Aci Trezza (Sicilian: Jaci Trizza) is a town in Sicily, southern Italy, a frazione of the comune of Aci Castello, c. 10 km north of Catania, with a population of around 5,000 people. Located on the coast of the Ionian Sea, the village has a long history of maritime activity. Aci Trezza is a popular spot for Italian vacationers in the summer. The patron Saint of the town is St. John the Baptist. The Festa of San Giovanni is celebrated each year during the last week of June in his honor.

The Castello Normanno ("Norman Castle"), or alternatively the Castello di Aci ("Castle of Aci"; Sicilian: Casteddu di Iaci), is a castle in Aci Castello in the Metropolitan City of Catania in Sicily, southern Italy. The castle is situated on a rocky outcrop jutting out into the sea. Its precise date of construction is uncertain, but it was important to the development of its region during the Middle Ages. During the War of the Sicilian Vespers, it was subject to Roger of Lauria. It was besieged more than once, and was briefly controlled by the Spanish. It is currently a museum.

Aci Castello (Sicilian: Jaci Casteḍḍu) is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Catania in Sicily, Italy. The city is located 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Catania on the Mediterranean coast. The primary economic sectors are agriculture and industry (in Catania). The city is neighbored by Aci Catena, Acireale, Catania, San Gregorio di Catania and Valverde.

Stadio Tupparello is a multi-use stadium in Acireale, Italy. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of S.S.D. Acireale Calcio 1946. The stadium holds 12,100.

The Castello Scammacca, also known as the Castello Pennisi di Floristella, is a 19th-century villa-like palace, built to resemble anachronistically a Gothic-style castle with crenellated rooflines, located on piazza Agostino Pennisi #11 (between Via dell'Agrumicoltura and Via San Girolamo, in a large plot of land in the outskirts of Acireale, Sicily, Italy. The building is privately owned, but generally unoccupied.The house is named after the original owners of the property, the barons of Scammacca. The palace was commissioned in the late 19th century by the Baron Agostino Pennisi di Floristella; the design was by the architect Giuseppe Patricolo. Work was generally complete by 1882. Of note, the private chapel was frescoed in 1905 by Giuseppe Sciuti. The villa was requisitioned at the start of World War II by the German army. Allied bombardment failed to damage it significantly. With the allied occupation of Sicily, the castle was occupied by the British army.

The PalaTupparello is an indoor venue in Acireale, Italy. It is the largest indoor sports facility in Sicily, as it can hold 8,000 spectators and is also used to host musical performances and concerts. It is located about one kilometre (0.62 mi) from the center of Acireale. The venue was used as a vaccination centre during the COVID-19 pandemic. The venue unsuccessfully applied to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 held in Italy.

Santa Giuseppe is a Baroque style, Roman Catholic parish church located in Aci Catena in the region of Sicily, Italy.

The Palazzo Calanna is a palace located on Via Vittorio Emanuele II #117, in the city of Acireale, region of Sicily, Italy. The sober neoclassical palace was commissioned in the late 19th-century by Andrea Calanna from the architect Mariano Panebianco. The palace has rusticated blocks at the base and the second floor has an open arcade/balcony with three rounded arches. Calanna commissioned the fresco decorations from Giuseppe Sciuti. The work was completed from 1902 to 1905 and includes ceiling frescoes depicting allegories or scenes the Four Seasons, The Genius of Education, The Maenads", Silence, Sleep, Confidence, and The Rainbow". In one room is a large historical fresco depicting the Battle of Manio Aquilio, in which a Ancient Roman general and consul defeats a rebellious slave army in Sicily.

Sant'Antonio di Padova Sant'Antonio di Padova is a Gothic-style, Roman Catholic parish church located on via Vittorio Emanuele in central Acireale in the region of Sicily of Italy.

Santa Maria degli Agonizzanti, later called San Crispino is a small, now deconsecrated Baroque, Roman Catholic church or chapel located on Via Vittorio Emanuele II, corner with Via Pennisi, in Acireale in the region of Sicily, Italy. This small church was originally linked to a confraternity that tended to the final communion and burial of prisoners condemned to death. Originally built in the early 18th-century, the plaque above the portal harkens to a reconstruction in 1905. The church putatively contained a prison cell where the captive was kept till execution. The death penalty was abolished in the Kingdom of Italy was abolished in 1889 until 1929. The church is no longer in use.

Valverde (Sicilian: Bedduvirdi) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 kilometres (110 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of Catania. Valverde borders the following municipalities: Aci Bonaccorsi, Aci Castello, Aci Catena, Aci Sant'Antonio, San Giovanni la Punta, San Gregorio di Catania.
