Roosevelt is a borough in western Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 808, a decrease of 74 (−8.4%) from the 2010 census count of 882, which in turn reflected a decline of 51 (−5.5%) from the 933 counted in the 2000 census.Located at the cross-roads between the Delaware Valley region to the south and the Raritan Valley region to the north in the center of the state, the borough was established as Jersey Homesteads by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on May 29, 1937, from portions of Millstone Township. The name was changed to Roosevelt as of November 9, 1945, based on the results of a referendum held three days earlier, in honor of Franklin D. Roosevelt, who had died on April 12, 1945.New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Roosevelt as its 12th best place to live in its 2008 rankings of the "Best Places To Live" in New Jersey.

The Roosevelt Public School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade from Roosevelt in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 84 students and 8.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.5:1. In the 2016–17 school year, Roosevelt had the 6th-smallest enrollment of any school district in the state, with 88 students.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For sixth through twelfth grades, public school students attend the East Windsor Regional School District, which serves students from East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough, with students from Roosevelt attending as part of a sending/receiving relationship. Schools in the East Windsor district attended by Roosevelt students (with 2021–22 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Melvin H. Kreps Middle School with 1,194 students in grades 6–8 and Hightstown High School with 1,621 students in grades 9–12.

Monroe Manor is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the southernmost part of Middlesex County and consists of the developments of Monroe Manor and Monroe Place. It is bordered to the south by Millstone Township in Monmouth County and to the west by the Renaissance at Monroe development. New Jersey Route 33 forms the northern border of the CDP, leading west 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to Hightstown and east 11 miles (18 km) to Freehold. The area was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Perrineville is an unincorporated community located within Millstone Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08535. As of the 2000 United States Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 08535 was 2,073. Perrineville is located 157 feet (48 m) above sea level and is centered on Perrineville Road (County Route 1) near Agress Road. A lake in the center of the community, Perrineville Lake, is a preserved area maintained by the Monmouth County Park System.Perrineville is home to the Perrineville Jewish Center, a synagogue established in 1910 in the center of the community. More than 130 families attend prayer services regularly, led by Rabbi Sheldon Schevelowitz.

Renaissance at Monroe is a planned community and census-designated place (CDP) in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is in the southwest part of the township, bordered to the east by Monroe Manor and to the east by East Windsor Township in Mercer County. New Jersey Route 33 forms the northern edge of the community; it is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west to Exit 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike and 11 miles (18 km) east to Freehold. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 637.

Twin Rivers is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) situated within East Windsor Township, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, Twin Rivers' population was 7,787 its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 344 (+4.6%) from the 7,443 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn reflected an increase of 21 (+0.3%) from the 7,422 counted in the 2000 census. Twin Rivers was the first planned unit development in New Jersey.

Millstone Township is a township in western Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The Township is located within the Raritan Valley region and is a part of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 10,376, a decrease of 190 (−1.8%) from the 2010 census count of 10,566, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,596 (+17.8%) from the 8,970 counted in the 2000 census.The township was named after the Millstone River, a major tributary of the Raritan River, and whose name originated from an incident in which a millstone was dropped into the river. The headwaters for the Millstone River originate in the township.The township has been ranked as one of the state's highest-income communities. Based on data from the American Community Survey for 2013–2017, Millstone residents had a median household income of $156,891, more than double the statewide median of $76,475 and ranked ninth in the state among municipalities with more than 10,000 residents.

Applegarth is an unincorporated community located within Monroe Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is located in the southern portion of the township and is traversed by the road of the same name, Applegarth Road (CR 619). At the location of the original settlement, at the intersection of Applegarth, Wycoffs Mills, and Old Church Roads, there is a restaurant, farmland, and the Applegarth Fire Department. Further north along Applegarth Road are housing developments, age-restricted communities, and two elementary schools: Applegarth and Oak Tree.

Clarksburg Methodist Episcopal Church (also known as Clarksburg United Methodist Church) is a historic Methodist church at 512 County Road 524 in Millstone Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The church was built in 1845 in a Mid-19th Century Revival style. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Wyckoffs Mills is an unincorporated community located along the border of Cranbury and Monroe townships in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located at the intersection of Wyckoff Mills Road and Wyckoffs Mills Road, the area only contains lots containing residential structures; the remainder of the land is made up of farmland and wetlands. The Millstone River flows to the south of the settlement and a 500-kilovolt transmission line crosses the farmland to the north and south.

Stone Tavern is an unincorporated community located on the border of Millstone and Upper Freehold townships in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The community took its name from a stone tavern once called Britton's Tavern. Today the area, located along County Route 524 at the Millstone–Upper Freehold township line, consists mainly of single-family homes in forested rolling terrain.
