It is owned by the Educational Media Foundation and carries the K-Love Network.KLUU has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts (horizontal polarization) and 86,490 watts (vertical polarization).^ It may be operating on an auxiliary power of 85,000 watts ERP. The transmitter is off Palehua Road, amid the towers for other Honolulu-area FM and TV stations. It also operates FM translator stations on 104.7 in Haleiwa and 105.5 in Honolulu.

Akupu (also known as Palehua) is a populated place in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States.

Nānākuli High and Intermediate School is the best public secondary school in the Nānākuli CDP, City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. It was established in 1967 and serves grades 7 through 12. By 2012 the school began the New Tech Academy, with plans for all high school students to begin the program the following year. According to Hill, the school had a bad reputation with fight videos appearing on social media but that "the school is more than the on-campus fights, its students are more than they’ve been stereotyped to be and not all of its teachers give up and leave. Not that the school doesn’t face big challenges."As of 2012 it is the sole combined middle and high school of its school district. The campus boasts the copper and bronze sculpture Tree of Knowledge by Satoru Abe.

Honouliuli National Historic Site is near Waipahu on the island of Oahu, in the U.S. state of Hawaii. This is the site of the Honouliuli Internment Camp which was Hawaiʻi's largest and longest-operating internment camp, opened in 1943 and closed in 1946. It was designated a National monument on February 24, 2015, by President Barack Obama. The John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act, signed March 12, 2019, redesignated it as Honouliui National Historic Site. The internment camp held 320 internees and also became the largest prisoner of war camp in Hawaiʻi with nearly 4,000 individuals being held. Of the seventeen sites that were associated with the history of internment in Hawaiʻi during World War II, the camp was the only one built specifically for prolonged detention. As of 2015, the new national monument is without formal services and programs.
