Holiday City – Silver Ridge is an unincorporated master-planned community located within Berkeley Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, near Toms River. The entire community has a total population of 21,631 in five separate census-designated places according to the 2000 United States Census. The subdivision is divided into four sections: Holiday City-Berkeley (2000 population of 13,884), Holiday City South (4,047), Holiday Heights (2,389) and Silver Ridge Park (1,211). The community consists of many strip malls, a mini mall containing over 20 stores, doctors offices, real estate offices, banks and a hospital. The main roadways are Mule Road and Jamaica Boulevard. The development is an age-restricted adult community and is located off of Route 37 just west of the Garden State Parkway.

Holiday Heights is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Berkeley Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,099.

Popcorn Park Animal Refuge is a small non-profit 7-acre (2.8 ha) animal refuge and sanctuary located in Forked River, New Jersey, within Lacey Township. According to the Associated Humane Societies, the refuge is "a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds." The refuge has programs to educate visitors about animals and their environments and offers hundreds of rescued dogs and cats for adoption, in their separate adoption building. The name "Popcorn Park" was adopted due to the small fee visitors pay to the entrance which grants them entry. No feeding of the animals is allowed since 2022.

Manchester Township High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades in Manchester Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, as the lone secondary school of the Manchester Township School District. The school also serves approximately 150 high school students from Lakehurst Borough, who attend as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Lakehurst School District.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 970 students and 83.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.6:1. There were 203 students (20.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 50 (5.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Until the 2000 census, the CDP had been part of the Leisure Village West-Pine Lake Park CDP, which was split for the 2010 enumeration into separate CDPs for Leisure Village West and Pine Lake Park. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 3,493. Leisure Village West is one of several active adult communities bearing similar names. Leisure Village and Leisure Village East are the other two communities nearby.
