The Charles Pinckney National Historic Site is a unit of the United States National Park Service, preserving a portion of Charles Pinckney's Snee Farm plantation and country retreat. The site is located at 1254 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Pinckney (1757-1824) was a member of a prominent political family in South Carolina. He fought in the American Revolutionary War, was held for a period as prisoner in the North, and returned to the state in 1783. Pinckney, a Founding Father of the United States, served as a delegate to the constitutional convention where he contributed to drafting the United States Constitution. This Snee Farm site was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1973, and was designated a National Historic Site in 1988.

Cook's Old Field Cemetery, also known as Hamlin Cemetery, is a historic cemetery located near Mount Pleasant, Charleston County, South Carolina. It contains graves dating from 1805 to 1916; the majority date from the 1840s and 1850s. The oldest marker is for Arnold Wells who died in 1805. On July 16, 1863, Mary Moore Hamlin set aside one acre of land for the dedicated cemetery. The cemetery is an excellent example of a mid-19th century plantation cemetery associated with the Hamlin, Hibben, and Leland families and is an excellent example of mid-nineteenth century gravestone art. It is also the last extant resource associated with the Hamlin, Hibben, and Leland families; none of the families' plantation houses survive around Mount Pleasant. The cemetery has 38 marked graves. There are headstones, box tombs, and an obelisk. Two markers commemorating the descendants of those who began a reunion committee in 1949 are located immediately inside the gate. The stones, arranged by family, display weathering and some vandalism but otherwise retain their integrity. Two brick columns mark the location of missing iron gates at the entrance. The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 9, 2003.Seven of the ornately carved markers were identified as the work of the family of Charleston stone carver Thomas Walker, who started a family business in 1794 that lasted until 1904.

Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is an upscale shopping center located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The shopping center has over 65 national and local retail stores such as Belk, Buckle, Chico's, Gap, LOFT, Lululemon, LUSH Cosmetics, Versona, and Victoria's Secret. Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is located on Highway 17 North at the Isle of Palms Connector. The complex hosts an annual "Fashion Camp" where young fashionistas can learn about the clothing industry, and visit stores in the area.Town Center is served by CARTA Public Transit with two sheltered inbound stops available for transit riders traveling west to other Parts of Mount Pleasant and downtown Charleston. Eastbound the route runs all the way to Wando High School.

The Oakland Plantation House which is also known as Youghall or Youghal Plantation House, was built about 1750 in Charleston County, South Carolina about 7 mi (11 km) east of Mount Pleasant. It is located about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of U.S. Route 17 on Stratton Place. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places on July 13, 1977.

The rest of the schedule is nationally syndicated programs, mostly from co-owned Premiere Networks: The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, The Glenn Beck Program, The Sean Hannity Show, The Ramsey Show with Dave Ramsey, Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis, Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and This Morning, America's First News with Gordon Deal. Weekends feature shows on money, health, law, real estate, home repair and technology, some of which are paid brokered programming. Every Sunday, WSCC-FM broadcasts the 11:00 am service of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Most hours begin with an update from Fox News Radio. WSCC-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 25,000 watts. The transmitter is on Venning Road in Mount Pleasant. WSCC-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio format. Its HD2 digital subchannel formerly carried iHeartRadio's reggae music service "iRie Radio". Its HD3 subchannel carries a simulcast of WAYA-FM, which airs the WAY-FM Network contemporary Christian format.

WRFQ (104.5 MHz, "Q-104.5") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and serving the Charleston metropolitan area and Lowcountry of South Carolina. It broadcasts a classic rock radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The station airs the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom morning show. The radio studios and offices are on Houston Northcutt Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. WRFQ has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum permitted for non-grandfathered FM stations. The transmitter is off Venning Road in Mount Pleasant, amid the towers for other Charleston-area TV and FM stations. WRFQ broadcasts using HD Radio technology. Its HD-2 digital subchannel formerly carried an iHeartRadio hip hop music service known as "Hip Hop Workout". The HD2 subchannel has since been turned off.
