Yuexiu Hill

The Zhenhai Tower, also known as the Five-Story Pagoda, is a tower in Guangzhou, Guangdong. It is located in Yuexiu Park, in central Guangzhou. It now houses the Guangzhou Museum.

The Xianxian Mosque (Chinese: 先贤清真寺) is a mosque in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is the largest mosque in Guangzhou.

Yuexiu Park Station (simplified Chinese: 越秀公园站; traditional Chinese: 越秀公園站; Jyutping: jyut6 sau3 gung1 jyun2 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Yuhtsau Gūng'yún Jaahm) is a station on Line 2 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operations on 29 December 2002. It is located under Yuexiu Park at the intersection of North Jiefang Road (解放北路) and Liuhua Road (流花路).

The Yuexiushan Stadium (simplified Chinese: 越秀山体育场; traditional Chinese: 越秀山體育場; Jyutping: Jyut⁶sau³saan¹ Tai²juk⁶coeng⁴) is a multi-purpose stadium in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, named for its location at the foot of Yuexiu Hill. It is currently mostly used for football matches and also sometimes for athletics. It is located on 4 Yingyuan Road. The stadium is owned by the Guangzhou Sports Bureau. The original stadium at the same location opened before 1926. In 1950, it was completely rebuilt with a capacity for 35,000 people. However, following renovation and the installation of fixed seating in 2012, the capacity is now 18,000.The stadium is best reached by taking Guangzhou Metro Line 2 to Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station.

The Triệu dynasty or Zhao dynasty (Chinese: 趙朝; lit. 'Zhao dynasty'; Vietnamese: Nhà Triệu; 茹趙) ruled the kingdom of Nanyue, which consisted of parts of southern China as well as northern Vietnam. Its capital was Panyu, in modern Guangzhou. The founder of the dynasty, Zhao Tuo (Triệu Đà), was a Chinese general from Hebei and originally served as a military governor under the Qin dynasty. He asserted the state's independence in 207 BC as the Qin dynasty was collapsing. The ruling elite included both native Yue and immigrant Han peoples. Zhao Tuo conquered the Vietnamese state of Âu Lạc and led a coalition of Yuè states in a war against the Han dynasty, which had been expanding southward. Subsequent rulers were less successful in asserting their independence and the Han dynasty finally conquered the kingdom in 111 BC.

Guangzhou TV Tower is a 217 m (712 ft) lattice telecommunication tower in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou with an observation deck, erected in 1991. A newer 618 m (2,028 ft) tower was completed in Guangzhou in October 2010, named Canton Tower that initially bore the name Guangzhou TV and Sightseeing Tower. It features observation decks on floors 107 and 108.

Guangzhou No.2 High School (Chinese: 廣州市第二中學) is a Chinese public high school in Guangzhou, Guangdong. The school was established in August, 1930.

The Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King (Chinese: 西漢南越王博物館 Cantonese: Sai Hon Nam Yuet Wong Mou Bok Mat Gun; Vietnamese: Tây Hán Nam Việt Bác Vật Quán ) houses the 2,000-year-old tomb of the Nanyue King Zhao Mo in Guangzhou. Zhao Mo ruled from 137 BC to 122 BC, and his tomb was discovered in downtown Guangzhou in 1983. The museum, which opened in 1988, showcases the tomb and its complete trove of artifacts. It was named a Major National Historical Site in 1996 and is renowned for its rare assemblage of funerary artifacts representing the diffusion of cultures throughout the Lingnan region during the Han dynasty.

Sanyuan Palace (simplified Chinese: 三元宫; traditional Chinese: 三元宮) is a Taoist temple dedicated to Three Great Emperor-Officials and is located in Yuexiu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong, People's Republic of China.

Liuhua is a subdistrict of the Yuexiu District in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, southern China.

Yuexiu District is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, China, located west of the Tianhe District and east of the Liwan District. It is the commercial, political and cultural centre of Guangdong and noted for its high-quality education. The Guangdong provincial government and the Guangzhou city government are both located in the Yuexiu District. Established in 1960, the district absorbed the former Dongshan District in May 2005 along with several former subdistricts of the Baiyun and Tianhe district. Yuexiu District has 18 streets under its jurisdiction. The total area is 33.8 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Yuexiu District was 1,038,643.
