National Military Memorial Park (NMM Park) is a tribute by people and the government, designed by Nisha Mathew Ghosh and Soumitro Ghosh to honor the men and families of martyrs who have died in the service of the nation. National Military Memorial is located adjacent to Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park in Bangalore.Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Member of Parliament is chairman of National Military Memorial Committee. The memorial was created after long legal battle that reached Supreme Court.

Bangalore Cantonment (station code: BNC) is one of the three important railway stations serving the city of Bangalore and it is located in the locality of Vasanth Nagar and nearby to Shivajinagar. The Station started operations in 1864, with the launch of the Bangalore Cantonment – Jolarpettai train services by the Madras Railway. The train line was broad-gauge and 149 km long, connecting the Bangalore Cantonment with Vellore district. A total of 119 passenger trains start/end/pass through Bangalore Cantonment railway station. Total 499 stations are directly connected to Bangalore Cantonment railway station via these 269 passenger trains.

The Visvesvaraya Centre (better known as Visvesvaraya Towers) is a government office complex in Bangalore. The complex was built on the site of the former house of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, after his death, and gets its name from him. Initially constructed for the Life Insurance Corporation, it was later bought by the state government to house government offices.

The statue of Edward VII in Bangalore is located at Queen's Park, next to Cubbon Park, Bangalore Cantonment, at the junction of Queen's Road and Cubbon Road. The statue was unveiled on November 1919 by the then Viceroy and Governor-General of India, Frederic John Napier, Baron Chelmsford. The statue was raised out of funds raised by the residents of the Bangalore Civil and Military Station. The Statue of King Edward VII is one of the few of the original statues which were installed in British India, to still stand at its original location. The statue rises above a flowering frangipani tree. On the other end of Queen's Park is the Statue of Queen Victoria, Bangalore. The statue was designed and sculpted by Leonard Jennings of Chelsea, London.

Sree Dandu Mariamman Temple, in Shivajinagar (also called Shivajinagara) in Bangalore city, is dedicated to the deity Mariamman (the Hindu god Shakthi or Parvathi).
