence training. It is located between Balbriggan and Drogheda along the east coastline of Ireland in County Meath in close proximity to the M1 Motorway and Gormanston railway station.

Bremore Port is a proposed new deepwater Irish Sea port at Bremore, near Balbriggan, Ireland. It is being developed to provide an east coast deepwater port for Ireland to supplement the Drogheda and Dublin Ports. Due to funding shortfalls, a 2007 - 2011 plan for development was replaced by a plan for logistics and offshore jetties at Gormanston just over the border in Meath.It is located near the main M1 Dublin-Belfast road and rail links. The project is applying for Strategic infrastructure status (SIB).

O'Dwyers GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based at Hamlet Lane, Balbriggan, County Dublin, Ireland, serving the communities of Balbriggan, Balrothery, Balscadden and surrounding areas. Its principal grounds are at Bremore Park, but it also has grounds at Bells Field, Balbriggan, opposite the club house. The club operates a "skills camp" on a Saturday morning for five- to eight-year-olds, indoors during winter. The club plays football at U-8 (mixed), U-9 (mixed), U-10 (mixed), U11(mixed), U-12 (boys) and U-14 (boys). Girls football is played at U-13, U-14 and U-15. Hurling is catered for ages U-8 (mixed), U9 (mixed), U-10 (boys), U-12 (boys) and U-14 (boys). There is a juvenile camogie team, aimed at girls aged 10/12 years old. There has been some success at juvenile level, with league and cup wins. At adult level the club has one football team competing in AFL5 and the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship and one Junior hurling team (AHL9). The club also has a culture club and for part of the year, adults and juvenile members learn set-dancing on a Monday night. Also during the week, tin-whistle and fiddle classes take place in the club house.

Mosney Railway Station opened in June 1948 to serve Butlin's Holiday Camp in County Meath, Ireland and closed in the summer of 2000, the last season during which the camp operated.

Mosney Accommodation Centre (formerly Butlin's Mosney and Mosney Holiday Centre) is located in Mosney, County Meath, Ireland and is situated approximately 48 km (30 mi) from Dublin. It is probably best known as the site of a Butlin's holiday camp in the second half of the 20th century and as the site for the national finals of the Community Games. By the early 21st-century, this had been converted into an accommodation centre for asylum-seekers. The centre was served by Mosney railway station, which closed down in 2000. Currently, it ranks as the biggest earning direct provision Centre in Ireland.

Mosney (Irish: Maigh Muirí, meaning 'plain of Mairid') is a townland and village in County Meath, Ireland. It is in the civil parish of Moorechurch 35 km (22 mi) north of Dublin city centre, and 10 km (6 mi) south-east of Drogheda. It was best known as the site of a Butlin's holiday camp during the second half of the 20th century and as the site for the national finals of the Community Games. By the early 21st century, the holiday camp had been converted into an accommodation centre for asylum-seekers. The village was served by Mosney railway station until 2000. Early in the 19th century, Mosney was a manor house and part of the estate of the Peppers of Ballygarth Castle. By the mid-20th century, the house was the home of the farm steward of Mosney and was lived in by Johnny Oram whose father had been the previous farm steward.

Balscaddan (Irish: Baile na Scadán, meaning 'the town of the Herrings', also spelt Balscadden) is a village in Fingal, Ireland. It is the most northerly village of County Dublin, approx 5 km north of Balbriggan and close to the border with County Meath. Balscaddan is also the name of the townland around the village, and the civil parish of which it is part. The district has a population of under 700 people, and the area around the village is completely rural in character, although close to the expanding Balbriggan. The village is not to be confused with Balscaddan Bay which is located on Howth Head and which takes its name from the same source.

Balbriggan railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Bhaile Brigín) serves Balbriggan in County Dublin. The station is located on the Dublin to Belfast railway line. It is the northern limit of Dublin's Short Hop Zone, meaning it is the last station Leap cards are valid at. Due to a growing population, planning permission has been submitted to increase the capacity of the station.

Balbriggan (; Irish: Baile Brigín, IPA:[ˈbˠalʲəˈbʲɾʲɪɟiːnʲ]) is a coastal town in Fingal, in the northern part of the traditional County Dublin, Ireland. It is approximately 34 km north of the city of Dublin, for which it is a commuter town. The 2022 census population was 24,322 for Balbriggan and its environs, the 17th largest urban area in Ireland. The town formerly had an active textile industry, and was the site of a major episode in the Irish War of Independence.
