UKM Bangi Stadium

The National University of Malaysia (Malay: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, abbreviated as UKM) is a public research university located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Hulu Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. Its teaching hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC) is located in Cheras and also has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur. There are 170,500 undergraduate students enrolled, and 90,105 postgraduate students of which 40,368 are foreign students from 35 countries. Since its establishment in 1970, the Malay language was used as the university's medium of instruction instead of English.

The PERMATApintar National Gifted Center, UKM, more commonly known as the Malaysian National Gifted Centre, UKM is a gifted center that provides education services for gifted and talented Malaysian students aged 12 – 17 in Malaysia. It was established by University Kebangsaan Malaysia to support the Malaysian Gifted and Talented Program mooted by Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor in 2009. ; wife of the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Najib Razak. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia under the leadership of then Vice Canselor, Tan Sri Dato Wira Dr. Sharifah Hapsah binti Syed Hasan Shahabudin was appointed as the implementer of the program. Professor Datuk Dr. Noriah Mohd Ishak was then appointed as the first Director of the Malaysian National Gifted Center Pusat PERMATApintar Negara, UKM. Her role was to develop assessment tools to search for the gifted and talented, develop the academic pathways for gifted and talented Malaysian children, develop a comprehensive and challenging curriculum for the gifted and talented Malaysian students and implement the program effectively with the support of UKM, for the benefit of gifted and talented Malaysian students. It is the only programme in Malaysia that identifies academically gifted and talented students. PERMATApintar currently offers three programmes: the Summer Camp programme (PPCS), the PERMATApintar College programme, and the ASASIpintar programme (UKM Pre-university programme).

Bandar Baru Bangi (literal translation: Bangi New Town) is a township and satellite town of Kajang situated in Hulu Langat District, in southeastern Selangor, Malaysia. It is named after the small town of Bangi situated further south. It is located between Kajang and Putrajaya (formerly Prang Besar) and is about 25 km away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Bandar Baru Bangi acts as the satellite town and Central Business District of Kajang, with most banks and government offices operating out of the township. Bandar Baru Bangi is also known as "Bandar Berilmu" or knowledgeable city since 2008 as numerous universities are located here including the National University of Malaysia. The name of the town usually is abbreviated as "BBB". As of 2016, there are 16 town sections in the town. While not an official town section, the new township Kajang 2 is the latest extension to Bandar Baru Bangi due to its close proximity to Seksyen 5.

The Kajang 2 Railway station is a KTM Komuter infill train station located in Kajang 2, Bandar Baru Bangi, Kajang, Selangor. The station is on the KTM Komuter's Seremban Line.

Bandar Seri Putra is a township in Bangi in Hulu Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. This township is about 30 km from Kuala Lumpur and 18 km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The township is some 2.5 km from the Selangor–Negeri Sembilan border.

Bandar Bukit Mahkota is a new township in Bangi, Hulu Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. Bandar Bukit Mahkota is a 1,320 acres (5.3 km2) development near the border of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. Nearest to the township are Seri Putra and Bandar Puteri Bangi at Selangor side and Nilai Industrial Park at Negeri Sembilan side. It is close to key tertiary institutions, like University Putra Malaysia, Islamic Science University of Malaysia (Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia), National University of Malaysia (University Kebangsaan Malaysia, UKM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Inti International University, Nilai University College, etc. Soon, Bandar Bukit Mahkota will have her own Mosque, namely Masjid At-Taqwa near roundabout to Section 5, and 6. Currently prayers are performed at Surau Ar-Raudhah Section 5 as well as at Masjid Al-Azhar KUIS nearby.

New Era University College (NEUC) is a private, non-profit higher education institution in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. It was founded on May 28, 1997. NEUC is a LCCI Registered Training Centre (RTC), and also a Cisco Networking Academy, which teaches students networking and other information technology-related courses such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).

Real Mulia Football Club, commonly known as Real Mulia, or simply as Real, is a professional football club . Founded in the end of 2014 as Kelab Bolasepak Real Mulia, the team has traditionally worn a dark blue home kit since. The word Real is a Spanish for Royal and was bestowed to the club by Tengku Fahd Mua'adzam in 2014 together with the royal crown in the emblem. The team has played its home matches in the 2,000-capacity Maybank Stadium in downtown Bangi. Real Mulia formerly play in the third-tier division of Malaysian football, the Malaysia FAM League. In 2015, the club has pulled from the league for financial reasons.

Kajang is a town in both Hulu Langat District and Sepang District, Selangor, Malaysia. Kajang, along with much of Hulu Langat District, is governed by the Kajang Municipal Council. Some parts of Kajang such as Seksyen 12 Bandar Baru Bangi, Kampung Sungai Merab, Desa Pinggiran Putra and Kampung Dato Abu Bakar Baginda are located in northeast Dengkil, Sepang District and is governed by the Sepang Municipal Council. Kajang town is located on the eastern banks of the Langat River. It is surrounded by Cheras, Semenyih, Bangi, Putrajaya and Serdang. According to the 2020 census, the local authority area (which includes Kajang, Cheras, Balakong, Bangi, Semenyih and Pekan Hulu Langat) has a population of 1.05 million people.
