Holiday City South is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Berkeley Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 3,689.

Community Medical Center, known colloquially as CMC, is a fully accredited acute care hospital in Toms River, New Jersey, serving the entire northern Ocean County area. The hospital is Ocean County's largest and most active healthcare facility.The hospital has been undergoing another expansion since 2004; when completed, the hospital will have the largest emergency department on the East Coast of the United States.

The Toms River is a 41.7-mile-long (67.1 km) freshwater river and estuary in Ocean County, New Jersey in the United States. The Toms River rises in the Pine Barrens of northern Ocean County and flows southeast and east, fed by several branches, in a meandering course through area wetlands, emptying into Barnegat Bay, an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Intracoastal Waterway at Mile 14.6.

Holiday Heights is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Berkeley Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,099.

South Toms River is a borough in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,643, a decrease of 41 (−1.1%) from the 2010 census count of 3,684, which in turn reflected an increase of 50 (+1.4%) from the 3,634 counted in the 2000 census.South Toms River was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 28, 1927, from portions of Berkeley Township, based on the results of a referendum held on May 3, 1927. The borough was named for the Toms River and the neighboring community of Toms River, which were named for Capt. William Tom.

Holiday City – Silver Ridge is an unincorporated master-planned community located within Berkeley Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, near Toms River. The entire community has a total population of 21,631 in five separate census-designated places according to the 2000 United States Census. The subdivision is divided into four sections: Holiday City-Berkeley (2000 population of 13,884), Holiday City South (4,047), Holiday Heights (2,389) and Silver Ridge Park (1,211). The community consists of many strip malls, a mini mall containing over 20 stores, doctors offices, real estate offices, banks and a hospital. The main roadways are Mule Road and Jamaica Boulevard. The development is an age-restricted adult community and is located off of Route 37 just west of the Garden State Parkway.

The Waterhouse Museum was located in Toms River, New Jersey. The museum exhibited art by Colonel Charles Waterhouse, a U. S. Marine veteran of the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II. The works at the museum depicted military scenes from the American Revolutionary War to the present with a focus on the Marine Corps. Toms River High School South is a comprehensive four-year public high school, and was the first high school established in Toms River (formerly Dover Township) in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Toms River Regional Schools. The school day starts at 7:15 AM and lasts six hours and 20 minutes. Toms River high schools have some of the earliest daily closing high schools in New Jersey, closing at 1:35 PM every day.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,381 students and 91.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.0:1. There were 292 students (21.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 74 (5.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school colors are maroon and White. The school has four mascots: Indian, Indian Princess, Super Maroon, and Spirit. During the 2014–15 school year, the mascots were Indian XLVII, Princess XLVI, Super Maroon XXXVII, and Spirit XVI. The mascots appear at every football game of the High School South Indians, which also feature the longtime "Voice of the Indians", P. David Correll Jr., as public address announcer.

Huddy Park is a location in Highlands, New Jersey. Dedicated to the patriot hero Joshua Huddy of the American Revolutionary War, who was hanged there in 1782, Huddy Park is the site of the local "Clamfest" since 1994.

The Horner House is located at 44 East Water Street in Toms River in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The historic Georgian Revival house was built around 1824 by Captain Stephen Gulick. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 13, 1982, for its significance in architecture and maritime history. It was listed as part of the Old Village of Toms River Multiple Property Submission (MPS).

The Stewart House, also known as the Dover House, is located at 57 East Water Street in Toms River in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. Built around 1849, the historic Italianate house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 13, 1982, for its significance in transportation. It was listed as part of the Old Village of Toms River Multiple Property Submission (MPS).

Ocean County Library is a public library system that serves 32 municipalities out of the 33 municipalities of Ocean County, New Jersey. Beach Haven on Long Beach Island is not a member municipality.
