Blairstown Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in Blairstown, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Students from Hardwick Township, a non-operating school district attend Blairstown Elementary School. As of the 2022–23 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 432 students and 44.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.7:1. The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J. Students in seventh through twelfth grades for public school attend the North Warren Regional High School in Blairstown, a public secondary high school, serving students from the townships of Blairstown, Frelinghuysen, Hardwick, and Knowlton. As of the 2021–22 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 658 students and 56.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.6:1.

Blairstown was one of the three original Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad stations on the Lackawanna Cut-Off rail line in northwestern New Jersey. Built by contractor Hyde, McFarlan & Burke, the station opened in 1911. Most passenger trains, such as the Lackawanna Limited and, later, the Phoebe Snow, plus the Twilight/Pocono Express and the Westerner/New Yorker stopped at Blairstown, which also sold commuter tickets. Blairstown station was the only station on the Cut-Off to be open during the Erie Lackawanna Railway years, and remained so until passenger service ended on January 6, 1970 with the discontinuing of the Lake Cities. After 1970, the building housed a radio station, WHCY-FM, until the 1990s. The station building is currently privately owned. Blairstown is slated to become a station stop once again if a proposal by New Jersey Transit to restore rail service to Scranton, Pennsylvania, comes to fruition, with the station proposed to be situated between the track and Hope Road. In spring 2021, Amtrak announced plans for potential New York–Scranton route. Blairstown was cited as the intermediate station between Dover and East Stroudsburg on the route. The Lackawanna Cut-Off Restoration Project reconnection to Blairstown appeared a step closer on April 13, 2022, when the NJ Transit board announced the approval of an approximated $32.5 million contract for completion of repairs to the Roseville Tunnel and construction of the new Andover station (14 miles east of Blairstown). It is anticipated that work will be completed in the latter part of 2026. Additional work remains for reinstalling track from Andover to Blairstown.

Blairstown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Blairstown Township, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The CDP was created as part of the 2010 United States census. As of the 2010 United States census, the CDP's population was 515.

Blairstown Historic District is located in Blairstown, Warren County, New Jersey. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 16, 2007, for its significance in architecture, commerce, and community development. It includes a grist mill originally built in 1825 that once served as town's library and is now part of Blair Academy.

Blair Academy is a coeducational, boarding and day school for students in high school. The school serves students from ninth through twelfth grades as well as a small post-graduate class. The school's campus is located on a 463 acres (1.87 km2) campus in Blairstown in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, approximately 60 miles (97 km) west of New York City. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 479 students and 59.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.0:1. The school's student body was 55.1% (264) White, 23.0% (110) Asian, 11.1% (53) two or more races, 7.9% (38) Black and 2.9% (14) Hispanic.

Siddhachalam is the first Jain Tirtha (pilgrimage site) located outside of India. Founded in 1983 by Sushil Kumar, it is located on a 108-acre (44ha) site in rural New Jersey, United States. Siddhachalam (Hindi: siddha, liberated souls; achal, a permanent place, as a mountain) literally means the abode of liberated souls.

Spring Valley Christian Church Site is a historic site on Spring Valley Road, 0.5 miles east of Hardwick Center in Hardwick Township in Warren County, New Jersey. The Greek Revival-style building was constructed in 1840. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Jacksonburg Creek is a tributary of the Paulins Kill located along the eastern face of Kittatinny Mountain in Warren County in northwestern New Jersey in the United States. It rises near the Warren County-Sussex County border in Hardwick Township and enters the Paulins Kill in the center of Blairstown. The Appalachian Trail passes within its watershed and crosses the creek as it traverses the ridgeline of Kittatinny Mountain. The 1980 slasher film Friday the 13th was filmed at Camp NoBeBosCo north of Blairstown, New Jersey in Hardwick Township. The camp's Sand Pond, which stood in for the movie's "Crystal Lake," is the headwaters of Jacksonburg Creek.

The Vass Farmstead is located at 109 Stillwater Road in Hardwick Township of Warren County, New Jersey, United States. Built in 1812, the historic stone farmhouse overlooks White Lake in the valley of the Paulins Kill and features a mix of Federal and Georgian architectural styles. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1999, for its significance in agriculture and architecture. In 1764, Martin Swartwelder purchased 548.5 acres (222.0 ha) from Adam Cunkle. After his death, the property was sold to John Vass, a German emigrant, in 1802. His son, Isaac Vass inherited it in 1852. His son, Frank Vass inherited it in 1893 and sold it to George Van Riper in 1922. The listing also includes a contributing barn and lime kiln.

Marksboro is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Frelinghuysen Township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was created as part of the 2010 United States Census, though settlement and naming of the community date back to before 1760. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 82.

Happiness Is Camping is a non-profit ACA-accredited overnight camp for kids with cancer, ages 6–16, and their siblings. The camp is located on 145 acres in Hardwick, New Jersey, United States. Happiness Is Camping is free to all who attend, and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) organization.

Silver Lake is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Hope Township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was defined as part of the 2010 United States Census. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 368.
