Neshota River

The Devils River (also known archaically as the Manitoo River) is a small 15.8-mile-long (25.4 km) river in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. The Devils River flows primarily through Brown and Manitowoc counties and joins with the Neshota River to form the West Twin River. It is part of the 176-square-mile (460 km2) West Twin River watershed. The Ojibwe name for the river is Ma-na-to-kik-e-we-se-be, or "Stooping Spirit River." The root word Ma-na-to (or manitou) was often mistranslated as "devil" by early white settlers, which is why the river carries the name it does today.

Cherney Maribel Caves County Park is a county park located near Maribel in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States. The park occupies 75 acres along the West Twin River. Cherney Maribel Caves consists of eleven caves along a rugged cliff line that runs parallel with the West Twin River. Maribel New Hope Cave, Tartarus Cave, Sinkhole Cave and Split Rock Cave are all gated off, with visitors needing guides to visit those caves. They are gated due to past vandalism to the Speleothems, and to protect the current Speleothems.

It consists of a handful of houses and the Melnik Presbyterian Church and attached cemetery. Melnik is 5.2 miles (8.4 km) west of Mishicot. The community was named for Mělník, Czech Republic by some of the many Czech immigrants who came to Wisconsin, including Manitowoc County.

Larrabee is an unincorporated community located within the town of Gibson, in northern Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States. Larrabee is the highest-populated community within Gibson, and as such historically served as a commercial and political hub of the town; the town hall of Gibson lies less than one-half mile (0.8 km) north of the community. The community is nearly equidistant from the two nearest municipalities, with Maribel approximately 3.2 miles (5.1 km) to the west-northwest and Mishicot 3.3 miles (5.3 km) to the southeast. The center of the community is located at the crossroads of the only two highways that service it, Wisconsin Highway 147 and County Highway Q. Education within the community is provided by the Mishicot School District, the campus of which is approximately 5 miles (8 km) southeast.

The communtity was named by Dennis DeWane of Irish heritage in reference to the Irishmen who fought at Fontenoy.
