The Tren Turistico de la Sabana or Turistren runs heritage trains in Bogota, Colombia. The company runs steam trains from Bogota (Sabana railway station) to Parque and Zipaquira.

The 1938 Santa Ana air show disaster occurred on 24 July 1938 at a military review on the Campo de Marte in the Santa Ana district of Bogota, Colombia. During the review, a Curtiss Hawk II biplane of the Colombian Air Force piloted by Lieutenant César Abadia performed a stunt before crashing into a grandstand and then into the crowd. The pilot attempted to fly between the presidential stand and the stand for diplomats when he miscalculated the distance and the aircraft's wing-tip struck the diplomatic stand. The Hawk II destroyed part of the roof of the presidential stand and then careened through the crowd bursting into flames before it came to a stop upside down. Over fifty people, including civilians and soldiers were killed, and over a hundred injured. Among those in the presidential stand but uninjured were the outgoing Colombian President Alfonso López Pumarejo and his successor Eduardo Santos. Among the wounded was Misael Pastrana Borrero, a future president of Colombia.

The Nueva Granada Military University (Spanish: Universidad Militar Nueva Granada), also called UMNG, is a public, private, self-funded, national, coeducational university based in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. The university has 8 faculties, 20 undergraduate, 66 graduate programs, 9 master's degrees, 44 Diploma and 52 research programs. The university offers academic programs for part-time (also referred as "distance") education, being one of the most important nationally. In 2005 the university acquired a campus of 80 hectare in Cajicá being the third largest Latin American, this campus is being used to build new facilities for the university in order to house almost more than 30,000 students. This campus will have new high-tech buildings, rooms, laboratories, auditoriums, cafeterias, sports courts and a swimming pool. Likewise the Nueva Granada Military university acquired rights for the students to travel to campus in the Savannah train at no cost.

El Chicó is an affluent neighbourhood (barrio) in the locality of Chapinero in Bogotá, Colombia.

The Club Colombia Masters was a golf tournament co-sanctioned by the European Challenge Tour and the Tour de las Américas and was first played in 2007. The event was held at the Country Club de Bogotá, in Bogotá, Colombia. The tournament was organized by the Corporacion Internacional de Golf, managed by German Calle Jr. and Jorge Muñoz. This was the first golf tournament ever to be sanctioned by the European Challenge Tour in Colombia. In 2010 it was replaced on the schedule by the Copa Antioquia, held in Medellín.

93 Park or 93rd Street Park (Parque de la calle 93, commonly known as Parque de la 93) is a commercial and recreational park located at the 93rd Street (calle 93) in El Chicó, in the north of Bogota, Colombia. Is one of Bogota's most popular shopping, night club and restaurant areas.

The Taipei Commercial Office in Bogotá, Colombia (Chinese: 駐哥倫比亞代表處; pinyin: Zhù Gēlúnbǐyǎ Dàibiǎo Chù) (Spanish: Oficina Comercial de Taipéi en Bogotá, Colombia) represents the interests of Taiwan in Colombia in the absence of formal diplomatic relations, functioning as a de facto embassy. Until 1980, Colombia recognised Taiwan as the Republic of China, which, in addition to its embassy in Bogotá, had a consulate general in Barranquilla. In that year, it established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China.There is no longer a counterpart organisation in Taipei, although a Colombian Trade Office was established in 1993 and closed in 2002.The Office is headed by Ms Francisca Y.T.Chang (Chinese: 張幼慈; pinyin: Zhāng Yòucí; Wade–Giles: Chang Yu-tz'u), its Representative as of 2020.It also has responsibility for relations with Venezuela. These were previously handled by the Oficina Economica de Taipéi in Caracas, established in 1974, but closed in 2009, following tensions with the government of Hugo Chávez, which had close ties with the People's Republic of China and refused to renew the visas of the office's staff.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Bogotá is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Colombia. Opened in 2024, it is currently located in the barrio (neighborhood) of El Chicó, part of the locality of Chapinero in northern Bogotá.

Usaquén is the 1st locality of Bogotá, capital of Colombia. It is located in the north of the city. This district is mostly inhabited by upper middle and upper class residents. It is designated as Bogotá's #1 locality, while being a separate municipality of Cundinamarca until 1954, when it was annexed into the city. Today, Usaquén is home to more than 480,000 inhabitants as projected by 2008. The Eastern Hills form the natural border to the east.

HJCK El Mundo en Bogotá is a Colombian cultural radio station, founded 15 September 1950 and based in Bogotá. HJCK became an online-only station in 2005. HJCK was founded by intellectuals Eduardo Caballero Calderón, Hernando and Alfonso Martínez Rueda, Alfonso Peñaranda, Gonzalo Rueda Caro, Álvaro Castaño Castillo and his wife, Gloria Valencia de Castaño, as the first privately owned cultural radio station in Colombia. They bought Radio Granadina, an AM station in Bogotá (HJCK would move to FM in 1967). Its slogan, "El Mundo en Bogotá", comes after one of its first programmes, which included Gabriel García Márquez as its correspondent in Caracas.In 2000 HJCK expanded its programming, at the time devoted to classical music and cultural programmes, to include other music genres, such as blues, jazz, bossa nova, son cubano, and classic rock. The station has compiled a series of recordings with voices of famous Colombian and Latin American writers and intellectuals, known as Colección Literaria HJCK. In 2015, public network Radio Nacional de Colombia broadcast some old HJCK recording in the HJCK en la memoria programme. Due to financial problems and increasingly low ratings, HJCK had to lease its frequency to Caracol Radio in 2005. Between 2005 and 2016 its frequency and call signs were leased by Los 40 Principales, a Caracol Radio network. In late 2015 Caracol TV purchased Radial Bogotá, S. A., the company owning HJCK; it was used to expand the Bluradio network since 2016 (both companies, though having been sister companies until 2001, are no longer related). In early 2019 HJCK renewed its website, becoming a portal focused in culture, seeking to compete with Arcadia (owned by Publicaciones Semana) and El Malpensante (an independent magazine). HJCK, through Caracol TV, belongs to the Grupo Valorem conglomerate, which owns El Espectador.
