Bauan, officially the Municipality of Bauan (Tagalog: Bayan ng Bauan), is a municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 90,819 people.

San Pascual, officially the Municipality of San Pascual (Tagalog: Bayan ng San Pascual), is a municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 69,009 making it as the 9th most populous municipality in the province.

Batangas, officially the Province of Batangas (Tagalog: Lalawigan ng Batangas IPA: [bɐˈtaŋgas]), is a first class province of the Philippines located in the southwestern part of Luzon in the Calabarzon region. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 2,908,494 people, making it the 8th most populous province in the country. Its capital is the city of Batangas, and is bordered by the provinces of Cavite and Laguna to the north, and Quezon to the east. The province of Batangas was billed as the second richest province in the Philippines by the Commission on Audit by the year 2020. It has been the second richest province in the country for two consecutive years. In 2020, its provincial government posted a record high of ₱25.2 billion worth of assets, the largest in Calabarzon and the whole Luzon. Batangas is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Metro Manila. It is home to the well-known Taal Volcano, one of the Decade Volcanoes, and the small nearby town of Taal which keeps ancestral houses, churches, and other architecture dating back to the 19th century. The province also has numerous beaches and diving spots including Anilao in Mabini, Sombrero Island in Tingloy, Ligpo Island and Sampaguita Beach in Bauan, Matabungkay in Lian, Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, the municipality of Calatagan, and Laiya in San Juan. All of the marine waters of the province are part of the Verde Island Passage, the center of the world's marine biodiversity. Batangas International Port in Batangas City is the second largest international seaport in the Philippines after Port of Manila. The identification of the city as an industrial growth center in the region and being the focal point of the Calabarzon program is seen in the increasing number of business establishments in the city's Central Business District (CBD) as well as numerous industries operating in the province's industrial parks. Lipa City has passed Batangas City as the most populous city in the province.

The Batangas International Port (Filipino: Daungan Pandaigdig ng Batangas) or locally known as the Batangas Pier (Tagalog: Pantalan ng Batangas) is a seaport in Barangay Santa Clara, Batangas City primarily serving the Calabarzon region of the Philippines. The seaport covers an area of about 150 hectares. It was declared as a national port in 1956. It serves as an alternate port to the Port of Manila. In the 1990s, it was the second biggest port in the Philippines in terms of revenue, just behind the Port of Manila.

Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (Filipino: Pambansang Pamantasan ng Batangas; BatStateU The NEU) is a state university in the province of Batangas, Philippines. Established in 1903 as a training school, Batangas State University is the oldest higher education institution in the region. It was granted a state college status in 1968, renamed Pablo Borbon Memorial Institute of Technology, and was finally elevated into a state university in 2001. At present, the university has eleven campuses in Batangas. Since 1999, Batangas State University has been consistently the top and the second top performing mechanical engineering school in the country based on the results of the biannual board examinations.

Batangas, sometimes called Batangas City and officially called the City of Batangas (Tagalog: Lungsod ng Batangas), is a component city and capital of the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 358,267 people. Batangas City is classified as one of the fastest urbanizing cities of the Philippines, and is known as the "Industrial Port City of Calabarzon". It is home to the Batangas International Port, one of the busiest passenger and container terminals in the Philippines. It also hosts one of the largest oil refineries in the country, three natural gas power plants, and several other major industries. In addition, the city also serves as the educational, industrial and the transportation center of the province. Batangas City is one of the proposed metropolitan areas in the Philippines. Metro Batangas is proposed to include the component city of Batangas, as well as the towns of Alitagtag, Bauan, Ibaan, Lobo, Mabini, Rosario, San Juan, San Luis, San Pascual, Santa Teresita, Taal, Taysan and Tingloy.

The University of Batangas (UB; Filipino: Pamantasan ng Batangas), is a private university, basic and higher education institution located in Batangas City, Philippines. Founded in 1946 as Western Philippine College, it is the oldest university and second-oldest educational institution in Batangas. Established in 1946, the university currently offers pre-elementary, elementary, high school, undergraduate and graduate studies and law. It has five campuses throughout the province and is ISO certified by AJA. It has been awarded by PACUCOA as having the 3rd most accredited programs in the country. The University of Batangas is recognized by CHED as a Center of Excellence in Electronics Engineering and as a Center of Development in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Teachers Education. It has also been recognized by PRC as a consistent top performer in engineering education nationwide. UB remains as a partner of DepEd in the training for K12 Teachers in the province of Batangas. The University of Batangas College of Law is regarded as a top-performing legal education institution in Calabarzon region in terms of the quantity of lawyers it produces. It is also regarded as a premier legal education institution in the entire region.

The Minor Basilica and Parish of the Immaculate Conception, alternatively known as the Archdiocesan Shrine of Santo Niño de Batangan, is a minor basilica in Batangas City, Philippines. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Lipa. It was made an independent parish in 1614 under the advocation of the Immaculate Conception. It is one of the oldest churches in Batangas.

St. Bridget College is a Catholic education institution founded by the Religious of the Good Shepherd in 1913. At present, its main campus is located at M.H. del Pilar Street, Batangas City, Philippines. It is one of the major schools located in Batangas City and throughout the Province of Batangas. It is also the oldest Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Lipa and also the first school established by the Religious of the Good Shepherd in the Philippines.

Sta. Teresa College, formerly known as St. Theresa's Academy and Colegio de Santa Teresa de Jesus and often abbreviated as "STC", is a Catholic education institution founded in 1920 and established by the Franciscan Sisters in 1940. Its main campus is located at Kapitan Ponso Street, Bauan, Batangas, Philippines. To date, STC is one of the oldest Catholic Schools within the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Lipa.

The Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas (formerly Lyceum of Batangas) is a higher education institution located in Capitol Site, Batangas City. It was founded by Sotero Laurel in 1966 using the educational philosophy of his father, former President José P. Laurel. Serving as the Lyceum of the Philippines University's affiliate satellite campus in the province of Batangas, its flagship courses were Nursing, Medical Technology, Marine Engineering, and Customs Administration. Now, Lyceum of the Philippines University has 42 degree & non-degree programs offerings. The school employs over 500 teaching and non-teaching personnel to cater to the needs of its 10,000 student population, the biggest amongst all Lyceum campuses.

The Batangas Medical Center (BatMC) is a tertiary level government hospital in the Philippines. It is located at Bihi Road, Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City. In 1992, the then Batangas Regional Hospital was authorized to increase its bed capacity from two hundred beds to two hundred fifty beds. In 2009, it was renamed to its current name and was authorized to expand into a three hundred bed hospital. In 2019, its authorized bed capacity was further increased to one thousand.
