San Pedro Cemetery Museum

Hospital station is the eighth stop on line A of the Medellín Metro. It is located in the central eastern part of Medellín and stops at complex that can connect to the University Hospital of San Vicente de Paúl, for which it is named. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of Line A, from Niquía to Poblado.

The Jesús Emilio Ramírez González Planetarium of Medellín (Spanish: Planetario Medellín de Jesús Emilio Ramírez González) is a planetarium located in Medellín, Colombia and established on October 10, 1984. It was originally conceived by the Astronomical Society of the College of San José, led at that time by Brother Daniel (Julián González Patiño), a renowned scientist, astronomer, and botanist. The purpose is that the planetarium is a space for the promotion of scientific and technological culture of citizens and mentality that encourages scientific and technological creativity. The museum is surrounded by a public space known as the Park of Wishes, which was designed by Felipe Uribe de Bedout to coordinate with the planetarium.Medellín was the first South American city to have a computer-controlled planetarium.

The Joaquin Antonio Uribe Botanical Garden of Medellín (Spanish: Joaquin Antonio Uribe Jardín Botánico de Medellín), more simply known as the Botanical Garden of Medellín, is a 14-hectare botanical garden in Medellín, Colombia. The botanical garden has 4,500 flowers and 139 recorded bird species. It has an important collection of orchids preserved in an architectural space called the "Orchideorama".

Universidad is the seventh station on line A of the Medellín Metro. It is located in the eastern part of Medellín. The station is located in an area of great academic, cultural and scientific importance and a site of great confluence of routes to different parts of the city because its proximity to the University of Antioquia and metropolitan areas such the Botanical Garden of Medellín and Barefoot Park. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.

Parque Explora is an interactive science museum in Medellín, Colombia, loosely modeled after San Francisco's Exploratorium. It houses South America's largest freshwater aquarium, Explora Aquarium. The museum contains over 300 interactive attractions, as well as a 3D auditorium, planetarium, television studio, and vivarium. The museum opened in 2008.

UdeA and the Tecnológico de Antioquia have the largest number of seats in the department of Antioquia. It is also renowned for its prestigious Faculty of Medicine, which is acknowledged as one of the best medical schools in Colombia.The university is a member of the Association of Colombian Universities (ASCUN), the Iberoamerican Association of Postgraduate Universities (AUIP), and the network Universia.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Medellín, officially the Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title of the Immaculate Conception. It is located in the central zone of the Medellín (Colombia) in the Villanueva neighborhood on the north side of Bolívar Park. Additionally, the temple was formerly called and it is still known but to a lesser extent, as Villaneuva Cathedral, especially during its construction to distinguish it from the Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria, which was the seat for the Episcopal see at the time.

El Hotel Nutibara, is a hotel located in the city of Medellín, in the city center, next to the Parque Berrío station of the Medellín Metro and tourist sites such as the Museo de Antioquia, the Palace of Culture, the Berrío parks and Bolívar, the metropolitan cathedral and the Candelaria basilica.Its name derives from a chief who inhabited the region, and name six of the lounges are related to Amerindian culture: Bochica, Tairona, Quimbaya, Katío, Bachué, and Nutabe.The hotel's restaurant is La Orquídea.It had been a staying place for Los Pelukas, pioneer rock band recorded in Colombia.

Caribe is the sixth station of the Medellín Metro from north to south, serving line A, and is located in the northern part of the municipality of Medellín. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado.It lies between two major traditional working class areas of the city of Medellín: the Castilla and Aranjuez municipalities. With the town of Bello, said municipalities evolved through the history of development of the metropolitan area as the main areas of labor within the process of industrialization. As strategic urban and regional development, and a high number of population areas, the Medellín Metro is an important element of this part of the city.

The Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture is a public building in Medellín, that houses cultural programs related to the Department of Antioquia, such as concerts, conferences, and art exhibitions. Belgian architect Agustín Goovaerts designed the building in a Gothic Revival style. The palace was named after Rafael Uribe Uribe, a General for the Colombian Liberal Party. The Palace of Culture is today considered a National Monument of Colombia and is freely open to the public. It houses the Institute of Culture and Heritage of Antioquia. Visitors have access to the historical and photographical archive, music and sound archive, café, library, documentation center, permanent art gallery, and “Rafael Uribe Uribe” Museum room. The large dome located in the building is also used as an auditorium and a projection room, and can be used to watch movies.

The Museum of Antioquia (Museo de Antioquia) is an art museum in Medellín, Colombia. It houses a large collection of works by Medellín native Fernando Botero and Pedro Nel Gómez. It was the first museum established in Antioquia department and the second in Colombia. The museum is located in the center of Medellín on the Botero Plaza near the Berrío Park metro station.
