Sunset is a town in Crittenden County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 198 at the 2010 census.

The Crittenden County Courthouse is located at 85 Jackson Street in Marion, Arkansas, United States, the county seat of Crittenden County. It is a two-story brick and stone structure, nine bays wide and seven deep, with a dome centered on its otherwise flat roof. The north and south elevations, identical in appearance, feature porticos supported by six Ionic columns framing the center five bays. The frieze on each portico is inscribed "Obedience to the law is liberty". The courthouse was designed by the Chamberlain architectural firm of Fort Worth, Texas, and was built in 1911, replacing the county's second courthouse, which was destroyed by fire in 1909.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

The Crittenden County Bank and Trust Company is a historic bank building on the south side of Military Road in the center of Marion, Arkansas. It is a single-story building, faced in painted limestone on the front facade and brick on the sides, with fluted Doric columns carrying a portico that spans the building's width. Built in 1919, it has been home to a number of local banking institutions, and is a prominent local landmark, noted for its fine Classical Revival styling and its elegantly-appointed interior.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Marion High School is an accredited public high school in Marion, Arkansas, United States. Established in 1911, Marion High School is one of four public high schools in Crittenden County and the only high school of the Marion School District. The school district, and therefore the high school's attendance boundary, includes almost all of Marion, the municipalities of Clarkedale, Crawfordsville, Gilmore, Jericho, Sunset, Turrell, and portions of Jennette and West Memphis.

KQPN (730 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to West Memphis, Arkansas, and serving the Memphis metropolitan area. It is owned by F.W. Robbert Broadcasting and operated by Disruptor Radio, LLC. The station is branded as "AM 760 & AM 730 The Flame". It broadcasts a conservative talk radio format. KQPN currently simulcasts WENO from Nashville. KQPN broadcasts at 1,000 watts. Because AM 730 is a Canadian and Mexican clear channel frequency, KQPN uses a directional antenna at all times to avoid interfering with other stations. The transmitter is off Gammon Road in Marion, Arkansas.

The Johnson-Portis House is a historic house at 400 Avalon Street in West Memphis, Arkansas. Built 1936–38, it is a prominent local example of Tudor Revival architecture, designed by architects George Mahan Jr. and Everett Woods. It has a steeply pitched roof with half-timbered gables, and small-paned windows, all hallmarks of the style, and is set on an estate property landscaped by Highberger and Park. The property was developed for J.C. Johnson, a local judge.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The Lawrie House is a historic house at 600 North 7th Street in West Memphis, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, with a side-gable roof and numerous projecting gables. The first floor is faced in brick veneer, giving the appearance of a raised basement. The main facade is dominated by its porch, which has a projecting gable roof supported by four square columns. Its main entry is flanked by sidelight windows and topped by a four-light lunette window and gable. The interior features elegant Colonial Revival woodwork. The house was built in 1939 by J. O. E. Beck, a plantation owner, as a wedding present for his daughter Elizabeth, who married Donald Lawrie.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Hamilton Apartments are a historic apartment house at 113 West Danner Street in West Memphis, Arkansas. It is a two-story brick and stucco structure with a gable-on-hip roof. The first floor is finished in brick veneer up to the base of the second floor windows, while the rest of the exterior is finished in cream-colored stucco. The main entrance is centered on front facade, and there is a projecting bay with gable roof above, finished in stucco with applied half-timber detailing. The interior includes well-preserved period woodwork and plasterwork. Built in 1936, this building is one of a modest number of buildings to survive a major flood of the area the following year, owing to its location on some of the highest ground in the area. The building is also an excellent local example of Craftsman-Tudor Revival styling.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
