The Cheyenne Frontier Days Arena is a 19,000-seat stadium in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. It annually hosts the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, the evening Night Show, and in the past it hosted chuckwagon races of the Cheyenne Frontier Days.Concerts held at the Arena for Cheyenne (in the least populous state in the U.S.) Frontier Days include Johnny Cash in '77 and '86, Chicago in '90, Garth Brooks (from Oklahoma) in '93 and ‘21, Chris LeDoux (from Kaycee) in '97, Doobie Brothers in '02, Brad Paisley in '04, Kenny Chesney in '04, Ted Nugent in '05, Keith Urban in '06, Brooks & Dunn in '10, Luke Bryan in '13, Lady Antebellum in '14, Flo Rida and Jason Derulo in '17, and Nickelback (from Alberta) in '18.

The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. The museum was founded in 1978. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to interpreting, conserving and exhibiting the history and material culture of Cheyenne, Cheyenne Frontier Days, the State of Wyoming and the American West. The museum features the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame. Permanent exhibits include Western horse-drawn carriages and wagons, the history and memorabilia of Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo celebration, local history of Cheyenne, pioneer artifacts and clothing, and Western and folk art. The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum is home to the "World’s Largest Outdoor Rodeo and Western Celebration" with its permanent exhibit on the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days. Clayton Danks, the winner of three CFD competitions prior to 1910, is the model cowboy on the horse Steamboat on the Wyoming trademark, the Bucking Horse and Rider. The saddle which Danks won in CFD competition in 1907 was donated by his surviving family members to the museum in September 2013.Shirley E. Flynn, director of the museum from 1987 to 1991, penned the history of the Frontier Days celebration in her 1996 book Let's Go! Let's Show! Let's Rodeo! The History of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens (9 acres, 3.6 ha) are located in Lions Park in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with an associated High Plains Arboretum located five miles (8 km) northwest of Cheyenne at an elevation of 6,200 feet (1,900 m). The gardens began as a vision in 1977 to build a non-profit, solar heated greenhouse. Today, the 6,800 square foot (630 m2) conservatory consists of three greenhouses. The first is filled with tropical plants, herb and cacti gardens and a waterfall pond filled with Koi fish. The second is used primarily for growing vegetables, the third is focused on propagation of bedding plants and flowers for the botanic garden grounds and all flowers for the Cheyenne park system. Outside are many gardens featuring many flowers and cacti.

Deming Elementary School is an elementary school in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It is part of the Laramie County School District Number 1. The school was designed by Frederick Hutchinson Porter and built in 1945. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.According to its NRHP nomination, it was deemed significant for "its direct association with the growth of education in Cheyenne" and "as an example of Art Deco architecture with elements of the International Style in an educational building and as the work of a master architect, Frederick Hutchinson Porter." The building "is a substantial brick masonry structure built with community pride and permanency in mind, and which incorporates the standard designs advocated by early twentieth century educational reformers."

The Dubois Block was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. The listing included 11 contributing buildings and three non-contributing ones.It includes six houses designed by Cheyenne architect William R. Dubois.

The Wyoming Governor's Mansion is the official residence of the governor of Wyoming. The current mansion was built during 1976 in Cheyenne. The public can tour the residence Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm. There is no admission fee.

The Moore Haven Heights Historic District, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is a 100 acres (40 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. The listing included 445 contributing buildings.The district runs between Bent Ave. on the west, the eastern side of Central Ave. on the east, W. 8th Ave. on the north, and W. Pershing Boulevard on the south.According to the state of Wyoming, the district was determined "eligible as a distinct and cohesive residential area integrally associated with and representative of the significant trends that contributed to the development of the City of Cheyenne from the early twentieth century through the late 1950s. As conceived and carried out, Moore Haven Heights represented an upscale residential district constructed with well-built brick homes of a certain value with similar architectural styles to present a homogeneous appearance. Strict covenants assured that substantial brick homes were built and lots were restricted to single-family dwellings with a garage. As a result, Moore Haven Heights became an established upper-middle class neighborhood. / The district is also nominated due to the remarkable physical integrity of the residences, which reflect the changes in popular architecture in America. From the Tudor brick in the 1920s and 1930s to the one-story Ranch homes built during the 1940s and 1950s. Thus, the predominant Tudor style homes of the 1920s and 1930s gave way to the new architecture, especially after World War II. Today, a drive through the neighborhood from south to north clearly reveals the difference in architecture, lot size, and landscaping."It includes works by architects and builders including Frederick Hutchinson Porter and William H. Dubois.

The Park Addition School at 1100 Richardson Court in Cheyenne, Wyoming was built in 1921. It was designed by architect Frederick Hutchinson Porter. Due to population growth, an addition was built during the 1947–1949 school year, and the school was renamed "Chaplin School" in the honor of Miss Ruth Chaplin who served as principal from its inception until the 1952–1953 school year. At this point, and due to further growth, the city of Cheyenne made available a portion of Pioneer Park, two blocks from the school, for expansion. The new "Chaplin Annex" was finished in 1953, with another addition built in 1956. Since the new separate annex had grown to at least twice the size of the Park addition, it was renamed "Pioneer Park" school, and an effort to consolidate both schools into the new larger facility ensued. The original Park Addition building was henceforth used for school administrative offices. In 1977 the building and land was sold by the school district to a private owner, and eventually became a day care establishment called "Children's Choice Childcare Center" in the early 1980s. The Park Addition structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. As of 2016-2017 the property is under extensive restoration to return it to its glory days, and will soon be once again used.

The Churchill Public School, also known as Churchill Elementary School, is a historic school located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA. Built in 1911, it is the oldest surviving public school in Cheyenne. The school is named for James Otis Churchill, Cheyenne's superintendent of schools for nearly two decades. The prominent Cheyenne architect William Dubois gave the school a Prairie design with an American Foursquare plan. It was the first of several schools designed by Dubois in Cheyenne. The two-story brick buildinghas a stepped parapet along its flat roof.The school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Boeing United Airlines Terminal, Hangar and Fountain in Cheyenne, Wyoming were built for Boeing Air Transport between 1929 and 1934. The Louis Sullivan-influenced designs form a consistent theme in a time when Cheyenne Municipal Airport was a major air transport facility. The 1930 hangar was designed by Cheyenne architect Frederic Porter, Sr. The 1934 Art Deco fountain was designed as a memorial to early aviation history.The hangar was designed by Fredric Porter, Sr.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is the State of Wyoming's state agency charged with stewardship of the state's fish, game, and wildlife resources. The department sets fish and game regulations, including issuance of hunting and fishing licenses and enforcement of state regulations throughout the state. The department also enforces watercraft regulations and registration, along with enforcement of invasive species laws. The agency is headquartered in Cheyenne.

The Wyoming State Library is the official state library agency of Wyoming located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It is a department under Wyoming's Department of Administration & Information. The State Librarian as of 2020 is Jamie Markus.The State Library maintains a Telework Lab for state employees. They also maintain the WYLD network of member libraries within the state which allows resource sharing. They sponsor an annual Wyoming Letters About Literature contest for Wyoming students in grades 4-12.
