The Regis School of the Sacred Heart is an elementary and middle school for boys. It is located at 7330 Westview Drive in the Spring Branch area of Houston, in the U.S. state of Texas. The boys school serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school has been single gender and non-profit since its founding and is a Houston Area Independent School. Regis is also part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. As at 2022, the school has about 277 students enrolled, and it celebrated its thirtieth anniversary during the 2021–22 school year. Regis, an independent Catholic school, is the only all-boys school of the Archdiocese to have early childhood, elementary, and middle school programs in one school. Regis is the brother school of the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart.

A member of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, it offers a college preparatory curriculum for girls.Duchesne, which enrolls girls from pre-K3 to the 12th grade, is part of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest. Duchesne is in the Memorial area and is east of the city of Hunters Creek Village.

Neon Boots Dancehall & Saloon is a Country and Western bar/honky tonk that was founded as the Esquire Ballroom in 1955 by Raymond Proske in Houston, Texas, at 11410 Hempstead northwest of downtown Houston. In the 1970s and 1980s the club was considered the main rival to Gilley's Club across town in Pasadena. The Esquire Ballroom closed in 1995 and remained unused for a number of years. The nightclub reopened as Neon Boots Dancehall & Saloon in August 2013 as the largest country and western genre bar in the Southern United States, the second largest country and western dancehall and bar in the state of Texas, and largest country and western bar in Houston. It continues to host music acts, comedy shows, charity events and more on the same stage that it used as the previous Esquire Ballroom. The venue is very welcoming to everyone and has a great mainstream following as well.On March 28, 2014, USA Today named Neon Boots one of the top ten dance halls in Texas in their "10 Great Places" series.

Founded in 1956, Awty allows its students to receive the International Baccalaureate or the French Baccalauréat, and is the only school in Houston fully accredited by the French Ministry of Education, making it the only overseas school for French national students in the Houston area. It has age three to 12th grade students. Awty is the largest international school in the United States and the largest private day school in Houston. The James M. Delmar Fieldhouse is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Houston, Texas. It is one of several Houston Independent School District’s athletics facilities. The $35.2 million facility hosts basketball and volleyball games and tournaments, as well as graduation ceremonies and other special events. The maple court floor is removable and expandable, providing use for both the 84 feet required for high school games and the 94 feet required for NCAA play. The court flooring features a star representing the HISD logo and an image of the Houston skyline. Lower level seating is retractable, allowing for additional floor space, if needed. The entrance to the arena also showcases a portion of the center court floor from the original fieldhouseThe entire area including the fieldhouse, stadium, softball and baseball fields are referred to as the Delmar-Tusa Sports Complex.

The Spring Branch School of Choice (SBSC) is an alternative school in the Spring Branch Independent School District in Spring Valley Village, Texas, United States. It serves grades 9–12. SBSC was formerly known as Spring Branch High School (SBHS), which was the first high school in the district. The high school opened in 1948 with an initial enrollment of a few hundred students. By the late 1950s and early 1960s, the school's enrollment was exceeding its capacity and causing overcrowding. In response, the school district opened Memorial High School (MHS) in 1962 on the other side of Old Katy Road. Enrollment at SBHS however, continued to grow. Another high school, Spring Woods High School, opened in 1964. Northbrook High School opened in 1974 to ease additional overcrowding at Spring Branch and Spring Woods. By the mid-1980s, a decline in the school-age population across the district caused a decrease in enrollment at all high schools in the district. The district's board of trustees voted to close both SBHS and Westchester High School at the end of the 1984–85 school year. Most students who previously attended SBHS were rezoned to Northbrook and Spring Woods. Some SBHS students were rezoned to MHS. SBSOC was then opened in the former SBHS building as an alternative school for students not suited to the district's more traditional schools. Many of the buildings that had made up SBHS were torn down in 2015 so that a new facility for the SBSC could be built in its place. A museum containing memorabilia from the former SBHS opened in October 2017 on the site of the old school's library.
