Royal Oak is an unincorporated community in Talbot County, Maryland, United States. Royal Oak is located at the intersection of Maryland Route 329 and Bellevue Road, southeast of St. Michaels.

Talbot County is located in the heart of the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the U.S. state of Maryland. As of the 2020 census, the population was 37,526. Its county seat is Easton. The county was named for Lady Grace Talbot, the wife of Sir Robert Talbot, an Anglo-Irish statesman, and the sister of Lord Baltimore.Talbot County comprises the Easton, MD Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Washington–Baltimore–Arlington, DC–MD–VA–WV–PA Combined Statistical Area. Talbot County is bordered by Queen Anne's County to the north, Caroline County to the east, Dorchester County to the south, and the Chesapeake Bay to the west.

Clay's Hope is a historic home in Bellevue, Talbot County, Maryland, United States. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, 3-bay Flemish bond brick house with the gable roof, built around 1783. Also standing on the property is an array of outbuildings including the last known tobacco house to survive in Talbot County; a frame structure built around 1800. Other structures include a smokehouse-like frame structure built as an implement storage building and an early-19th-century gable-roofed structure with built-in seats that has been converted into a gazebo. A small Harrison family cemetery is also on the property.Clay's Hope was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Bellevue is an unincorporated community in Talbot County, Maryland, United States.Bellevue lies on the north bank of the Tred Avon River, and is linked to Oxford across the river via the Oxford–Bellevue Ferry. Clay's Hope and Orem's Delight are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

St. Michael's Middle and High School (SMMHS) is a seven-year public middle school / high school in St. Michaels, Maryland, United States, in Talbot County. It is one of two public high schools in Talbot County along with Easton High School. St. Michaels High School is the smallest on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Saint Michaels Mill (also known as Quillens Mill) is a gristmill in Saint Michaels, Talbot County, Maryland first built in 1890 and expanded several times until the 1930s. Its chief product was "Just Right Flour".It is located at 100 Chew Avenue. The building architect is Arthur K. Easter. The mill is a good example of 19th century industrial architecture on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The milling equipment is original to the structure, mostly intact and still operative. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historical Places in 1982.

Crooked Intention is a historic home in St. Michaels, Talbot County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1+1⁄2-story brick dwelling, three bays wide with wings, built about 1753. A 1+1⁄2-story Flemish bond wing was added in 1956. Also on the property is the original brick smokehouse and a beaded clapboard dairy.Crooked Intention was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Oxford Historic District encompasses the peninsular portion of the town of Oxford, Maryland. Established as the site of a ferry across the Tred Avon River in 1683, the historic portion of the town occupies a peninsula between that river and Town Creek. The town did not experience any significant growth until the late 19th century, which is when most its buildings were constructed. Most of these building were, however, built in a town grid that was laid out in the 17th century. Although there are some late 18th and early 19th century buildings, late Victorian styles make up 90% of the district's building stock.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Barnaby House is a historic home in Oxford, Talbot County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, side-hall / double-pile frame house erected in 1770. It features a steeply pitched wood shingle roof marked by two shed-roofed dormers and a single-story brick-ended kitchen wing. It is one of only three 18th-century buildings remaining in Oxford.Barnaby House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
