Raigmore Hospital (Scottish Gaelic: Ospadal an Rathaig Mhòir) is a health facility located in Inverness, Scotland. It serves patients from the local area as well as providing specialist services to patients from across the Highland area. It is a teaching hospital, educating a range of healthcare professionals in association with the Universities of Aberdeen and Stirling. It is managed by NHS Highland.

Drakies is a small housing estate on the outskirts of Inverness, Scotland, lying immediately south of the former Inverness-shire village of Culcabock. Both these areas are now suburbs of the city of Inverness. Formerly farming land, Drakies was developed for private housing during the 1970s, and is also the location of the Police Headquarters of Northern Constabulary.

Raigmore (Gaelic: An Ràthaig Mhòr) is an area of Inverness situated in the east of the city. It is in the Highland council area of Scotland. The name is from the Gaelic for "the large fortified dwelling". All formerly part of the Raigmore estate, the southern part of Raigmore is now the location of Raigmore Hospital, the main hospital for Inverness and the Highlands. The northern part is now a housing estate, which includes Raigmore Primary School and a community centre. The A9 road passes by to the east of Raigmore, and connects with the A96 road at the Raigmore Interchange, to the north east of the area.

Culcabock (; Scottish Gaelic: Cùil na Càbaig) is a former hamlet in Highland Council Area, Scotland. Culcabock now forms an eastern suburb of Inverness, located 1+1⁄4 miles (2.0 km) east southeast of the city centre.

The Filter Bunker Raigmore Inverness is the one remaining of a group of three subterranean bunkers situated around Raigmore in Inverness, Scotland. All three bunkers were constructed around 1940 for use by the Royal Air Force to process RADAR signals from Chain Home masts. The three bunkers in the cluster were Operations, Filter and Command. It is a B listed building because of its historic interest.

Inshes (, Scottish Gaelic: Na h-Innseagan, pronounced [nə ˈhĩːʃəxən]) is a small residential area in the east of Inverness, Scotland. Inverness is the capital of the Highlands and is one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe. Some parts of Inshes were built a few decades ago, but most of it was built after 2003. A few houses are still being constructed and not yet finished. The houses are made by Barrat and Tulloch Homes, which are quite popular and expensive in Britain. A majority of the houses are semi-detached but some are detached. There are also a few flats in Inshes.

The Inverness Campus is an area in Inverness, Scotland. 5.5 hectares of the site have been designated as an enterprise area for life sciences by the Scottish Government. This designation is intended to encourage research and development in the field of life sciences, by providing incentives to locate at the site.The enterprise area is part of a larger site, over 200 acres, which will house Inverness College, Scotland's Rural College (SRUC), the University of the Highlands and Islands, a health science centre and sports and other community facilities. The purpose built research hub will provide space for up to 30 staff and researchers, allowing better collaboration.The Highland Science Academy will be located on the site, a collaboration formed by Highland Council, employers and public bodies. The academy will be aimed towards assisting young people to gain the necessary skills to work in the energy, engineering and life sciences sectors.

Cameron Barracks is a British Army installation that stands on Knockentinnel Hill on the eastern outskirts of Inverness in Scotland.

Millburn distillery was a producer of single malt Scotch whisky that operated between 1807 and 1985. Its whisky was an important component of the "Mill Burn" vatted malt.

Millburn Academy (Gaelic: Acadamaidh Allt a' Mhuilinn) is a six-year secondary school in Inverness, Scotland. It serves the portion of Inverness east of the River Ness along with rural areas to the south of the city's reach, with a catchment area that includes the primary schools of Crown, Daviot, Drakies, Inshes, Raigmore and Strathdearn. The school runs parallel to the 'Mill Burn' which was originally used for a Whisky distillery. The distillery is now gone and has been replaced by a chain hotel. Millburn Academy opened for pupils in August 1961, although at that time it was known as Millburn Junior Secondary School. In its early years Millburn Junior Secondary School catered for pupils in the first three, and later four, years of secondary, but in 1967 the school name was changed to Millburn Secondary School, showing the direction in which the school was developing. For a period after 1967, the introduction of comprehensive education meant that Millburn Academy accommodated all pupils on the east side of Inverness for the first 2 years of their secondary education, after which the more able transferred to Inverness Royal Academy to continue their education while the others remained at Millburn Secondary School. In 1967 the school was renamed as Millburn High School for a short time, but after pressure from parents it was re-designated as Millburn Academy. The arrangement with Inverness Royal Academy ended in 1977 and from 1979 Millburn Academy could concentrate on being the sixth year secondary school for the catchment area - Crown, Drakies, Inshes, Milton Of Leys, Raigmore, Moy, Daviot and Raigbeg Primary Schools, including pupils living in the area who attended Bishop Eden Primary School and St. Josephs R.C. Primary School. Through the 1980s the school developed into a six year secondary. The current at Millburn academy is Johnny Croal ( elected in 2019).

Crown (from the Scottish Gaelic: Crùn) is an area situated beside the city centre of Inverness, the capital city of the Scottish Highlands. In general, the area's housing dates back to the Victorian or Edwardian era.
