Freewood Acres, New Jersey

The Russian Orthodox Eparchy of Eastern America and New York (Russian: Восточно-Американская и Нью-Йоркская епархия) is a diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia that is the see of its First Hierarch. The current First Hierarch is Metropolitan Nicholas (Olhovsky) since September 14th, 2022.

West Jersey and East Jersey were two distinct parts of the Province of New Jersey. The political division existed for 28 years, between 1674 and 1702. Determination of an exact location for a border between West Jersey and East Jersey was often a matter of dispute.

The Manasquan Reservoir is a source of water for municipalities and utilities, as well as a 1,204-acre (4.87 km2) park, located in Howell Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The reservoir doubles as a park that is part of the Monmouth County Park System. The park has trails, a visitor's center, a nature/environmental center, a boat launching area and several dikes for fishing, among its facilities. The reservoir itself, which is dammed from the Manasquan River, is operated by the New Jersey Water Supply Authority, which is a part of the much larger Raritan Basin Watershed. The nature trails circling around the reservoir are what makes this county park as one of the most popular hiking destinations in Central New Jersey, as the park receives over one million visitors a year. It is reachable by car and there are five parking lots, including one for vehicles hauling trailers. The park's trails are open to walkers, runners, hikers, bicyclists and equestrians.

Howell Township is a township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The township is the largest municipality in the county by total area, comprised of about 61.21 square miles (158.5 km2). It is located in the New York metropolitan area and has been a steadily growing bedroom community of New York City. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 53,537, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 2,462 (+4.8%) from the 2010 census count of 51,075, which in turn reflected an increase of 2,172 (+4.4%) from the 48,903 counted in the 2000 census.

Bergerville is an unincorporated community located within Howell Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area was originally developed as a resort bungalow community in the first half of the 20th century.The settlement is centered on the intersection of U.S. Route 9 (which runs north and south), Bergerville Road (which runs west towards Freehold Township) and Casino Drive (which runs east towards the Manasquan Reservoir). Commercial businesses line US 9 through the area and some single-family houses are located along the two main east–west roads and Fort Plains Road. Numerous condominium and town house developments are also located nearby.

Ardena is an unincorporated community located within Howell Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is located along County Route 524 near Vanderveer Road in the western part of the township. The area consists of about half farmland and half residential developments.

West Farms is an unincorporated community located within Howell Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is centered on the intersection of West Farms Road and Casino Drive, located to the west of Farmingdale and to the north of the Manasquan Reservoir. It was once home Jewish farmers who settled there in the early 20th century. The rural area is mostly made up of wooded areas with some houses and churches dotted along the two aforementioned roads. Numerous small farms are also located throughout the area.

Fairfield is an unincorporated community located within Howell Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is centered on the intersection of County Route 524 (CR 524) and Ketchum Road, where the Colonial Era Our House Tavern is located. The area includes several small businesses, township offices and schools. There are also small farms and residential developments in the area. Fairfield was a stop on the Freehold and Jamesburg Agricultural Railroad.

The Freehold and Howell Plank Road was a plank road in New Jersey, running south from Freehold into Howell Township. Its path is now roughly followed by New Jersey Route 79, U. S. Route 9 and County Route 524. The Freehold and Howell Plank Road was chartered March 1, 1853 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. On June 1, 1901, it was purchased by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders and incorporated into the county highway system. Portions were later taken over as a state highway.

Monmouth Academy was a university preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school located in Howell Township, New Jersey, United States, serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Founded in 1973 by Lois Hirshkowitz, Monmouth Academy was formerly known as Lakewood Prep School. The school offered small classes, but an extensive offering of Advanced Placement courses, Mandarin Chinese and art classes taught by professional artists.As of the 2009-10 school year, the school had an enrollment of 89 students (plus 4 in pre-K) and 20.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 4.3.Monmouth Academy was overseen by the New Jersey Department of Education and is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. The school had been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1995.The school was closed in 2011.

The Talmudical Academy of Central New Jersey (Adelphia) is an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva high school and rabbinical college in Howell Township, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2013–14 school year, the school had an enrollment of 44 students and 4.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.0:1. The school's student body was 100.0% White.Founded in 1970 by Rabbi Yeruchim Shain in Adelphia, New Jersey, the school was originally a boarding school for high-school-college aged boys from the New York City area. Today the school has students from all over the world. Many of its alumni are teachers, principals and educators in their respective communities. The Yeshiva has a state-of-the-art gym and a Mikvah (ritual bath) on its 10-acre (40,000 m2) campus.

Georgia is an unincorporated community located within Freehold Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Exit 22 on Interstate 195 provides access to Georgia via Jackson Mills Road (County Route 23). There is also a road in the area called Georgia Road (CR 53), leading to Turkey Swamp Park. Georgia sits at the northern reaches of the Pine Barrens and numerous housing developments are located north and east of the settlement.
