Ispartakule railway station (Turkish: Ispartakule istasyonu) is a station in Başakşehir, Turkey, in the eastern suburbs of Istanbul. TCDD Taşımacılık operates two daily regional trains from Istanbul to Kapıkule and Çerkezköy, which stops at Ispartakule. The station consists of a side platform and a narrow island platform servicing three tracks. The station was opened in 1873 by the Oriental Railway.

Melantias (Greek: Μελαντιάς), often also Melantiada, Melentiana, Melitias, or Melitiada, was a settlement in Eastern Thrace in Roman and Byzantine times, near the city of Constantinople (modern Istanbul, Turkey).

Bathonea (Ancient Greek: Βαθονεία) is a long-lost ancient Greek city (or village) that was located on the European shore of the sea of Marmara, 20 km west from Istanbul, Turkey in Küçükçekmece.The settlement was at some point home to some of the Varangian Guards, elite Norsemen guards & settlers in Constantinople. The ruins of this town, which have always remained visible, were studied extensively in 1930, specially during the Republican era by the Swiss archeologist Ernest Mamboury, who firstly thought and identified the settlement as the town of Rhegion based on some ancient sources.In 2009 though, a new identification was proposed, as the Hellenistic-Roman city of Bathonea, which the fact is currently accepted today. At the present, excavations are conducted under the direction of Dr. Şengül Aydıngün, an associate Professor of the Kocaeli University. The settlement lies 20 kilometres west from Istanbul in Küçükçekmece. Brutea's site is eight kilometers wide, reaching a small inlet west of Istanbul on the banks of Lake Küçükçekmece. Some remains of this city could be submerged in the waters of this lake. A researcher found a lighthouse in the middle of the lake that could have belonged to ancient Bathonea. If this is verified, it will be one of many other Roman lighthouses that existed in the western and eastern Mediterranean, such as that of Alexandria and Patara.

Bahçeşehir Muhsin Ertuğrul Theatre (Turkish: Bahçeşehir Muhsin Ertuğrul Tiyatrosu) is a theatre venue located in Bahçeşehir quarter of Başakşehir district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is owned and operated by Başakşehir Municipality. The theatre is named in honor of the Turkish stage actor and director Muhsin Ertuğrul (1892–1979). The theatre is situated in 2. Kısım neighborhood of Bahçeşehir, a satellite town of Istanbul. The theatre is built on an area of 1,920 m2 (20,700 sq ft). The theatre's audience hall occupies 216 m2 (2,330 sq ft), and has a total seating capacity of 318, including 70 seats in a second level gallery that serves the theatre balcony.The 145 m2 (1,560 sq ft) large stage has a clearance of 14 m (46 ft). The stage is named after Haldun Dormen (born 1928), a Turkish actor and film director, who contributed much to the establishment of this theatre.

Yarimburgaz Cave (Turkish: Yarımburgaz Mağarası) is a cave of significant archaeological and paleontological importance, located within Istanbul Province, Turkey.

Yarımburgaz is a neighborhood in the Küçükçekmece District on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. Its population is 8,759 (2024). The neighborhood is bordered on the north by the Trans-European Motorway, with the Başakşehir District lying on the other side of the highway; on the east by the Küçükçekmece neighborhoods of Atakent and İstasyon; on the south by Lake Küçükçekmece; and on the west by Lake Küçükçekmece and the Avcılar District.

Esenyurt (Turkish: [e's̪æn̪juɾt]) is a district of the Istanbul Province and is a part of the metropolitan municipality of Istanbul. Located in the European side of Istanbul, Esenyurt borders with Avcılar and Lake Küçükçekmece on the east, Büyükçekmece on the west, Başakşehir, Arnavutköy and TEM road on the north and Beylikdüzü and E-5 motorway on the south. The district covers an area of 2.770 hectares and has its own municipality since 1989. With the construction boom of large residential complexes in the area in the past few years, Esenyurt benefited from a major development. It now has four cultural centres, which are Esenyurt Cultural Centre, Saadetdere Cultural Centre, Yenikent Cultural Centre and Yunus Balta Cultural Centre. Four parks built in Esenyurt (Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Park, Şehitler Park, Gaziler Park and Kadir Topbaş Park) are also situated among the complexes.

The Çekmece Nuclear Research and Training Center (Turkish: Çekmece Nükleer Araştırma ve Eğitim Merkezi), known as ÇNAEM, is the primary nuclear research and training center of Turkey. The organization was established on March 6, 1958 as a subunit of Turkish Atomic Energy Administration (Turkish: Türkiye Atom Enerjisi Kurumu, TAEK) at Küçükçekmece district in the west of Istanbul. The organization's name was coined on August 12, 1960 in conjunction with its location.The groundbreaking of the facility at the eastern shore of Lake Küçükçekmece to house the country's first nuclear research reactor was held in 1959. After completion of the construction and the start of the operation of the research reactor, the official opening of the center took place on May 27, 1962 in the presence of President Cemal Gürsel.The center is directed by Ass. Prof. Dr. Gürsel Karahan.

Lake Küçükçekmece (Turkish: Küçükçekmece Gölü) is a lagoon located between the Küçükçekmece, Esenyurt and Avcılar districts of the European portion of Istanbul Province, northwestern Turkey. The lake is neighbored in the south by state road D.100 and in the north by the O-3 motorway (European route E80). The proposed controversial Istanbul Canal is intended to pass through the lake, though the so-called construction of the canal has been in-halt ever since its construction started by ceremony back in 2021.

Haramidere is a station on the Istanbul Metrobus Bus rapid transit line. It is located on the D.100 state highway, with entrances/exits on both sides of the road. Haramidere station was opened on 19 July 2012 as part of the westward expansion of the line.
