Avonmore stop is a tram stop under construction in the Edmonton Light Rail Transit network in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It will serve the Valley Line, and is located in 83 Street, staggered on either side of 73 Avenue, in Avonmore. Northbound passengers will board the train north of 73 Avenue, while southbound passengers will board south of 73 Avenue. The stop is scheduled to open in 2022.

The Greater North Central Francophone Education Region No. 2, known in French as the Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord (CSCN), is one of Alberta's four French language school boards. French language education is intended for children who are eligible under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. CFED-FM (Radio Cité 97,9) is a radio station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, broadcasting at 97.9 FM. A francophone community radio station for the city's Franco-Albertan community, the station was launched in 2018 by the Société de la radio communautaire du Grand Edmonton.The station's license was approved by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission in January 2017. During the station's planning phase, it received nearly $700,000 in startup grants from Western Economic Diversification Canada and the Department of Canadian Heritage.The station went on the air on October 6, 2018. Its schedule incorporates both locally produced programming and programs syndicated from the Alliance des radios communautaires du Canada and Radio France Internationale.

Davies station is an elevated light rail transit station under construction in Edmonton, Alberta, as part of its Valley Line extension. It is located south-west of the intersection of 75 Street and Wagner Road, in Davies Industrial. The station will be the first elevated rail station utilized by the Edmonton Transit Service, and will include a 1,300 stall park and ride and a new transit centre. The station is scheduled to open in 2022. On January 22, 2018, the Edmonton Arts Council announced a large-scale public art installation, by world-renowned artist Shan Shan Sheng, would become part of Davies station. The station's wood roof consists of 15,498 individual pieces of timber which were prepared and treated in Edmonton by local businesses.

It will serve the Valley Line, and is located on the east side of 85 Street, staggered on either side of 93 Avenue, between Strathearn and Holyrood. The stop is scheduled to open in 2022.

CHED (630 AM) is a radio station licensed to Edmonton, Alberta. Owned by Corus Entertainment, it broadcasts a news/talk format, and first signed on in 1954. Its studios are located on 84th Street in Edmonton, while its transmitters are located in Southeast Edmonton. CHED is the flagship station of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, and broadcasts Oilers Now, a daily talk show hosted by the team's radio colour analyst Bob Stauffer. The current agreement between the two parties extends through the 2022–23 NHL season.

École J.H. Picard School is an elementary, junior, and senior high school located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is presently the only Catholic school in Western Canada that provides complete French Immersion education from kindergarten to grade 12.
